The sauces are incredible-just be careful with SPICY! We had the LOADED FRIES- they are defenetly loaded. It's still good! But it's has fallen from it's hay day. The burritos used to be much larger and stuffed with meat, but now seem to be mostly full of cabbage and kimchi with only a few pieces of meat spread throughout. I've stopped getting them altogether and have now "settled" for the blackjack quesadilla....which is still a delicious blend of cheese, kimchi, and spicy pork. Don't get me wrong, I'll still hunt down and grab Kogi every now and then. Well that did not happen to me when I finally got to try a Lobster roll from the famous LobstaTruck. A few years ago I was at the Tustin AMC when I saw the truck. I had heard about it so we went over only to see a line that was 40 yards deep. No way to make our movie so we put it off. A few months ago I was somewhere that they were going to be only to learn that the truck broke down and the killer was last month when I was in Irvine and saw on Twitter that they were a couple blocks away. I was shocked to find that there was no line and only a few marines that had just picked up their orders. I was surprised to hear whether I wanted butter or mayo. I thought I all rolls came with mayo but I asked what was more popular. The gal mentioned that the butter was more popular so I had to try that one. I was thinking about adding the extra meat but I am glad I didn't, the roll was perfect although I wish it were a little bigger. The roll here comes on what looks like a giant buttered Texas toast, not the hoagie type roll I was imagining but the toast was really delicious and adds a lot of taste to the roll. My roll had plenty of meat and had a few big chunks that you can really bite into. It had some butter on the lobster but not so much that it was oily. Just perfect. I cant believe how good it was to taste this awesome explosion of deliciousness and I cant wait to get back to try the sandwich with mayo; you know for research. Next time I will also try the lobster bisque soup. The Marine that was eating next to me also had the soup and it really made me crave it but I had a big breakfast this morning and so I will have to chase down this truck again.

Now they're on West State near Asian Garden Mall. I believe you can call them to see where their location is if you're unsure. I randomly saw the truck on a Friday morning and was able to get food within five minutes. I tried the special which has pork chop, rib, egg, meat, meatloaf, and veggies. Price wise, it's about the same as a restaurant I would say. However, I feel like you do get a bit more food than a restaurant. I normally don't order the pork chop, but I was so happy that I did because it was very flavorful and tender. Everything on the plate was delicious. I ordered the shrimp patty (tau hu ky) separately. I wouldn't get that again. It wasn't worth the extra $5. I definitely want to try the pork next time.
