The "new" owners of SNJ Cleaning Services (Eddie & Davlynn) have actually owned this business for a few years now, so I'm surprised there haven't been any updated reviews! Maybe everyone's best-kept-secret?? One of my friends is a monthly customer (carried over from the original owners) & said they were really good, so I actually bought one-time cleaning service for a few close friends that year, as extra special Christmas presents. Since then, everyone has had only good things to say...they're very easy to work with; hardworking, efficient & detail-oriented; overall great cleaning service. One friend even marveled that, not only did SNJ clean all around and under her husband's shoe rack, but they also arranged his shoes nicely on the rack (bc they were mostly scattered around the floor before that), lol! So when I needed to clean out a large room in our house on short notice--for my uncle to move in--we called SNJ for a "deep cleaning" service. When compared to about 4 other companies, their price was very reasonable ($350 for deep cleaning everything floor to ceiling, including the attached full-bath & kitchenette, plus $50 for carpet shampooing), and most importantly, Davlynn was able to schedule me for that very same weekend! (Really impressed that they work weekends too!) I'm not sure how they're doing estimates now--with COVID restrictions--but when I worked with them in early March 2020, Davlynn & Eddie also did on-site visits to provide free price quotes. On the day of service, Davlynn & her friend/assistant arrived about 15 minutes late, but they texted me ahead of time, to let me know they were running late. Davlynn did a quick walk around the room with me, as I pointed out some areas of concern, and noted that the carpet had some deeply stained areas that might need heavy duty cleaning. From start to finish, they spent about 4 hours cleaning everything in great detail, and Eddie also joined them to do the carpet cleaning. Everything was spic and span by the time they left, and we were very happy with the result. The only concern was that the carpet was still damp--because Eddie had gone over it a couple extra times, to try to get out those horrible stains--but they advised us to leave the windows open overnight to help everything dry out. Unfortunately, I think we should've used mor than just a ceiling fan to air out the place, because the carpet developed a really bad smell over the next few days. Didn't help that it rained that entire weekend too!! Eddie & Davlynn offered to come back the following weekend, to re-do the carpet, but ultimately we just decided to replace the carpet entirely. While it's unfortunate that the carpet ended up being a problem, they did offer to rectify it, and I don't really hold it against them. For regular cleaning needs, I would definitely call SNJ again. read more

I am enjoying a leisurely start to my Saturday because of SNJ Cleaning Services! Nothing like waking up to a clean house on the weekend. Seriously! We started off with a bang by getting their deep cleaning service. This was no joke - the three of them removed carpet stains, organized and cleaned all cabinets, pantry, the refrigerator, EVERYTHING! They dusted everywhere, moved furniture and vacuumed behind it, picked up tons of pet hair, scrubbed the bathrooms, showers, and toilets, even folded the toilet paper like a hotel. I made sure to book them for the regular cleaning before they left. My husband and I kept saying "why didn't we do this sooner???" Do it, you won't regret it! read more

Update: Just got back from our old apartment. Spent 3 hrs cleaning the floor, sides of the oven, floor under the over and fridge. Yes they didn't even make an attempt or pull out the oven. Have photos of the floor after SnJ finished and after I redid the floor using over the counter Tilex I bought at Longs/CVS. The before and after photos do not lie. Again, I wouldn't have had to redo the floors and the missed areas if SnJ did it right the first time. No discount for the poor job they did and Eric didn't even give me a receipt. (not very professional) I would feel ashamed of taking someone's hard earned money after such a poor job they did. No you do not need a professional cleaning machine to remove old wax. All you need is some good ol fashion elbow grease. I finished the job with mop n glo and it looks awesome. So again if you have a job that requires a bit of elbow grease SnJ are not for you. I knew i made a good call by booking you to help me with house cleaning in my new place after seeing what an amazing job you did with the move out cleaning in my previous place. As a matter of fact, even the property manager was impressed and wanted to know who we worked with. If anyone is looking for cleaning services, i would highly recommend this dynamic duo. I have never worked with a cleaning service before and am glad that my first experience was a positive one. The feeling i got when i came home after they were done was like that feeling of walking into a neat and clean hotel room. Everything was arranged so orderly and lined up, even things that i never expected them to organize, like my babys bins of toys. Even the ends of the toilet tissue in all the bathrooms were folded into a triangle, it was cute. They had the key to our home, arrived as we were leaving and were gone before we returned a few hours later. We did not come home to anything broken, cracked, or missing. I was so overwhelmed that I hired SNJ to clean the apartment I moved out of so that I could get my deposit back! I GOT MY ENTIRE DEPOSIT BACK! ERIC and KRISTIN kept me posted the whole time, they were fast and the MOST AFFORDABLE! To put the frosting on it they are absolutely GREAT PEOPLE! I couldn't believe that they did it without a crew. Pleasant and professional. I moved out of a 2 bedroom and into a 3 bedroom. Which should feel like an upgrade but after I went back to my 2 bedroom and saw how spotless the apartment was that I was leaving for the next tenant, I kinda felt like the 3 bedroom I was moving into could have used the SNJ MAGIC! Too bad for me that I was in a financial bind after paying the movers to move my furniture and coming up with my deposit for the new 3 bedroom. I called several places and only one other cleaning company was available for same day cleaning. A kid in our children's church was found to have pinworms so we wanted to take extra precautions and make sure everything was sanitized to prevent any spread of it. Eric was very prompt in returning my call, originally apologizing and saying that they were booked that whole day. After a few minutes, he calls again saying that his wife told him to help us out so they squeezed us in that afternoon. They ran a little late, but texted and kept me updated so I was never left wondering. I am so appreciative they could come on such short-notice. They are a husband-wife team and they worked really efficiently together in cleaning and sanitizing our church's four bathrooms. They were familiar with working with churches so they understood that we would need to receive an invoice and then send a check later. After having a cleaning lady who did only the bare minimum, and sometimes not even that, we fired her, and were wary of finding a new cleaning service...until Shirley and her son, Johnny showed up. Five stars! The best dynamic duo you could ask to clean ever! Our appointment with another company was canceled the day of and we needed our place cleaned out by today because we were moving out the same day. I called them and asked if they could come the same day and thank God for them because they said yes to come even after their regular hours! They did such a great job cleaning my two bedroom and 1.5 baths we couldn't have asked for a better service. Kitchen was cleaned baths and floors were shiny and glossy. Based on the positive reviews I hired them to do just floors and bathrooms in a beautiful home (no deep or heavy duty cleaning needed) as a trial. When I asked Christina to vacuum the dust on the window sills--not actual windows--if they had time, Christina refused, saying she did not understand English. I asked Eric and he said okay but they were never done. It was only 4 double hung windows. For a 3 bedroom 2 bath 2,000 SF clean FLOORS and BATHS only they charged $400. It took them 3 hours. Thats $66/hr per person. The job did not meet professional standard expectations - for example the fixtures still had water spots on them, and some areas of tub were dull -- not shiny as if missed by the sponge. I understand it was my bad that I left the payment at the home prior and I did not get a chance to inspect until I returned to the property and they had left. I am still in astonishment on the great job these two have provided. One would be skeptical with just two people cleaning an entire home, but they exceeded my expectations. There is nothing like walking into a clean and fresh smelling home. They even fixed my drawer that was broken. They exceeded the previous cleaning service I used before. I had a mid-year inspection at my rental and needed somebody quick...THANKFULLY~I stumbled onto SNJ Cleaning Services and was beyond pleased. Her team did such a thorough job of my apartment! Every surface was dust free, she scrubbed out hard-water stains, rust, mold, and whatever else was in the tubs and sinks. I was expecting a light sweep of the floors; however, she instead wiped them down, vacuumed, and swept them. Her team's attention to detail was amazing, even going as far as to organizing my shoes and randoms on my tables. *lol--she did such a good job wiping my sliding doors that my dog and brother walked into them* I recommend her to all my friends and will be using her again for any other cleaning needs I should have! read more

Eric and his wife are very nice and able to do what you ask or your requests. Always timely and think there prices are reasonable. I have them come every other month just because I am a student and don't make much.. I live in a 2 bedroom 1bath condo with mother and 2 always shedding fur dogs. I don't need them to really clean our bedrooms my main areas are kitchen and bathroom and living room. I do the deep clean so I think that's why the price is up there that I pay but I get everything done deep clean wise for bathroom and kitchen and living room. I ask then to take out all dished grin cabinets and wipe down since I still have little roaches around which I want them to clean up. They wipe all countertops and in living room I ask them to move couches to vacuum underneath for all dog hair. They take off all the mold in shower and wipe down floors all over the house. They wipe windows and dusty areas. I tell them to sanitize down everything. Overall they do an ok job sometimes I notice they miss stuff but not a big deal.. Just remember I get a deep clean every other month or every two months so the price is reasonable 250 about. I like them and they are very flexible sometimes I might skip a month or two and it's ok. read more

We hired SNJ a few weeks ago to clean our two-story townhome after moving out and was thoroughly impressed with the job that they did. When I asked Jhonny over the phone if they'd be able to clean our screens and windows, in addition to everything else on the two-page long move-out checklist provided to us by the property management company, he said no problem and didn't even try to raise the price. That in itself was awesome, but they even went above and beyond that by doing an extra powerwash on the walls and concrete area outside the back sliding door. We were really very glad that we found Eric and Christina. The previous tenants did not clean at all, and left the apt in a pretty bad shape. We didn't have the time and energy to do a deep cleaning even tho it's a small 380 sq ft apt. (A piece of cake for SNJ!) They were punctual and kept in communication via texts and calls. They listened to what we wanted and spent two and a half hours getting out spots, stains, and grimes as best they could. The place looked great and we were finally able to move around in it without fear of stepping on something gross. Their price was reasonable for the work ($200). They showed us what they did and the stubborn areas they couldn't remove. We would definitely call them again and highly recommend them. read more

Not happy with the service at all. Reading previous reviews I thought they would be great and they seem to be nice people but they wanted $475 to do a first clean a 4 bedroom house only 1100 sq ft and 3 bedrooms I specifically said vacuum only. No way , I only wanted to spend $200. So they said they would come for 3 hours and get what they could done. That was fine as I was really only using master bedroom, bath and kitchen as I just got out of the hospital with back surgery. Well they did an okay job the first time and since I was still drugged up I guess I was just happy to have the place a little cleaner. I had them back two weeks later and they only stayed 1 1/2 hours and still wanted $175. WOW for only two people there that is $58 per hour. I want a job like that. Later that evening we found an item on our shelf broken. We asked Eric about it and he said he didn't know anything about it. Funny how we found the other half of the broken piece in the garbage they tossed. When I looked further at the work it was not professional and definitely not worth the money. Seems like they just wiped the floors and counters. Didn't even while the shower walls. Will not use them again. I hope they enjoy the free money for Christmas cause they did not earn it. read more

I am totally amazed with the professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail with this dynamic duo! I hired them to do a move out cleaning for our 3 bedroom 2.5 rental home in Mililani Mauka and I am still in awww at the thoroughness of their job. They arrived at our rental at 830am sharp and did not leave until the job was done 10 hours later! Our old neighbors were so amazed that our utility sink was once again white along with wiping down each individual piece of the wire shelving in our walk in closets. They even cleaned the sliding glass door tracks for the closets, removed and washed every drawer and shelf in the refrigerator and more. These are just a few of the details that no other cleaning company offered or provides and their pride in their work goes above and beyond my expectations by far. I WISHED MY REALTOR HAD CHOSEN THIS COMPANY FOR OUR MOVE IN but instead, they chose to use a cheaper company who used Pledge, yes, Pledge on our Pergo flooring! I am truly not satisfied with how these cleaners first say one thing then when it comes to doing the actual job they do otherwise. When they came over to our 2 stories house they gave us an estimate of $480 and I asked if the windows are included in the price and the answer was Yes! I also told them that they have to give us a receipt to give to the house owner and that we want a guarantee that if something is wrong they have to deal with the owner and not with us and they told us no problem. So when on the day that they were supposed to come and clean the house they called to tell us that they dont do windows i was really annoyed because first of they had said they will do the windows when they gave us the estimate, and now we had to find and pay someone else in a hurry since we were moving out of the house the day after they do the cleaning!! We ended up having to pay another $350 just for the windows to be cleaned by someone else! They also did not clean the kitchen cupboard, bathroom mirror and wooden floor properly and when the day after we told them so they gave us an attitude. When we asked for receipt they told us that we have to add another $20 to the $480 to total the amount to $500 and that they would not be dealing with the owner!!! Really?!? That was the first thing we talked to you about and you said no problem and now you tell us that you already did the walk through with us when all you did was do what you have not done properly the day before when you were supposed to?! I would not recommend them to my friends, or anyone else who is moving out because we were truly let down and not satisfied with the job. read more

After my wife completed her 4-year military assignment on Oahu, she needed her Moana Pacific condo completely cleaned for the landlord's final move-out inspection, including a deep-clean for the carpet. Eric at SNJ was responsive to our inquiries and offered us a great discount for letting him do both jobs together. He arrived 5 minutes early for his appointment with his wonderful wife and one more helper to tackle the 1100sf home. 3.5 hours of nonstop work and $550 later, my wife's condo was spotless from floor to ceiling...windows were streak-free, bathrooms were spotless, lanai was sparkling, and the carpet looked better than when my wife first moved into the house 4 years ago.
