I was pressured to write my last review, as the movers were persistent in that I write a review in…read moretheir presence. The truth is, I would not recommend this company. I contracted 3 movers for a 1bdr move that was 2 blocks away. Though I received 3 movers, only 2 of the movers seemed to be putting in full effort to move things quickly and carefully. The 3rd was remarkably slow, and I barely saw him at all. At one point, I even caught him leaning on the lobby apartment steps looking at his phone. Though the new location was only 2 blocks away, somehow my coffee table arrived broken. Though the main guy was apologetic about how it broke via transport, they only offered me $50 off as compensation (for a ~$300 coffee table). At the end of the move, I paid in cash and included a 17% tip off the total. The movers were visibly upset and asked for more money, which took me by surprise. They left disgruntled. The main mover apologized on behalf of the other two on the basis that they were new. He then asked me to write this review and insisted that I do it in front of him. I repeatedly expressed that I was not comfortable with this, he was quite persistent otherwise he would not receive his bonus--which I don't know if this is true, but I disapprove of any company that incentivizes extortion of reviews this way. Ultimately I caved, because I was intimidated by the possibility of retaliation and was in a rush to have these men out of my home. Given this experience, I would be wary of the other reviews on this platform that may have been submitted under similar circumstances.

I felt comfortable from the beginning, communication was very easy and they were very transparent with their rates. We had a small move (moving mom to assisted living). Umid and John arrived on time. They wrapped the sofa, dressers, TV etc with care and had everything loaded on the truck in 1/2 hour. When we arrived to the assisted living facility the power was out. I panicked but they were very cool. They asked where the stairway was and hauled everything up the stairs. They helped us put the adjustable bed together, unpacked all the furniture and asked if they can help with anything else. The entire job took about 2 hours including the 25mn drive. They were professional, courteous and friendly. I would use them again in a heartbeat and I would not hesitate to recommend them to all our friends and family. Umid and John thank you again for a job well done. It was very much appreciated

We called them at 3:30 or so and not only were they the only moving company who had same day service that late in the day but they were able to send people out between 4:00 and 6:00. We left at 5:00 to get to our new rental property after filling the rest of our UHaul ourselves and the guys came shortly after within the estimated time and finished packing those items by 7:30. They arrived at our location at 11:00 or so and finished unpacking with good coordination. I got an estimate from the representative for two guys and a truck at $209/hr and got excellent service from two young and strong Russian guys Nicky and Eddy. The company charges for the drive back and when we're driving 3.5 hours to our location that is quite steep. We still couldn't have moved out of that place at that pace without their help.

The move took around five hours, and once we unpacked, we found several items damaged or missing parts. Our rotating bookshelf had a broken bottom and missing screws, making it not repairable. A rolling side table is missing two of its four wheels. The protective corner bumper covers were damaged, and other furniture had new scuff marks and damage. Altogether, it is a few hundred dollars' worth of damage. The owner was personally nice, and I understand moving is physically demanding work, especially on a hot day. Which is why I felt so bad... we also made sure to bring the crew cold energy drinks because we know it's hot out and it's tiring to move. However, at this price point, I expected much more care in handling our belongings. The other movers were not rude, but they were not especially communicative or careful either. I appreciate that they got us moved, but this was not a smooth experience and the damage we found afterward was extremely disappointing. Based on the cost, time involved, and condition of our belongings, I would not use this company again or recommend it to others.
