I always go to this smoothie king, even though it's like 29 mins away, for 1 very specific smoothie because they make it very well and yesterday i drove all the way there just to be told that one of the ingredients was all gone. I was pissed because i wanted that specific smoothie and would've preferred them call me to let me know before i drove all the way there. So i gave feedback, not expecting anything to really be done about it but i got a phone call the next morning from Jackie who apologized, understood the issue and wanted to right it! We usually don't go to this location and won't ever be going back. The employees were very kind and made my smoothie in a quick and delicious manner. However the bussines owner was very rude and treated her employees in a very disrespectful and rude manner which made me feel very uncomfortable. This is a great location! Coit Road and Mapleshade, one light north of George Bush Turnpike (across the street from Sam's Club). My favorite smoothie is the Angel Food! So refreshing with strawberries and bananas! Even though I have the app on my phone and have placed orders through it, we decided to order once we arrived. Nope, still sticking with my Angel Food! The staff that works here were very nice and worked quickly to fulfill our orders as well as for others in the store. Super disappointed in my visit here today. We usually don't go to this location and will likely never go back!! We wondered why our order was so expensive... we ordered 5 20oz drinks.. and it was $40... they charged us for 1 20oz drink and 4 32oz drinks :/. When we mentioned it.. he didn't fix it for us, he just gave us attitude and said that's what we ordered. Also I ordered a strawberry and got vanilla. I get the same one all the time and it's always pink - this was white. I mentioned that it didn't look right, but they said it's strawberry. After tasting it... Definitely is not strawberry. Location is clean, customer service is friendly and helpful and knowledgeable for food allergies. The drinks take a little long to make and sometimes come out messy, but when we are at this location we are just leaving the climbing gym and not in a hurry. We love $5 Friday's for ANY size drink! read more

Not my favorite place for smoothies (I prefer Nekter or Jamba Juice), but pretty decent. They have a pretty big menu with lots of different options and some smoothies are even able to be meal replacements. They have different categories as well such as slimming, wellness, etc which I thought was pretty neat. I ordered the Acai Adventure and it was pretty good. Not sure why this location has received anything less than 5 stars? This Smoothie King location is my go-to and they always make sure I leave with an absolutely PERFECT smoothie! The store manager is always present and on-duty. Whether she is directing her employees or jumping in to make my smoothie herself (she is a master of the smoothie arts BTW!), she is always engaging to the customer and making sure you leave satisfied. The other employees are always asking about your day, friendly, and blending up impeccable smoothie concoctions! My smoothie always comes out with a perfect smoothie consistency and exactly as I ordered it. Bottom Line - this Smoothie King location really is as good as it gets! read more

Smoothie tastes great, it's the customer service/ unfriendliness and ridiculousness of asking for "no apple juice but add stevia instead" and then up-charging I'm not OK with.
