The best catfish I'd ever had was at Paula Dean's in Tennessee -- that is until I had this catfish. OMGGGG! Unreal. I love these hole-in-the-wall places like this that just make the best food. You'd never assume this would be the best meal I had all trip by looking at the pictures, but it certainly was. Fairly priced. Friendly staff. Super clean. 10/10 experience! My only complaint if I HAD to say something: I wish they had a house-made tartar sauce. The little packet they give you was lackluster. But otherwise incredible meal!!!!

But the counter service is quick and you won't have to wait long. The full-size po-boys are massive. If you get a Ferty (roast beef, ham, Swiss cheese), bring a construction crew to help you eat it, or be prepared to be eating leftovers for two or three days. I love a good shrimp po-boy, but it's usually too big for me. I have landed on the Shrimp on a bun as a fantastic alternative. It's so overstuffed with shrimp you can't eat it without them falling out. And it is perfectly dressed with just the right amount of lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayonnaise. And the fries! Y'all, the fries are so crispy and delicious, and they also come in a massive amount. Too many for one sitting. This is a place I regularly stop at for lunch when I am in this area.

I had a very disappointing experience at Stingrays this weekend. Not only was the food…read moreunsatisfactory, but the customer service was even worse. I ordered two Crawfish Taylor, and when I checked my food before leaving, I noticed that both of them contained only four crawfish tails. Had I not checked before leaving, I would have been stuck with food that was clearly not worth what I paid. When I brought the issue to management's attention and requested a refund, the manager/owner was rude, racist, dismissive, and very unprofessional. I was initially told that I could only receive a refund for one crawfish, despite both orders being unsatisfactory. After standing up for myself and insisting on a full refund of the $33.95 I spent, the situation escalated unnecessarily. What was most upsetting was being threatened with having the police called on me simply because I was requesting my money back for food I was unhappy with. I left feeling disrespected and unfairly treated. Based on my experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this establishment to others. Your response is completely inaccurate. The owner is not telling the full truth about what happened. She did threaten to call the police, but she never did because she knew she was wrong in how she handled the situation. My cousin did not use any profanity until after the owner snatched the bag of boiled crawfish from us and threw it back at us. No one ever stood on a chair, and several details in your statement are simply false. The issue started because we paid for food that was not prepared as advertised and were dissatisfied with the quality. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, the owner became rude, confrontational, and disrespectful. Customers should not be treated that way when they have a legitimate complaint. We are sharing our experience as it happened, and we stand by our account of the events.

My bartender (I was alone and I sit at a bar, so not to be too lonely) Arianna! She was approachable and kind whilst made the drinks appropriately. Don't go here for a strong NOLA pour.
