Mixed base of Stupid cupid and passionfruit with pineapples, strawberries, flaxseed granola, cocowhip and strawberry puree drizzle
    Tia C.

I tried two items on the summer special menu and ordered using the app. My order took less than 10 minutes. I got a mixed base playa passion and stupid cupid bowl. Its topped with blueberry flax granola, strawberry, pineapple, Cocowhip & honey. The tropical twist smoothie is a mix of Passion Fruit & Mango base, strawberries, coconut milk, Cocowhip & strawberry puree drizzle. Both were so good and refreshing!! I can't wait to go back.

Coconut Custom Banana Bowl- includes blueberry flax granola with chia

First time visiting and the stays were super friendly and helpful. There is so much to choose from, but they let you taste samples. I got the Coconut and Banana mixed bowl, it was packed and delicious. The shop is very welcoming with good music. I sat and journaled and Shazammed a couple songs I liked.

Ahhhhh what an amazing place!!! When I step in, I feel like I'm on a beach, especially when you look up in the ceiling and you see a surfboard. I love the tropical field of this place. And all while eating healthy. Everything here is healthy I mean, fruits and veggies and the like. I tried to duplicate myself, but as you could see, it didn't work out because I'm back here. At any rate I love this place if you wanna açai bowl, coconut bowl, green bowl, mango bowl, an oatmeal bowl, a smoothie, fresh juices you name it they have it here. Just so you know, the bowls that I named are just the base. You can add all kinds of topping such as coconut flakes, honey, blueberry, strawberry, mango, my personal favorite, Nutella. If you can think it, they probably have it here. I find the service to be excellent, and as I stated, the food in and of itself is simply amazing. I wish I could eat one of these every day for the rest of my life. The bowls have a natural sweetness and that's truly amazing. This is a great place to grab a quick healthy bite to eat and the price range is from $11 to $12 and while they may seem a little pricey, it is chocked full of fruit and things that are healthy for you, so it's actually priced right. oh, and I didn't mention about the sweet cream brew coffee that is simply amazing. It is made with oat milk or coconut milk. I've only had it with the oat milk and that's a win for me. So come on and grab you a bowl, you wo t be disappointed... Oh and it's a shared parking lot so if you see a spot grab it.

Everything about this place is amazing. Always fresh, always ready when I get there for mobile orders, employees are super friendly.

    Nutella Bowl Extra granola

This is my favorite snack to get any day! The Nutella bowl is A 10/10 so fresh and sweet it's been times I come here Mon- Friday. When I first start eating Playa it was it New Jersey and I've been hooked ever since. When it made its way to New Orleans I was beyond happy! This location is the main one I go to the workers are always nice and very helpful! If you have had playa seriously check it out!

    Electric mermaid and custom Açaí
    Briana E.

I have had so many açaí bowls in my lifetime. It's one of my favorite snacks of all time. Playa Bowls has the best bowls HANDS DOWN!!! It's refreshing and so tasty. This was my first time trying pitaya and that is now going to be my go to! They are also very generous with the serving size and it's just so cute inside the store! They have so many things to choose from. I 100% recommend you guys give them a try! The service was fast and friendly and definitely gives you welcoming vibes!

I'm sure this place will know me by name soon. I've been 3 times in the last 2 weeks. It came highly recommended from a friend of mine. The Mucho Mango bowl clearly has me in a chokehold but doing the Electric Mermaid with half mango base was a great choice for my last visit. Everyone always asks me what it is exactly... best I can say is that the base reminds me of sorbet and it's topped with fruit, granola, coconut shavings and drizzled in honey. There are other bowls with Nutella and other things in it. This tasty snack is a great way to curb my sweet cravings. The staff is always super friendly and allows me to try other bases. The dining space is small but very clean. The business is always steady each time I've gone but it takes less than 5 min to get your order. I can't wait to try more bowls and even smoothies in the future.

    #2 Oatmeal Bowl
    Sarah S.

We came in on Saturday morning-the first things we noticed coming in was the amazing smell of the fresh smoothies and their art. What a fun and welcoming way to wake up! I ordered the #2 oatmeal bowl. This was worth the wait-the oats and the berries were filling and wonderful. So simple and so good.

    Electric Mermaid
    Truvae D.

A good post workout meal option! My favorite is the electric mermaid. It's a Pitaya bowl with mango, Keewee, coconut flakes, granola, and honey! The bowls are super filling and make survive a car ride home!

I often order pickup - the food is good, but the staff is not. Every time I ask for "no coconut" it's always on. Every time. It's a little thing, but it drives me insane.

    Ginger Bomb x cute bag!
    Felecia V.

Disclaimer: I tried this place via delivery. I'll update when I actually go. So, I ordered a custom açaí bowl with a bunch of stuff: berries, coconut, walnuts, protein powder, flax seed oil, kale, spinach, white chocolate, etc. I know: RANDOM. The bowl was pretty good...about a 9/10. I do think the berries could have been a little fresher as well as more than 2 spinach leaves LOL. The strawberries and blueberries were extremely soft (not the acceptably "ripe soft"). Overall, that's my only gripe. The açaí was still pretty frozen upon arrival and had a delicious, mild taste. It wasn't really sweet. I also had a ginger bomb. It lived up to its expectation of giving me a light boost of feeling better (which I desperately need). It has a strong ginger taste, sort of like ginger orange juice. I'll make it there next time!

This is what you see when you first walk in!

There's minimal seating but it's fitting for the size of the place. The store is in a strip so it shares a parking lot with other stores one of them being Starbucks

    Nica bowl with sliced almonds
    Janna J.

This was my first time here. Normally, I probably would have gotten it to go, but I was meeting a friend and we ate inside. They have one table outdoors. I got the Nica bowl with sliced almonds. It was very good and filling. Next time I think I will add some protein powder. I will definitely be back.

Very expensive for what you're getting but honestly very good. I normally just stick with their açaí bowls. Don't get kiwi, it's never ripe.

The juice shot wasn't my favorite, but it sure tasted healthy lol I also bought their strawberry colada smoothie ($10 for 24oz). It has almond milk, coconut water, frozen pineapple, frozen strawberries, and a touch of honey. It was good, but I could probably have used a bit more than a "touch" of honey since I have a sweet-tooth. Although, I guess that would defeat the purpose of trying to stay healthy lol They're a little bit pricy comparatively to some other places, so I took away one star, but I have no complaints about the store or their products in general! Visited this location on a UPSIZE FRIDAY, as I like to call it…read more To be fair, I ordered in the app, so this review is mostly about the quality of the food, the physical location & the customer service. The app: ordering in the app was very easy. Although there are a lot of places to go in the app, it pretty much is straightforward; smoothie bowls, smoothies, nutritional snacks, discount & check out. The value: whether in the app or in the store itself, prices have increased. I get it, supplies are more expensive, less people are going to work, and it's just inflation so you pony up the extra for what you want and you keep it moving. That's exactly what I did this time around. I paid $11.99 for the bowls and because today was "Upsize Friday", as I call it, I got a 32 ounce for the price of a 20 ounce. Three items and my bill was $33 and some change. I feel like we could've sat down and had breakfast for that price. However, I wanted to try to the bowls and I'm glad that I did. The bowls were quite tasty. I believe the one I had was made with açai fruit as the main ingredient and then I tasted some oats and lots of mangoes and some other things like blueberries, and some other deliciousness Definitely checking it off my bucket list, I don't know how many more times I will repeat the purchase but I did enjoy it. The customer service: as I walked in, I do not recall anyone welcoming me to Smoothie King however, I don't know if that is there protocol or policy, so I was unbothered by that. However, entering into the store itself, it smelled quite fruitful and obviously that's understood because of the fruit and all the fixings. I walked over to the pick up area for mobile orders and my order was not there. So I waited because I realized it was 11:05a. My order was not to be done until 11:12a. However, the young lady behind the counter asked me if I was there to pick up an order I told her yes, and she proceeded to push my order out to me. I was in and out lickety-split. Another #StickAndMoveCaper, you know I love these. The OVERALL EXPERIENCE: overall from start to finish, from the time I entered the parking lot to the time I exited the parking lot. This was one of the better experiences at a Smoothie King store. I was able to place my order, skip the line, pick up my ACCURATE order and leave. The store was clean. The parking lot was too. Few spaces in the back for parking so off-street parking may be what you need to do. It is on a corner, so you have quite a few areas to park. I look forward to returning to this location to repeat the same #StickAndMoveCaper.
