Here's a clear review you can paste. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Playa Bowls. I ordered my usual açaí bowl with bananas, Nutella, and no coconut, and there was a long blonde hair in my food. It's disgusting and completely unacceptable. When you buy food, you expect it to be safe and handled cleanly. Even if mistakes happen, this should never make it into someone's bowl. I feel frustrated and honestly grossed out. I'm sure this place will know me by name soon. I've been 3 times in the last 2 weeks. It came highly recommended from a friend of mine. The Mucho Mango bowl clearly has me in a chokehold but doing the Electric Mermaid with half mango base was a great choice for my last visit. Everyone always asks me what it is exactly... best I can say is that the base reminds me of sorbet and it's topped with fruit, granola, coconut shavings and drizzled in honey.
