The staff is always nice and clear whenever you have questions about any drinks on the menu. Whenever I go here with my mom, we always get their Golden Retriever with no ice (including tax is $6.80). The staff always make it perfect with so many toppings in the drink. It has a classic milk tea taste to it; which she prefers. I really had a good experience mainly because of the fast service because the workers seemed very welcoming and passionate about the quick service they provided. The staff at this particular location are incredibly rude and will treat you badly without provocation. The drink quality is hit or miss, but the biggest issue is the employees. They won't acknowledge you when you enter and when you go to order they ignore you, even if there are no other customers. Me and my best friend went to Sharetea last night and the service was actually very mediocre. For one, when we entered the storefront we weren't greeted at all which is odd being that usually you'd get a "hi! Welcome in" from most places. Once we got to the register we had to initiate the conversation to order because the young lady behind the counter said nothing to us. We began to order and it's like she went blank, we finished telling her our order and once we took out our card to pay she said "wait what'd you want?" as if she wasn't directly infront of us tapping on the register. When you walk in you're verbally greeted by the staff, but also by the definitive smell of "bubble tea-ness". I can't describe the smell, but you'll know it when you enter. Got here 25 minutes before they close! There was a line of about 10+. They enforce social distancing. Where you enter one lane and exit around the tables. We ordered the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea and Mango Passion Fruit Tea with pearls and lychee jelly, which cost extra. I actually wanted mini pearls but they were sold out. The QQ Happy Family Milk Tea normally comes with pearls, mini pearls, lychee jelly, grass jelly, and red beans. It would have been nice to try it with the mini pearls. But overall it was so delicious!! My hubby and baby girl loved it. I did too! We normally order 50% or less sugar for any drinks. I mentioned it for both drinks, but I guess they didn't hear me for the Mango passion fruit tea, so it was 100% sugar. Man was it sweet! So we ended up saving it until we got home, which was a 3-hour drive. Added more ice and water and it was perfect! More Tea for us. Parking lot has average amount of spaces, but we were able to get a spot fairly easily around 8:35pm. I like their decor and interior design. They even have a candy claw machine. This is liquid gold! I've had some non-franchise local boba (pearls) around the West Bank and most of them were disappointing not only in flavors but also the lack of toppings. Sharetea is a ritual every Monday for my partner and I. It's a bit of home that we miss (Los Angeles) and the staff is quick and great. I highly recommend their QQ Happy Family Time (or something of that sort). Mini pearls are excellent here and it's just an excellent way to get your boba cravings. read more

When my sister told me that there was a Sharetea opening in Metairie, I was so excited since it's one of her favorite boba tea places to go to in Texas. My husband and I finally got a chance to go there a couple weeks ago and we've been back two more times ever since! I'm the type of person that likes to venture out sometimes with food at restaurants to really see what else they have to offer but the first time I went, I feel like I picked a winner and haven't been able to stray from it just yet. I got the mango green milk tea at 50% sweet and less ice with the pearls in it. The natural sweetness of the mango and the little pieces that you actually get in the drink made it taste like the right amount of sweet to me. I still crave this drink and will probably keep picking this one until I'm ready to branch out. My husband got the coffee milk tea at 100% sweet with pearls and I enjoyed it but it tasted like an average coffee bubble tea to me. This last time he got the mango and passion fruit green tea with pearls and I did enjoy that one a lot too. For now, I'll just have my regular and have him be the one to branch out for new drinks. I have been craving Sharetea lately. They have a variety of flavors like most boba shops. The Okinawa particularly stands out here. It is a toasted brown sugar flavor. I'm so glad Sharetea has arrived in Metairie! This area is just booming with delicious food and drinks now!! It's located where Morning Call used to be, the small plaza across the street from Lakeside. Parking has never been an issue, though in the evenings I have to park a lot farther down. Service is super friendly and helpful, though the wait for drinks can be pretty long sometimes. It's always so crowded whenever I stop by! The menu is pretty expansive, with lots of milk tea, fruit tea, and coffee options. My go-tos are their taro milk tea and oolong creama. They are both delicious, but still taste really sweet when I get 30% sugar, sadly. I guess it depends on who makes the drink if their measurements are a little off? I've been to different locations in southern CA and have been fine with the sweetness when I get the exact same order. OMG, Sharetea in New Orleans?! A popular franchise in plenty of cities all over the US and we finally got it! About damn time!! Soft opening started February 28th and from many Snapchats and Instagram stories, the wait was 1.5-2 hours. The hype is real. Very real. I was lucky enough to go right when it opened at noon on Feb 29th and was second in line! Yet still waited 15 minutes because the guy in front of me ordered 7 drinks hahaha. Ordered the Oolong Creama and the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea. There is only one size and it was a very big cup. Prices were not too shabby either. The QQ happy family is a good option for people who love toppings. It comes with big pearls, mini pearls, egg pudding, red bean, and a jelly with their classic milk tea all for only $4.75. The most bang for your buck. The cashier mentioned it was the #1 most ordered on their first day of soft opening. The person in front of me in line told me if you don't like one of the toppings included then you could sub it for extra of something else! Very cool tip. The Oolong creama came with a little teeny plastic knife. You can either slit the top on both sides and sip on it or you could use the straw to mix it all up. I personally didn't like this drink as much as the QQ happy family but it was still pretty good. Interior was very pretty. The only downside I would say was that the music was just a tad bit too loud. I had to keep asking what the cashier was saying and vice versa. Sharetea is great! I've tried it before in Dallas and Houston and was super excited when I heard it was opening in New Orleans. The quality in the ingredients is obvious - I love their fresh milk teas, winter melon tea with fresh milk and their herbal jelly topping. Their boba tastes really fresh. Since they just opened, the wait has been a bit long but they do their best to get your order quickly. Hands down best Boba in New Orleans. I was SOOOO excited when I saw the Share tea banner up a few months ago in place of the old Morning Call location near the mall. I've never actually tried Sharetea before but my friends in San Francisco always talk about how good it is despite how much competition they have in the bay area. I've actually been here about 4-5 times already and bought at least 8-9 drinks, all have been amazing. So far I've tried: 1. Hawaii punch (30% sugar): Forgot the actual name but it's really good! It's one of the most refreshing drinks and already comes with toppings included. I HIGH recommend the 30% sugar because it gets really really sweet otherwise. 2. Original Milk tea with Oolong (30% sugar): Also love it. Great Oolong flavor and not too milky. I probably should have gotten 50% sugar since 30% is a bit too bland BUT it was still good and you can taste that they brew it with real tea and don't use powder. 3. Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea: Really good! Strong caramel flavor which I love. 4. Wintermelon Tea Creama: By far my favorite. This is my favorite drink at Gong Cha and I was cautious trying the same drink at another location since most places can't make it the same. The one here is spot on and delicious. I actually don't like drinking it how they recommend since the creama gets too sweet and I rather just mix it all up at once and just leave a small amount of milk foam on top at the end. But your supposed to not mix it and just sip the foam with the milk tea. Either way, its super delicious. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall, the service is amazing and the location is perfect. The owner is super nice and I saw him working in the background. The service is excellent. I'm so glad we actually have a real Boba place in New Orleans. KFT down the block really didn't cut it for me because their sizes were too small and not worth the price. Only downside to this place is every time I try to log my phone number to get points, the system is messed up and I've gotten none of my 9 drinks counted yet. Must be that good if everyone else is waiting patiently for these drinks. The menu consist of different brewed teas, in which some contain milk or creama. Some comes iced or blended. They also have other toppings such as boba/pearls and jelly to be added to your drink. So many different combinations that it was so hard to choose! Only one size of drink is offered. I ordered the matcha green tea creama with pearls. When I first sip on the drink, I got a taste of the foamy creama that had a touch of sea salt flavor. Then it was the good quality of matcha tea and ended with the pearls. The pearls were perfectly soft and not too chewy like other places. The location is in a strip mall across from lakeside mall. Parking is shared and could be difficult to find a space on a busy day here. The service was great! As busy as they were, the employees seem calm, collective, and knew what they were doing. Overall experience: 10/10 -I love their milk tea with tapioca!! They ran out of the regular tapioca so I opted to the mini ones which were just as good! I added grass jelly in there too since I love grass jelly. It's great that they've opened up a location here even though I am no where near this location but I would drive 30 + min just to get some bubble tea here!
