The truly the best coffee shop with the SWEETEST employees! Everytime I come the same two guys are there. I got a wedding cake latte, brought it to my car and it spilt I went inside to get napkins and they gave me a towel. I brought the towel back in and there was a brand new drink for me. Cute and quaint little coffee shop with excellent service and super helpful staff. The atmosphere is soooooo cozy and welcoming. I love the fact that this is a great spot where can duck off to chill or maybe get some work done. Parking can be a bit of a challengeas its limited spots directlyin front of the store. I came for the matcha and quite pleased. The products used and the way everything is well-prepared is what will sell you in this place! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! read more

This place is very overhyped. The coffees actually suck, the espresso tastes burnt. The pastries are very underwhelming, we got a peach scone which just tasted like sugar and butter. The service was also a bummer. They don't have signs indicating what each pastry is so I had to ask and the guy seemed very annoyed. The inside is cute, just super tiny. Moxie is a cute, hole-in-the-wall coffee shop. It's not big enough for you to sit inside to study, but it can be a quick meet up spot for a chat with a friend. There are a few white tables outside to sit down. I mostly grab the drinks on the go before classes or a study session elsewhere. I always get the iced or frozen moxie. It is either as strong or little bit under a Vietnamese coffee, so IT IS PACKED WITH CAFFEINE! If I'm about to do an 6 hours long study session and don't want the huge crash of viet coffee, this is where I would go. It is strong enough to keep you going while having a sweet honey and brown sugar notes to it. I have been going over there for a year now and love their coffee! It is always good and consistent. There are other quick snacks, such as croissant and other pastries, and more drinks like matcha and tea, but I haven't had a chance to try it all out. There is always one worker working and it can get really packed in the morning, so please be kind and patience with them! Their drinks are well worth the wait! read more

Strawberry matcha is subtle sweet and lighter than most matcha lattes. Actually refreshing!!! Cute little shop that's easily missed if you don't know what you're looking for. Moxie is a small little upscale coffee shop that is to go orders only and it's owned by the hair salon next door to it in the same building. The barista is very knowledgeable and was able to make a flavored latte to my sweetness level without me having to add more cream or sugar which is very impressive to me. The coffee is from a local roaster in New Orleans and they create their own signature vanilla syrup in which they add to the drink I received called the Moxie latte. It has two shots of espresso, whole milk and their homemade vanilla syrup and it was delicious. My 16oz iced coffee cost me around $5.50 and they take both cash and credit card services. read more

Great little shop serving up quality espresso drinks! My husband and I had an iced lavender latte and the iced moxie. Both were really good! They make their syrups in house so no artificial flavoring. The shop is quite small so it can get crowded when busy. There's no seating inside but a few tables outside. Such an awesome small coffee shop that almost looks like a popup. I was talking to the barista a bit and he was telling me that it's associated with the shop next door! I tried the Moxie Latte. 1. Moxie Latte: Really delicious! I actually like how they mixed it like a bar drink. I got it with oat milk which was delicious. It's a bit sweeter than I'd like but strong coffee/caramel blend flavor. I have been wanting to try this place out. I tried to come on Saturday, but they close at 3:00 and I made it there at 3:20, so I just missed them. Sunday worked out though - I made it there in time after my errands. They are a tiny little place off of Metairie Road, just about across the street from Puccinos. Parking is limited. There are about 2-3 parking spots right in front that are shared with the salon, Glow. Since I came on Sunday, I thankfully had no trouble with the parking as most things are closed Sundays. They have a small walk-up counter where you order. They offer drinks and desserts. When I came, there were only cake pops left, but it looked like they may have had pastries earlier. I ordered my go to drink - an iced latte. It was good. I took it to go as it was a chilly day and I had places to be. They do have about 5 tables in front with chairs and umbrellas if you did want to hang out there. Be sure to get the frequent buyer punch card! I like when places do that. read more

Love this little pocket of coffee off Metairie road. It's easily become one of my favorite coffee shops in town. The coffee is impeccable and the service is fast and friendly. I go before work and I'm in and out within 60 seconds. Love their seasonal flavors (king cake during Mardi Gras and their wedding cake right now is so freakin good). Highly recommend! read more

I develop new stores for a national coffee chain, but when I travel I like to try local places. So trust me when I say the coffee is great. Ordered a large iced Moxie half sweet and it was perfect. Probably would've been too sweet otherwise. Really small shop, great aesthetic, friendly service. Premium prices, but not out of line with the market these days. read more

I've been coming here for almost two years now. The coffee is the best in town, and I drive out of my way just to get this on the weekends as a treat. Everyone loves the moxie, but they also have the best sugar free lattes as well. The guys are always amazing. Tito (one of the baristas) told me that the truck came one morning and didn't deliver any sugar free syrups. So he went out of his way and drove to get some because he said he knew I was coming in today. If that's not perfect service, I don't know what is. This Old Hollywood styled Small Coffeeshop is truly aesthetic. I love the blush pink interior with the monochromatic black and white theme. The vanity lights are a really nice touch and the menu is eclectic yet simple. This place has a minimalistic menu with limited food items. If great coffee and tea are what you like without too much of the extras, then add Moxie to your favorites list. It's tucked away between a beauty salon and a lash shop. The parking is very limited as it is a shared lot, but the service and love put into each drink makes it worth the walk and the wait. Please be patient when it comes to ordering, usually there is only one person working. He is so sweet and kind. He let me freestyle a Chai Matcha Latte, which he was excited to make. He even made it look aesthetically pleasing for me to enjoy. I have also tried the Moxie Latte. Of course, I had to add a few more sweeteners to my liking. If I had to add to this beautifully crafted coffeeshop, I would make it bigger, add more food items, and even more local/seasonal drinks flavors. Such a cute and tiny coffee shop right off Metairie Rd! The aesthetic is adorable and perfect to grab a quick coffee and go. This is not the place if you are looking to stay and hang around though, no indoor seating and only two outdoor tables. This isn't a problem for me because I don't hang at coffee shops but good for others to know. I have been here three times and have liked some drinks and hated others! The first drink was the cookies and cream iced coffee which was delicious! Not too sweet and has chunks of Oreos! The hibiscus milk tea was okay, nothing special. The king cake latte was terrible. The king cake syrup sunk to the bottom as you can see in the picture and wouldn't mix. It was super thick and not pleasant to drink up. This drink needs a little work. read more

I just died and went to coffee heaven! First of all, I'm always a hot coffee drinker but it's hot as heck outside so I decided to try the MOXIE with oat milk. It's literally love in your mouth. The perfect blend of coffee and sweet. The barista was extraordinarily nice (recognized me from a previous place) and made sure to make the drink exactly how I like it. Not too sweet but not to not. An aesthetically pleasing coffee shop with drinks that are actually yummy and great customer service, um sign me up! I've been here twice so far and each time I love it more. The employees do wear mask (yay a plus), they're really nice about having small conversations or just greeting you. I don't think the prices are bad for the type of coffee shop they are going for. My matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla was like $6 something for 16oz. I haven't tried their coffee yet but it's next on my list. The only down fall is the parking situation is terrible. They don't have any parking spots right by the building so you have to park down the street, sometimes pretty far. But, I wouldn't let that be a detriment, just a heads up if you can't walk far. read more
