So, I've given this place multiple tries since they first opened. Honestly, it never impressed me because it simply didn't fit my taste. Also, there were multiple times when I came when they were out of a lot of items, so the menu was extremely limited. I decided to give them another try recently, and it wasn't as bad as the past visits. The avocado yogurt boba slush is always a good go-to, as it's made with real avocados. I believe they curate the majority of their drinks with fresh fruits. I also had the lychee cheese tea. I'm not a big fan of cheese teas but it wasn't bad. It's a tad salty but not too overpowering. Too bad they don't have an option without the cheese. The staff are usually kind. The shop is well lit from the natural sunlight. There's a cute decorated wall and seats for pictures. They share a parking lot with other businesses in the same complex. Sometimes, it's hard to find a parking spot, and they're a little tight. Is it my favorite boba shop in the Metairie area? No, but they do have a few drinks that the nearby shops don't offer. So it'll be the right stop when those drinks are craved.
Follow tea is a great boba spot. They have games and comfortable seating. It was quiet when we went and the employee really was patient and explained the different orders, super sweet. But the drink was great. About 6 and tax. Ordered the brown sugar milk tea. My mom ordered the blueberry yogurt slush and it was soooooo good. Def getting that next time!
If you like fresh fruit and teas this is great. Very fresh and they use real fruit. Request no sugar and it already had sweetness in the drink. Lots of variety for fruit which is great and all real. Boba was decent too.

They fresh squeeze all their juices for the teas right in front of you. It was a hot day so I was aiming for something refreshing. Went with the very orange fruit tea. Had fresh squeezed orange juice and whole sliced orange pieces. It was very refreshing. Whatever the tea was kinda had like some floral flavors. Being that I'm not big on tea I don't know that I would go out of my way to come here, but I'll definitely stop by if I happen to be in the area.
Good boba spot, lots of flavors. I got the creame brûlée milk tea with boba and was not too sweet. The boba topping was okay.
The aesthetic of this place is beautiful! The fresh flowers, fruit and decorated wall are the first things you'll notice when you walk into this new boba tea spot. They still had their seasonal cherry cheese tea so I decided to give it a try. Their teas are made with fresh fruits and fruit juices so it takes a few minutes to make your drink, but it's worth the wait. I was a little confused about how I was supposed to consume the drink since it has the sweet cheese on top, but they put an informative sticker on top letting your know how to sip to get both the tea and the cheese on top. The cherry cheese tea was delicious. The tea was refreshing and the cheese topping was creamy and not as thick as I anticipated. The boba were sweet and chewy.
Not a fan of the cheese foam but I would sell my soul for a croffle. Super cute place with friendly staff.
I was really excited to try this boba shop because of the good reviews. The shop itself had good music and looks very clean. I ordered the Matcha Strawberry Slush on 10/30 but the people working that day made the drinks horribly. My slush was not even a slush more like a melted matcha which i was upset about. They were very cheap on the strawberry, boba, and the drink itself. Most likely won't be coming here again as there are many other different dessert places that will give u more for your money.
Follow Tea has some really fresh bubble tea which is especially great for the summer time! I tried the Lychee Rose Cheese Tea and all of the layers of the drink were made really well. I'm normally not a fan of cheese bubble tea, but the "cheese" on top wasn't too sweet and really complimented the tea well and Follow Tea did a great job of making it!
I ordered one of their popular drinks, the lychee rose cheese foam drink with less sugar (75%). At first I didn't understand how it was popular but got it because lychee! They use real lychee and aloe in the drink which is a plus in my book. The tea is also worth as in, it's very potent. There's no noticeable use of powder in flavoring etc that some places use. The cheese foam is done very well. I'd be down to go back again. As someone from the 626 area, I would definitely recommend this place lol but it is basically similar pricing for something of this quality in the Los Angeles Area.
This is probably my favorite boba spot in all of nola they're drinks are so fresh (especially their fruit teas where they actually use fresh fruit!!. Their golden boba is also by far the best boba texture I've found in the entire city. It's chewy with the perfect texture and resistance and the perfect amount of sweet. I like to get my drinks 50% sweet only because I tend to like things less sweet. My personal fav is the green grape fruit tea! The interior is also super cute and there's tables to sit down in (although they don't have wifi yet so maybe not for studying). The staff are always super sweet though! This is def a staple for me and my friends
I'm a huge fan of tea in general. Hot, cold, sweet, savory... I love em all. I didn't know about Follow Tea. Was out running errands and noticed it. Stopped in and asked cashier for his recommendation. He suggested the Lychee Rose Cheese Tea. The tea was refreshing, delicious and very satisfying. I was weary about the cheese part but it was really good. The cheese tasted like orange slices in my opinion. If you're a fan of fruit , milk based or boba tea you should definitely head over to Follow Tea.
Follow Tea is a bubble tea place my friend and I went to in Metairie, LA. It is spacious inside with a clean, modern design. One thing that sets Follow Tea apart from other bubble tea places I've been to previously, is that they offer cheese as the foamy part of your tea. They also offer a variety of fruit and milk teas. I was intrigued by the cheese, so I got the Lychee Rose Cheese Tea. This is made using cream cheese, the same type of cheese that cheesecake is made of. This is actually traditionally a Taiwanese method of making bubble tea. My friend got the Passionfruit Tea without the cheese. My Lychee Rose Cheese Tea arrived beautifully presented. The cup was made of sturdy, frosted plastic. On top there were some dried roses. This was so tasty! I loved the flavor, it was subtly sweet, and the cheese provided a slight savory balance. The tiny pieces of lychee were an added chewy bonus. My friend also enjoyed her Passionfruit tea. I wish we had some bubble tea places that offered the cheese foam, here in Connecticut, maybe I'll have to look a bit harder. We had a lovely time at Follow Tea, and enjoyed their tasty products. read more

Happened upon this place while in the area. It's pretty cute with a minimalist feel on the inside. I like to true something I've never had whenever I go to new spots so I opted for a crème brûlée boba milk tea. It's different but good. Has a custard in it so they kind of throws me off but I would order again. The cashier was really helpful. read more

This place has the cutest decor! I ordered the Cocoa Bobo Slush & it was delicious! Can't wait to try more flavors! The staff was super nice & answered any questions I had about drinks & were even kind enough to name drinks from their Instagram! Will definitely be back! read more
This place is aesthetically pleasing for sure! I was drawn in when I saw the creme brulee boba because I love things on fire. They have two options for the drink though and I got milk tea. The boba has a hint of sweetness and the milk tea is delicious. It wasn't overly sweet which is a great thing. The creme brulee was fun to watch too! There is a cute wall to take your photos with too. It says follow tea, follow me! I will need to do a dairy free version next time though! read more
I have to have my boba fix every few days, so I was really happy to find such a cute boba shop when my boyfriend and I were visiting New Orleans. One of our friends who lives near Metairie introduced us to this place. If you don't want your typical kung fu tea or sharetea if you're in the area then you can try out Follow Tea. It was a very cute shop that was well decorated and had plenty of seating. My friend said they redecorate every so often as well. They also sell croffles if you're looking for something to eat. I got a blueberry yogurt that came with crystal boba. It was part of the secret menu (which they have next to the register). It was pretty good and was made with real blueberries. You can see the blueberry pieces in the drink. read more
3 months later, the staff is still nice and quick. The decorum is still nice and trendy like before. When I came back to Follow Tea today, I decided to get a different drink then before; so, I ordered the Passionfruit Coco Tea that already included golden boba and coconut jelly ($6.00)...best decision ever! I feel like this is one of the best fruit teas I've tried in the Metairie area. The sizing was just right and the drink had a strong passionfruit taste to it (in a good way). To make things better, the staff offered me a FREE Golden Roasted Cheese Tea as a way to celebrate their 2 year anniversary. It was so good! There was gold foil on the top of the drink, which made it look so fancy. You could definitely taste the milk-cheese flavor in the tea, as it blended well with the milk tea drink. The boba was very warm, so it was definitely made fresh. Follow Tea didn't disappoint this time, and I hope to see them succeed once more in the near future! First time visiting during their grand opening. Took about an hour to get our drinks because it was so crowded which I anticipated, but orders were ready out of order. Anywho we ordered the Sakura Milk Tea for my toddler he loved the aesthetic but said it tasted like milk and nothing else lol what does he know. I tried the brûlée milk tea which was good but I quickly realized egg pudding is not for me but the boba was super soft and sweet. My sister had the brown sugar milk tea with boba she didn't like it but finished it. We were trying something new but all in all the place is clean and cute. Visited Follow Tea for the first time. It's located in the same plaza as my nail salon! The staff are polite and made my order quickly. I've been here 3 times in the last month and this place does not miss. A very creative menu and a gorgeous interior. My favorite has to be the Lychee Rose Cheese Tea and the Strawberry Cheese Tea. Their teas aren't too sweet and the cheese foam is delicious. Definitely add the golden boba. I thought it would be like popping boba, but instead its like traditional boba but lighter and fruitier! Definitely out favorite place to go for bubble tea when in town now. read more

after trying at least 8 boba shops in the area, my best friend and i decided to make follow tea our regular shop. i don't always like people's boba but follow tea's is absolutely delicious every time. the employees are soooo sweet as well and the inside of the place is adorable read more

I hadn't been back since but I will say I'm so happy I tried them again. They have some of the more unique drinks of any of the boba places in the New Orleans area and the staff is friendly too! In love with their brown sugar milk tea - I get it half sweet and find that it's perfect. The boba is always warm and soft with the right amount of gumminess (my favorite texture)! There's a ton of construction around the area which is annoying, but they have a decent parking lot and cute decor inside. read more

Was craving boba and wanted to try a new place, so I stopped by. I usually drink cheese foam with regular tea like rose or peach tea, but this time I wanted to try something different. So I got the rose lychee fruit tea with cheese foam. Surprisingly the rose lychee fruit tea went really well with the cheese foam. The sweetness of the rose lychee complimented the cheese foam giving it a nice sweet and savory mix. 10/10 would recommend trying this and I would definitely come back to try the other fruit tea with cheese foam options. read more
Came by a few days after their soft opening. I had my first and best tasting rose teas every when I were in California so when I checked out their menu, I was excited to try their rose lychee cheese tea. The drink taste good with the cheese foam but really didn't have the taste of rose I was looking for. We ordered 5 drinks in total, and it took them way too long to just have it made with four or five workers behind the counter. We were their only customers. My sister and our friend had the fruit tea and they both didn't like their tea because both mentioned that first sip was sweet but afterwards, it was very sour. I understand that they are fairly new so hope they will get it right as time goes by. I do want to mention that I really didn't like the sarcastic reply from the owner when I were inquiring about if they also serve coffee. He basically made a remark that this is a tea place, why would they have coffee. I could have just walk off without placing my order and remind him that ShareTea is just down the other street and they sell tea and coffee also! If that's how the owner speaks to their customers, I rather take my business somewhere else. read more

Coming from Dallas, TX I was desperately looking for boba in NOLA. We found this spot and we are so happy we did. The inside of the shop was clean and very stylish and the drinks were refreshing. I highly recommend their fruit tea section - I had their jasmine lime tea and it was great. read more
