For…read moredrinks, I ordered the Au Lait "Milk Tea on Fire" ($6.75), the Galaxy ($6.25), and the Lychee Strawberry Rose Tea ($6.25). First of all, the Au Lait "Milk Tea on Fire" was so delicious! It's basically a Brown Sugar Milk Tea, but the taste was so rich and flavorful. They also used real brown sugar for this drink, so the authenticity was on par! In my opinion, this drink is better than Ding Tea's Monster Boba Tea. This drink is actually on Tiger Sugar's Black Sugar Milk Tea level to be honest with all of you. For the Galaxy, this drink had a sweet and sour taste to it (in a good way). It took me a while to get used to the flavor since it was different from what I usually drink. It's more of a soda based drink due to the carbonation I tasted, but overall I enjoyed it. I would drink this during a hot day (which is almost everyday in Louisiana haha). For the Lychee Strawberry Rose Tea, this drink had a refreshing taste. It wasn't overly sweet, but the strawberry taste was highly noticeable. As for the lychee part, I didn't really notice it when I drank this tea. This drink was just okay to me, but not bad at all. I should also mention that their cheesecakes tasted really good! I got their Matcha Cheesecake Slice ($6.50) and their Bischoff Cookie Cheesecake Slice ($6.50). They were both so creamy and soft. The decor was simple and clean, yet also a bit trendy at the same time. They have some board games available for customers to play with as well. The owner of this Boba shop was really welcoming and nice when I came in. Thé Au Lait is definitely a hidden gem in the West Bank, but I hope to see them succeed as soon as possible!

One thing that sets Follow Tea apart from other bubble tea places I've been to previously, is that they offer cheese as the foamy part of your tea. They also offer a variety of fruit and milk teas. I was intrigued by the cheese, so I got the Lychee Rose Cheese Tea. This is made using cream cheese, the same type of cheese that cheesecake is made of. This is actually traditionally a Taiwanese method of making bubble tea. My friend got the Passionfruit Tea without the cheese. My Lychee Rose Cheese Tea arrived beautifully presented. The cup was made of sturdy, frosted plastic. On top there were some dried roses. This was so tasty! I loved the flavor, it was subtly sweet, and the cheese provided a slight savory balance. The tiny pieces of lychee were an added chewy bonus. My friend also enjoyed her Passionfruit tea. I wish we had some bubble tea places that offered the cheese foam, here in Connecticut, maybe I'll have to look a bit harder. We had a lovely time at Follow Tea, and enjoyed their tasty products.

I only recently had bubble tea for the first time, but now I can't get enough. I got the mango passionfruit tea with lychee jellies and mango popping boba. It was super yummy, but I forgot to ask if they can adjust the sweetness here like you can at some other places. I didn't think that it was overly sweet, but a little less would have been perfect for me. They have milk teas, jasmine fruit teas, coffee, and smoothies. The shop is quiet and quaint, nestled into a small shopping center. I was the only person in the shop when I went, so I'm not sure it's ever super busy, but you should def check it out in you're in the area.

Food: Everything we tried was good as fuck. If you're into Asian snacks and street-food style bites, this place is definitely worth checking out. The food came out fresh, packed with flavor, and had us reaching for the next bite before we finished the first one. Simple food done right. Service: The staff was friendly and welcoming. Orders came out quickly and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. Ambiance: It's a small joint, but that's part of the appeal. Casual, laid-back, and focused on the food. Nothing fancy, just a cool spot to grab something different and enjoy it. Overall: Yum Tra is a hidden gem in Harvey. The space itself lacks a little character when it comes to the interior design and ambiance for being in New Orleans. It's more like mainstream trendy coffee shop style rather especially cozy or comforting. There are two outdoor tables. The inside is pretty large which is nice, not too crowded either. Their food case could also use some attention (things like the biscuits being displayed cold make them look almost like pretend food and an empty case can be a little off-putting visually.) That being said, the service and the quality of their espresso and matcha drinks make up for it.

The gentleman that was making our drinks didn't really seem like he wanted to be there and wasn't as friendly as the others. We love Asian inspired flavors like pandan and ube and this place had it all! There were so many innovative and unique ice cream flavors like Vietnamese coffee, lychee, pandan coconut, etc. It was a little overwhelming at first because there was just so many desserts and drinks to choose from! They also had cafe drinks and we ordered a few to try! I had the banana pudding matcha latte and it's honestly one of the better matcha lattes I've had. There were scoops of banana pudding in the matcha both on the bottom and top. Each sip had that delicious banana flavor (not artificial) along with the matcha. It wasn't too sweet and banana goes extremely well with the matcha. My SIL had the lavender matcha latte and she enjoyed it as well. Lavender can overpower alot of flavors if not done right and they did it right here! The flavors were balanced well without it being too floral. My husband had the latte with pandan cream foam and what he loved about it was that he can taste the pandan flavor. Pandan is a very light and delicate flavor so it can get a bit muddled with other flavors. I tried it and the pandan's flavor was bold and bright. Mixed with the espresso and milk and it was creamy and delicious. We also got three cookies to try: Vietnamese coffee, ube, and pandan coconut. The cookies were about $5 a pop but they were so worth it! They were all huge and jam stuffed with either chocolate chips, coconut, or white chocolate chips! I am literally still dreaming about the cookies! My favorite cookie was probably the pandan coconut one but the ube and Vietnamese coffee one were close. The Vietnamese coffee cookie was good but the flavor of the coffee could be stronger. I do appreciate how rich and decadent each cookie was and I will absolutely come back just for the cookies haha. They had a bunch of different and unique flavors too! We also got some ice cream to try. My husband had the pandan coconut and SIL got the cream cheese red velvet. They know how to make their ice cream right that's for sure. The flavors were like a punch to your face (in a good way) and we all agreed that they were both delicious. I'm knocking one star off because the service could be a little friendlier. Can't wait to come back and try more desserts off their menu (they had cakes, macarons, etc.).
