    The Galaxy ($6.25) + Aloe Vera ($0.75) = $7.00
    Ryan N.

This place is so underrated! They just opened last February, but deserve so much more love! For drinks, I ordered the Au Lait "Milk Tea on Fire" ($6.75), the Galaxy ($6.25), and the Lychee Strawberry Rose Tea ($6.25). First of all, the Au Lait "Milk Tea on Fire" was so delicious! It's basically a Brown Sugar Milk Tea, but the taste was so rich and flavorful. They also used real brown sugar for this drink, so the authenticity was on par! In my opinion, this drink is better than Ding Tea's Monster Boba Tea. This drink is actually on Tiger Sugar's Black Sugar Milk Tea level to be honest with all of you. For the Galaxy, this drink had a sweet and sour taste to it (in a good way). It took me a while to get used to the flavor since it was different from what I usually drink. It's more of a soda based drink due to the carbonation I tasted, but overall I enjoyed it. I would drink this during a hot day (which is almost everyday in Louisiana haha). For the Lychee Strawberry Rose Tea, this drink had a refreshing taste. It wasn't overly sweet, but the strawberry taste was highly noticeable. As for the lychee part, I didn't really notice it when I drank this tea. This drink was just okay to me, but not bad at all. I should also mention that their cheesecakes tasted really good! I got their Matcha Cheesecake Slice ($6.50) and their Bischoff Cookie Cheesecake Slice ($6.50). They were both so creamy and soft. The decor was simple and clean, yet also a bit trendy at the same time. They have some board games available for customers to play with as well. The owner of this Boba shop was really welcoming and nice when I came in. Thé Au Lait is definitely a hidden gem in the West Bank, but I hope to see them succeed as soon as possible!

Was in the area on the Westbank and decided to stop in and give this place a try. The service was fast and the person working the front counter was really pleasant. I didn't get a chance to pack pictures of the drinks but we had the Lychee Strawberry Rose Tea and the Royal Thai Tea. Both were really good, but I really liked the fact that the rose tea came with real strawberries. It's very cute and cozy in the building and it's perfect if you need somewhere to catch up on reading or maybe Nextflix. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

Service was very quick. I liked how clean the interior was and i could see it as a really cute place to hang out with friends. The drinks were super good, I got the brown sugar while my boyfriend got the strawberry matcha. I preferred the brown sugar over his drink though. I could see myself coming here again!

I would give a 3.5 rating if it was an option. This place is definitely underrated. It's fairly new, and it seems like most people don't even know it's open. It's located in a corner, so if you weren't really looking for it, then, you'd probably wouldn't see it. There is a variety on the menu, along with desserts. The peach oolong tea was very refreshing. I've had the Strawberry Matcha Latte twice, and this time, it disappointed. There was too much matcha powder and not enough strawberry. However, it was great when I had it the first time. The Thai Milk Green Tea was pretty good; I would get this one again. It's a clean and nice environment to hang out with your friends and catch up. I would recommend trying it at least once.

One of the better boba shops around. The typical atmosphere of boba shops. Service was friendly. The drinks weren't too sweet.

Desserts were good and they have bursting bobaaaa for their toppings!!! Personally the strawberry matcha latte was more bitter than expected so next time I would get it sweeter, but the lychee strawberry rose tea was superbbb

Love this place. I love Thai tea and hate having to go to a full service restaurant to get it so finding this place was life and gas saving. The cashier, I'm sure the owner, is such a hard worker and is patient. The shake machine ensures that the drinks are fully mixed which I LOVE! it's cool to watch. There's so many topping options to choose from. I've gone multiple times in the last week - only taking pictures on the most recent visit. In the short time, I racked up enough points to receive discounts so that is a great incentive to return even more. It's nice that when you pay with a card, the system will automatically award points during the next visit since it recognizes that the card belongs to your number ( after you sign up). The cafe has a few mixed smells. There's a eucalyptus candle burning coupled with coffee and powders. There's nice seating tables inside and benches outside so that you can relax while waiting for the drink or hang out with friends. It's rarely packed which makes it a good place to connect to wifi and get some work done. She offers happy hour for the last hour where desserts are discounted. Now to review the beverages that I've had. The Royal thai tea - Great, traditional thai tea. Not too sweet. Mango passion tea- a bit on the unsweetened side but can request it be sweetened. Did not have a strong mango taste. Peach mango green tea - I believe that I was given peach oolong since she hadn't made a sticker or option in her ordering system for the new addition to the menu. It was not good. Didn't taste like mango at all- which I'm sure again is because it was not the tea I ordered- and was bland like lightly flavored water. Piña colada - not as good as what I would get on an island or a restaurant but you get a lot for the price and it holds up well if you freeze it and then slowly defrost and drink it later Lyche coconut - soooo good! So sweet with that expected lychee taste. I am a fan of lychee, rambutan and other fruits of the sort. If you haven't tried them or don't like them, this isn't the drink for you.

It was excellent and the vibe is chill. Will be back here soon. The price is good and they have lots of drink n cake choices for you. Come check this out.

Anyways for Easter she asked everyone what they liked my brother specifically told her cars , and she got him Psoriasis shampoo as a GIFT ?????? while others got art set , makeup , etc. told him she got him the shampoo to take off for 2 weeks until he gets his condition under control. Mind you he sees a doctor on his own as he gets treated for this . She claims she got him this because it was a "health hazard" rather than asking him to get a hairnet or at least providing it for them. It wasn't a health hazard when she first hired him so why after 2 months of him working she decides to tell my brother to take off. She also proceeded to tell another employee "it was a health hazard and it could be getting into toppings and drinks so she told him to go home till it gets fixed if she sees improvement he can comeback if not, she have to keep trying???? with him. she said she swept it up and showed my brother, and she called his condition "snowflakes". Psoriasis is not contagious and poses no direct health hazard to coworkers in a workplace. On top of that disgusting idea of a gift she asked another employee in front of my brother if he was slow. Was also told the other employees are allowed to take small breaks when the room is empty meanwhile she always gives my brother more tasks than others. She also sends them home for small stupid reasons one of them being her messing up a drink and blaming it on them and when told to look back at the cameras she throws a tantrum and sends them home mid shift. She also texted him i'm a vicitm in this situation apology which I will have attatched. This is cross posted everywhere and will reach many people as I can reach.

She implied I was dumb for asking if I could modify drinks. Every boba shop is different; the modifications I asked were minimal and normal. Most boba shops will allow it but she acted rudely and condescending as though I should've known and it was obvious. If she didn't allow modifications, that's fine. I would expect a professional reply/explanation that it could not be done at her establishment but that didn't happen. I ended up ordering multiple gallons of drinks for the party but instead of confirming my order after the back and forth, she just wanted money. I waited over a day for her to finally confirm my order. The average food/beverage store would confirm the order before asking for payment but the owner was backwards. Misunderstandings through text about the different drinks can happen so I thought confirmation was obvious. Customer service by owner/manager was horrific .

And being next to one of the best international markets in Greater New Orleans? Yeah... it's a whole experience. I started coming here about 7 years ago, and my go-to back then was the Vietnamese coffee with boba jelly. Fell in love instantly. Then one day I wanted to switch it up, and the owner--who I've seen consistently since day one--put me on to honeydew with watermelon and condensed milk. BABY... that became my order for a whole year. So this visit, I came in on the same type of timing, wanting something new. And just like that, she recommended strawberry with coconut. Let me tell you... she knows BALL. The flavor is creamy, smooth, and gives strawberry Blue Bell ice cream vibes in the best way. Their boba is always consistent. Texture on point, flavors on point. Never a miss. They also have bánh mì--basically a Vietnamese po-boy--and I'm almost certain the bread is from Dong Phuong. If you know, you know. I usually get the roasted sweet pork with extra pâté because that pâté? Chef's kiss every single time. Random memory but I remember catching them at NOLA Night Market years ago and that lemongrass chicken had my husband hooked. I'm still waiting on that comeback! They went fully takeout after COVID and are on DoorDash, but I noticed the boba teas aren't listed. Honestly, I get it... they don't hold up the same sitting around. Staff is always kind, service is smooth, and the quality never slipped in all these years. This is a no-brainer for me. I'll always come back--and I'm always trying something new. I always recommend the Banana with Matcha

A lot of drinks even a veggie option with avocado so I don't think you can go wrong. Take a little trip to the taste of Vietnam. We were across the river and I found this spot via Mapquest. It is a small, quaint, hole-in-the-wall type place. Limited selection but everything looked delicious. She even offers a bag of doggie treats! Though Eclair is in the title, they didn't have any available when we went. However, I was easily talked into trying the creme brûlée crepe cake as a substitute for the eclair. We left out of there with half dozen macaroons, a gold encrusted oreo cupcake, the crepe cake slice, and a bag of doggie treats. The macaroons are simply delicious, flavorful and colorful. The oreo cupcake was a hit, and devoured quickly. My son and I split the crepe cake and it was surprisingly light. I wasn't sure what to expect with the multiple layers but was delightfully thrilled with the taste. And true to form, it had the torched sugar crusted topping. Definitely worth returning for more. Aladdin also devoured his doggie treat with gusto. One thing to note, the crepe cakes have to be ordered ahead of time and purchased whole. We were fortunate to have been able to sample a slice. I will definitely be placing an order soon. Overall, a superb find and well worth the trip. I will be returning.
