    The Vietnamese Refresher ($5.50)
    Ryan N.

I came back again to try different drinks from last time. Service was awesome again as usual! I got their seasonal Mardi Gras Taro Slush with Boba ($5.50 + $0.50 for extra Whip Cream + $0.50 for Boba) and their Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Boba ($5.50 + $0.50 for Boba). I really liked the Mardi Gras Taro Slush! The extra sweetness from the colored King Cake sugar & whip cream added more creaminess to the Taro drink. The Brown Sugar Milk Tea was just okay in my opinion; nothing too special, but still not bad. I also tried their Roti with Condensed Milk ($5.00) & Coconut Waffle ($4.50). I always get Roti whenever I go to a Thai restaurant, so I wanted to give it a try here too. It was pretty good. Same as the ones in different Thai restaurants, so no complaints on that part! Their Coconut Waffle was decent, but I wished it was crunchier and more rich in flavor. As always, the prices here are very reasonable. They also decorated the inside to match up with Lunar New Year since the holiday is coming soon...the decor looks so cute! I would definitely come back again. Their Roti with Peanut Sauce sounds good, so I'll probably try that the next time I come back!

I love that Belle Chasse has a tapioca drink place now! I love these and am so excited that I don't have to go out of my way to get one now, although it's probably dangerous how close it is to me too. I got the Thai tea drink because I feel like these are pretty standard everywhere I go and is my measure of how good a place is. It's got the right amount of sweetness, but the Huy coffee was a bit strong, I wouldn't mind if it was a little sweeter. I was surprised that they offered some food; I'll have to come back another time to try a crepe. Personally, I wish they had more options for coffee but I think they have a pretty good selection and plenty of different drinks to try!

I'm pretty basic when it comes to boba. I will get taro, green tea/matcha, or an avocado smoothie most of the time. I really like their Taro here. It's kind of addicting. Definitely my go-to spot now since it's closer than others. Thank you Tea Bar for fostering my taro addiction. The taro here is much more taro-y here. I dont know what it was once it melted down a little bit, it was almost like you can taste the actual taro. Even if it wasn't the actual taro, I loved it. Workers are nice and the place is super clean. Highly recommend trying it out.

The drinks were good. Taiyaki waffles were cute and tasted excellent. It was cool to know that they use real fruits for their slush drinks. The place has plenty of games to play with while waiting. Had plenty of handmade crochets items for purchase.

The ambience here is great! I love the aesthetics. The customer service is great as well; everyone is so nice and welcoming. I have a couple favorites, but my top ones would be the Thai Green Milk Tea and the Huy Coffee! As for the food, the Taiyaki Pepperoni is my favorite!

I loveeee tea bar. Their roti with peanut sauce is so addicting. The Fiancé loves to order the savory crepes. He's a big fan. The staff are super friendly and the environment is just so warming. It's a clean facility. Plenty of parking spaces and is located in a strip center.

A lovely, comfortable place to relax and enjoy a refreshing tea. Excellent selection of tea and milk concoctions, sweet and savory crepe options, and a smattering of other refreshments. We like that they have some games to play while you relax and enjoy

Green Milk Tea w/ tapioca & Bacon n' Nutella crepe
    Vina H.

8 dollars crepe? Yes please! Not only were the crepes fresh but it was crispy! I asked for a bacon and Nutella, although it wasn't on the menu and they served it to me anyways. The crepe couldn't be more perfect and affordable compared to Crepe A La Cart for a soggy one. The drinks were so good, I had the green milk tea with tapioca and my partner got a mango slush. I basically drank both drinks since they were both delicious. The tapioca was SO SOFT. Softest boba I've ever chewed on. But that's how I prefer my boba. Did not disappoint. I usually don't write reviews but this was worth one.

    Brown Sugar Milk Tea

The food was amazing. My first visit I had the Nutella milk tea 10/10. Then, I had the brown sugar milk tea, once again 10/10. Service was AMAZING !!! They make you feel so comfortable. Very very patient individuals, and the vibe is just there.

Yum Tra -- 4 Okay…read morefirst things first... BABY when I say options?? OPTIONS. The menu is LONG. Like you really need a minute. Sitting in that drive-thru, I was going back and forth with myself because everything looked good. I was this close to getting the Very Berry Matcha, and that Honeydew Melon and Pineapple?? Whew... that was a STRONG contender for me. But I ended up going with the Peach Colada and I'm not mad at it at all. It gave smoothie vibes, fruity, nicely sweetened, and the texture? That's what stood out to me. Smooth. Not clumpy. Not thick in a weird way. I didn't have to shake it up or fight with it like some boba drinks do. It was just right. Now let's talk about my son, the real boba critic in this house He got the Panda Boba with pandan jelly and matcha crème cold foam. And when I say I took a sip and immediately got jealous?? Yeah. It had this caramel coffee type vibe going on. Super good. He loved it too, but they forgot the matcha cold foam, and that dropped his rating. And listen, we take our ratings serious in this house lol. They do serve food, which we didn't try this time. Everything is made to order, so that did slow the line down a little because the car in front of us ordered food. Honestly though, I didn't mind because I needed that extra time to figure out what I wanted anyway. Now the only real downside for me outside of the missing cold foam... That drive-thru. It's tight. Like you can tell people be struggling pulling out of there. Definitely one of those drive careful type situations. Overall though, I'll definitely be back. The quality is there, the flavors are there, and I still got my eye on that Honeydew Melon and Pineapple. Yum Tra, you got me coming back for round two

And being next to one of the best international markets in Greater New Orleans? Yeah... it's a whole experience. I started coming here about 7 years ago, and my go-to back then was the Vietnamese coffee with boba jelly. Fell in love instantly. Then one day I wanted to switch it up, and the owner--who I've seen consistently since day one--put me on to honeydew with watermelon and condensed milk. BABY... that became my order for a whole year. So this visit, I came in on the same type of timing, wanting something new. And just like that, she recommended strawberry with coconut. Let me tell you... she knows BALL. The flavor is creamy, smooth, and gives strawberry Blue Bell ice cream vibes in the best way. Their boba is always consistent. Texture on point, flavors on point. Never a miss. They also have bánh mì--basically a Vietnamese po-boy--and I'm almost certain the bread is from Dong Phuong. If you know, you know. I usually get the roasted sweet pork with extra pâté because that pâté? Chef's kiss every single time. Random memory but I remember catching them at NOLA Night Market years ago and that lemongrass chicken had my husband hooked. I'm still waiting on that comeback! They went fully takeout after COVID and are on DoorDash, but I noticed the boba teas aren't listed. Honestly, I get it... they don't hold up the same sitting around. Staff is always kind, service is smooth, and the quality never slipped in all these years. This is a no-brainer for me. I'll always come back--and I'm always trying something new. I always recommend the Banana with Matcha

Lots cilantro and jalapeño it's a really good sandwich. Overall, I recommend if you haven't tried one might as well try Mr. bubbles. We have about six sandwich options. A lot of drinks even a veggie option with avocado so I don't think you can go wrong. Take a little trip to the taste of Vietnam. Try Mr. bubbles you'll be happy you did if not it was a good adventure. The service was fast and friendly, and the ambience was your typical sandwich shop with a little bit of Asian flair. Don't forget to stop by Hong Kong market while you're there it's an adventure in its own.

We were across the river and I found this spot via Mapquest. It is a small, quaint, hole-in-the-wall type place. Limited selection but everything looked delicious. She even offers a bag of doggie treats! Though Eclair is in the title, they didn't have any available when we went. However, I was easily talked into trying the creme brûlée crepe cake as a substitute for the eclair. We left out of there with half dozen macaroons, a gold encrusted oreo cupcake, the crepe cake slice, and a bag of doggie treats. The macaroons are simply delicious, flavorful and colorful. The oreo cupcake was a hit, and devoured quickly. My son and I split the crepe cake and it was surprisingly light. I wasn't sure what to expect with the multiple layers but was delightfully thrilled with the taste. And true to form, it had the torched sugar crusted topping. Definitely worth returning for more. Aladdin also devoured his doggie treat with gusto. One thing to note, the crepe cakes have to be ordered ahead of time and purchased whole. We were fortunate to have been able to sample a slice. I will definitely be placing an order soon. Overall, a superb find and well worth the trip. I will be returning.
