But one thing that is more true than the Bermuda triangle is the Baton Rouge Bridge Crossing traffic back up. Now usually I do the farm market Road north of Baton Rouge to avoid it but today I needed to go this way. The I-10/I-12/110 Triangle maybe? And I knew that my first stop would be French Truck location. I wanted coffee for the rest of my trip as I am traveling with my brewing equipment. I sampled their Festin, and their single source, Kenya, and Ethiopia and I decided to get a bag of the Ethiopia because it has that profound blueberry flavor profile that I like in small doses, thinking it was be a perfect coffee to share with my friends in Florida. Although their French Onion Soup has a rich, robust broth and has the perfect amount of onions, it's very salty - and I'm saying this as a person who loves salty foods! Then there is the problem with the cheese and croutons. They come separately, so it's a DIY soup. But they give you the chintziest amount of cheese! I mean a teeny tiny small amount! I understand croutons are obviously dried bread, but they were hard as rocks!
