This is my new obsession! The Thai tea is so delicious and the pandan foam just makes it even better! I ordered and received my drink in about 3 minutes. Very nice staff and very cute interior.

I was pleasantly surprised on how good the drinks are. They have a wide variety of drinks, especially their unique flavors, which caught my eye. I got the Vietnamese coffee with pen and foam. It's nice that they have the shaved ice. The pendant foam could be a little bit stronger. The sweetness was still there even at 25% and the strong Vietnamese flavor also was present. I would come back and highly recommend this place.

    Vietnamese Coffee with Ube Foam

10/10 drinks! unpictured but i also really love their taiwanese popcorn chicken, red velvet & chocolate cakes, and taiyaki! really good service, the waiter was so nice and friendly and communicated well :) what i got: vietnamese milk coffee w/ ube foam at 25% sweetness pros - very good esp if you LOVE coffee!! wasn't too sweet, overpowering, or anything of the sort! recommend 25% sweetness, it isn't too bitter (i wouldn't mind if it was though) cons - stayed up for 24 hrs and got a migraine, be careful with vietnamese coffee esp if you're young or have anxiety like me!! it's worth it though lol!! Recommend this, their yogurt drinks, the hokkaido milk tea, the taro milk tea, and ANY of their desserts which taste lovely and not overly sweet, also support @/emsbakery.br as she provides some of them!

Okinawa milk tea, half powder (half sweet), light ice, topped with ube foam. 11/10!!!

I think this is the best boba tea shop in Baton Rouge. Staff are friendly and usually get your order to you quickly. Cute inside! My favorite is the Okinawa Milk Tea... all teas at places like this tend to be very sweet so I get them half sweet (since this one uses a powder, I just get half the powder). And they recently started having ube foam which is awesome! Boba options are great here too.

I HAVE FOUND "heaven"!!! The macarons are delicious and in BTR!!! Hot damn.... I have been wanting to try them for weeks and I FINALLY went. I got 6 and the price point (6 for $12.50) is very reasonable for their sweetness. I tried the chocolate and strawberry cheesecake and felt like I went to heaven! I am going to share with my sister so I didn't eat anymore.... Yet. I will be back....

    Outside

The inside is very cute and you can sit down and do work or study while waiting on your order. The waitress was really nice and it didn't take long for my drink to be ready. It looks just like the picture and it's really good and very sweet.

This is a pretty decent tea place in Baton Rouge. The tea is tasty and refreshing and I love that they have the deli manjoo. My wife loves it and was a great way to spend for dessert!

This place is amazing and the drinks and snacks are always 10/10!!! The staff is so friendly and kind and efficient! Especially a young lady named Ava. She was so helpful during my first boba experience!

It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea (#1), but I'm fairly confident in anointing Teatery as the best bubble tea option in Baton Rouge. The competition is getting stiffer by the day but their ratings speak for themselves. Despite being a strictly takeout business during the pandemic, business was still booming to where there were lines outside. Indoor service has resumed and they're better than ever. They have a handful of seating options, along with board games, WiFi, and nice bathrooms. Parking is always tricky but it's mainly due to how crowded the lot is. The drinks are great. They have a nice variety of milk teas, fruit teas, brewed teas, coffee, smoothies, fresh milk and seasonal specials. The latter is usually my favorite, which include summer cocktails and their chamoyada series. They also serve a mesn Vietnamese coffee as well and their line of classic flavors are excellent. The oreo smoothie is also killer. They also serve some dessert in a nice display, which include crepe cakes and macarons. Im pretty sure this is one of the only places in Louisiana that serves delimanjoo and the totoro equivalent. For those not in the know, they're custard cakes that are shaped like mini fish and totoro characters. They're fun the look at but even better to eat. Customer service is always on point and the prices seem to be average for this kind of tea spot. They have a rewards program and are really good about taking orders ahead of time. The city had new places popping up all the time, but few (read: none) can come close to where Teatery is currently at. _____________ (#1) I see what I did there.

Popcorn chicken is bomb, seasoned and battered really good chicken is not dry. and boba tea is good not too sweet or watery boba tastes fresh.

Friendly service and lots of options. The lychee peach tea was little on the sweet side but otherwise very good. Next time I'll try some food too!

Quick friendly service and the most perfectly cooked boba ive ever had. I got it 25% sweet and it was VERY sweet; i got boba and cheese foam so maybe that added a lot of sugar. If you're gonna get those addons I recommend asking for 0% sugar. I could taste the green tea but if you're looking for a strong green tea flavor, ask for a matcha.

    Mr B.

They do a really good job and keep consistency at a very high level. Thats hard with these boba places, plus they have 2 locations so that consistency has been tested across both locations and passes with flying colors. They know what they are doing here. Amazing Taro and coconut bobas !

The coffee, tea, and food choices are perfect. I grabbed an espresso shot and cinnamon roll to stay and an iced matcha latte to go. The espresso was nicely dialed in, the notes were present and the barista served it wonderfully. The cinnamon roll was warmed up and freshly iced before being served. The matcha was so good, and a great choice to takeaway as a treat. The staff here really goes beyond to provide excellent service. This is my new go-to coffee spot in Baton Rouge. Thanks Coffee Joy!

The menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring seasonal items, genuinely fresh pastries, and excellent savory options. The equipment used to prepare both coffee and tea is top-of-the-line, and the quality shows in every cup. The olives pogača (pronounced pasha in Turkish), topped with sea salt, is truly unique--fluffy, rich, and deeply satisfying. The baklava is served warm and is remarkably soft and easy to enjoy, unlike the usually firm, layered texture you expect. There's also an impressive tea selection with real flavor, loose-leaf options, and specialty coffees, including French press with a choice of beans. Honestly, this place feels like a luxury for this town.

But one thing that is more true than the Bermuda triangle is the Baton Rouge Bridge Crossing traffic back up. It's like as inevitable and predictable as anything can be and I am getting to enjoy it firsthand today. Always a traffic accident always a lane closure. Now usually I do the farm market Road north of Baton Rouge to avoid it but today I needed to go this way. The I-10/I-12/110 Triangle maybe? And I knew that my first stop would be French Truck location. I wanted coffee for the rest of my trip as I am traveling with my brewing equipment. I sampled their Festin, and their single source, Kenya, and Ethiopia and I decided to get a bag of the Ethiopia because it has that profound blueberry flavor profile that I like in small doses, thinking it was be a perfect coffee to share with my friends in Florida. And now on to lunch at Mestizo. A wonderful staff and ambiance. Great coffee shop music. I will bet that if I waited long enough, Tame Impala would come on the sound system. Lol.

Despite not being a big coffee enthusiast, I have come to appreciate all they've brought to the table as a serious coffee destination. As a venue, it's a beautiful spot with a good amount of outdoor and indoor seating. Their creative use of branding with lots of yellow, distinctive fonts, and merch are displayed throughout the store, becoming a central theme of their decor. Coupled with natural lighting, plenty of seating, good WiFi and a cool display of their brewing process, it's evident they've taken big steps to ensure their venue is one of the least ordinary establishments in the city. They honed their craft in New Orleans and have managed to do the same here. Their New Orleans iced coffee was dark and potent, while their Japanese slow drip aka Oji drip iced coffee was pleasantly delightful. The cafe au lait is classic and a nice rendition compared to the many places that do the same throughout the state. The macchiato, cappuccinos, and americanos also deserve their own mention. Like any quality coffee place, they sell all kinds of different coffee brews by the bag both online and in store. They also sell food as well ranging from breakfast items to salads and sandwiches. Avocado toast seems to be a big hit here, but they have a wide range of open-faced toasts that includes smoked salmon, pimento and prosciutto. I am definitely eyeing their croissant sandwich for future visit. Prices are standard foodflation but I think the coffee and the ambiance will always be the central focus. They have a good amount of people on staff and therefore the waits are never too long. Customer services on point and the bathrooms are very clean. Parking is available in the back and there is limited street parking as well. With locations in Memphis as well as the OG in New Orleans, they should be very proud that they've done well in Baton Rouge.

Based on the reviews and seeing that this place roasted their own coffee I was very excited to try it but it left much to be desired. Walked in to a very lively coffee shop, lots of students and they had a very nice sized space. Service was bleh, not very friendly just kind of like "what do you want attitude". Not sure if the college students employed are a little stressed out but you are in the service industry, give people a good experience! Ordered a pour over and an oatmeal cream pie. The pour over was good! Whoever is roasting did a great job highlighting the origin flavors of that coffee and it was brewed well thanks to the automated brewing system they had. The oatmeal cream pie was nothing special. A little hard and couldn't tell if it was old or just a recipe used that made it dense. The worst part for me was at the area you pick up drinks, it was messy and because of that mess there were a lot of little fruit fly looking things flying around. Not the best look for an establishment serving food and coffee. I really wanted to like this place. My coffee was great but a coffee shop is more than the cup. It's the whole experience and unfortunately, it was lacking. If I'm ever back in the area I'd give it a second try to see if it was a one off or not.
