My go-to boba place in Baton Rouge, and honestly, in Louisiana. The owners are always fantastic and friendly. They offer seasonal drinks and baked goods, as well as delicious regular items. I love the House Vietnamese coffee and the brown bubu with coffee added to it! From the bakery, I love the garlic cream cheese bread and the pate chaud, but everything they have doesn't miss at all! The ambiance is great as it's a larger venue than their first location with a nice outdoor seating area. It is even more convenient as it is near Costco, so I can get a drink and snack after getting my weekly groceries!

If you haven't discovered Reve Coffee Lab yet, I have one question: are you okay? (Seriously, go…read morecheck them out.) This place was basically my second home during undergrad. I'm pretty sure the baristas remember my order better than I do. Here's what makes Reve worth the visit: - The coffee is legitimately phenomenal. They're all about quality over quantity, using science-based brewing and traditional standards to craft coffee that actually tastes like they care. Because they do. If instant gratification is your thing, Starbucks is down the street. If you want good coffee, you're in the right place. - The baristas actually know their stuff. They'll help you find exactly what you're looking for without making you feel clueless. Fair warning though: this is their coffee shop, and they're respectfully enthusiastic about doing things right. Treat them like the humans they are, and you'll have a genuinely great interaction. - The vibe hits different. It's cozy and intimate inside (compact in the best way), but if the weather's nice, the patio is where it's at--plenty of space, zero stress. Work, study, hang out with friends--it all just works here. If you care about good coffee, good people, and a space that actually feels like somewhere you'd want to be, Reve Coffee Lab is your spot.

The vibes are excellent, especially after ~5pmish when it starts to get dark out because that's when the soft lighting inside turns on! I most recently got a hot crimson fog which is a black and blue tea and it was chef kiss! It was the perfect amount of sweetness as it has some elements of berries and will definitely be back to drink some more!

Based on the reviews and seeing that this place roasted their own coffee I was very excited to try it but it left much to be desired. Walked in to a very lively coffee shop, lots of students and they had a very nice sized space. Service was bleh, not very friendly just kind of like "what do you want attitude". Not sure if the college students employed are a little stressed out but you are in the service industry, give people a good experience! Ordered a pour over and an oatmeal cream pie. The pour over was good! Whoever is roasting did a great job highlighting the origin flavors of that coffee and it was brewed well thanks to the automated brewing system they had. The oatmeal cream pie was nothing special. A little hard and couldn't tell if it was old or just a recipe used that made it dense. The worst part for me was at the area you pick up drinks, it was messy and because of that mess there were a lot of little fruit fly looking things flying around. Not the best look for an establishment serving food and coffee. I really wanted to like this place. My coffee was great but a coffee shop is more than the cup. It's the whole experience and unfortunately, it was lacking. If I'm ever back in the area I'd give it a second try to see if it was a one off or not.

They even offer a private room. I love the education of coffee and coffee regions it has on the wall and educational decor. They have your classic latte, along with their own signature drinks. My daughter was super exited to try a Korean hot dog for the first time. We head to Momo Tea right…read moreafter school. She ordered a mozzarella hot dog and I went with a flaming hot sausage. I also got a Lime Passion fruit tea with boba. We had 3 mochinuts: white chocolate, funnel cake and churro. Service was 0/10. The young lady at the front counter was not very friendly. She had a flat affect the entire time and when I ask her to explain her fruit teas, she responded "What do you mean? Like all of them?" Their fruit teas looked a little bit different from the tea we order at the mall. What can I say I'm ignorant to the teas but I'm trying to learn. I felt like a bother asking any questions because of her response so I went ahead and ordered one to try. My daughter's corn dog 10/10. My corn dog 5/10. I'm assuming the flaming hot makes the corn dog soggy because mine was not as crispy as my daughter's. Tea 2/10 I liked the flavor but there was a ton of pulp and it was not popping boba, rather chewy, and I'm not a fan of the texture. I would have avoided ordering had I had an explanation of the tea. Mochinuts 5/10 Churro was delicious. The other two were pretty dry and flavorless (my first time trying so maybe that's the norm). Overall review: Pros: Mozzarella corn dog is fire!!! The atmosphere is cute with table games and a claw machine for entertainment. Con: Poor service. Soggy flaming hot sausage corn dog.

I wasn't sure what to get and the sweet girl behind the counter helped out and suggested the potato half and half. I absolutely loved it. So crunchy and crispy and the cheese was so meaty. That cheese pull was EVERYTHING! My sister got a mochi donut and it was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try a tea. Many people came in while we waited and all of their drinks looked amazing. We sat and played the games that the restaurant provided giving it a cafe vibe. It was very nice. Heading back soon!

It means so much to have found my new go-to coffee spot when I'm back in BR. The space itself is perfectly warm, clean, and welcoming. Everything is curated to make you feel like you belong. The coffee, tea, and food choices are perfect. I grabbed an espresso shot and cinnamon roll to stay and an iced matcha latte to go. The espresso was nicely dialed in, the notes were present and the barista served it wonderfully. The cinnamon roll was warmed up and freshly iced before being served. The matcha was so good, and a great choice to takeaway as a treat. The staff here really goes beyond to provide excellent service. This is my new go-to coffee spot in Baton Rouge. Thanks Coffee Joy!

Every table has outlets for devices, the space is open and well laid out with a mix of tables and comfortable couches that invite you to stay. The lighting is soft and warm, and gentle French music in the background creates a charming atmosphere. It's so comfortable it genuinely feels like a home away from home. The menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring seasonal items, genuinely fresh pastries, and excellent savory options. The equipment used to prepare both coffee and tea is top-of-the-line, and the quality shows in every cup. The olives pogača (pronounced pasha in Turkish), topped with sea salt, is truly unique--fluffy, rich, and deeply satisfying. The baklava is served warm and is remarkably soft and easy to enjoy, unlike the usually firm, layered texture you expect. There's also an impressive tea selection with real flavor, loose-leaf options, and specialty coffees, including French press with a choice of beans. Honestly, this place feels like a luxury for this town.
