Large Strawberry Lemonade with Berry Crystal Boba

My favorite boba in town! Highly recommend Oreo Wow for a milk tea or Strawberry Lemonade with Crystal Boba if you're looking for a fruity drink with a boba twist. Staff is always friendly. Store itself is sososo cute! Lots of seating, board games, a swing chair, even a little claw machine! Only thing keeping me from 5 stars is mobile ordering. The app states the drink will be "ready when you arrive," but nearly every time, no matter how far ahead I give the timeslot before I pick up my drink, no matter how empty the store is, I've had to ask for my drink to be made. Mobile ordering is to avoid that! No matter, I'll always come back to this store; its worth waiting for! UPDATE: Not sure if they saw my review, but every time since then my order has been ready for me as soon as I arrive! Bumping to 5 stars because it really is just that good.

WHAT Of every Kung Fu Tea I've been to, this is one of my favourites ever. In terms of decor for sure, also for service, and definitely for their delicious products. They had the best KFT products (and decor) of any KFT in Louisiana (although there aren't many), and by a distance too. In fact, after local Momo, along with the local branch of the chain Vivi, this is in my top 3 boba shops in the whole state. Yes, all are in the Baton. Time for Baton to pass the Baton to someone else and let another LA city have a good boba shop? Perhaps. What to get: Lemon Black Tea With Tapioca! Or: All the fruit teas are pretty good, especially if you go off menu and get black tea! Or: Go crazy and order your fruit teas with the very strong Oolong! Or in winter: Any of the hot milk teas! Which milk teas are best: Honey Oolong! Oolong! Maybe Taro or Almond! I also love the regular milk tea with Oreo! Generally speaking, Kung Fu Tea scores 5, which is a huge compliment, considering that it's a massive international corporate chain, whose milk teas don't match up to the best chains: Sharetea, Gong Cha, Tea Top, and Coco. However, they're still really good, and the fruit teas here are among the best. Especially the lemon black tea which absolutely rocks my world. If it's not on the menu, demand it! Other fruit teas (Orange, Grapefruit, Pineapple) must also be ordered off-menu as Black Tea instead of the meh Green. Also the Lemon Black tastes good as a Lemon Oolong, but everyone else hates it because they have bad taste. The one annoying thing about the chain is the corporate office (they're sketchy) and their rule that no drink can have its tea altered. In any case, this is definitely one of the best Kung Fu Tea locations we've been to in a long time, and one that left a great impression - and made a great drink as well. They have lovely employees, and I just wish that they were doing better business wise. And they were slow before Corona. I hope they can get through the virus crap in one piece. They deserve to. Theyr'e wonderful. If you're not very good at the Luge And your space station lost Centrifuge Come to Lousy Anna Cause you'll be a fan'o The drinks at Kung Fu Baton Rouge! The taste of the drinks is just huge! And the decor's as pretty as Brugge! So when you're in Baton Then it's time for some fun And Kung Fu Tea here in Baton Rouge! I know I may sound like the 4th Stooge And it's pricy, don't come if you're Scrooge But this Lemon Black Tea Gets me in with Barbie So that's why I come to Baton Rouge! What.

I have always been a fan of Kung Fu Tea but this one is the cleanest one I've seen! I asked for my drink with no ice and they filled my cup all the way to the top (instead of leaving space where the ice should've been). It is WAY too easy to stop by this KFT while on a grocery run to Rouses next door...you bet I'll be back here!

Words can't express how much I love this place. The past two months, I've been a regular and come every week, if not more often. And I'm not embarrassed to admit that. The drinks. Made with love. They do a great job with following any requests, such as light ice or half the sugar. I've been branching out from my usual drink and trying their other flavors and I have yet to be disappointed. Service is always so friendly, from the moment you walk in the door until you get your drink. Always a smile and always so fast. The atmosphere. Probably my favorite thing about this KFT. It's so bright. It's become my new study spot. You know how you go to coffee shops or libraries and it's just so dim and dark? And sad? Yeah, not at Kung Fu Tea. The entrance consists of a huge glass window, so you get the natural light. And if it's an overcast day, hey, they definitely don't skimp on electricity. It's just so bright inside, always, it makes you feel happy, even if you have to get work done. There's also relatively secure WiFi. Plenty of seating - tables, booths, and a cute bar towards the back if you want more seclusion. Outlets everywhere too! I also can't forget to mention the board games! This is just the perfect place for anything. A snack, a date, hanging out with friends, studying. It's just amazing and I love it. I'm so glad that Baton Rouge finally got a real bubble tea place.

The Tea tastes great, but it is more expensive and a smaller serving than other bubble tea in the area. The most basic tea, black/ kung fu tea, size M, is $4.00. Adding tapioca pearls is an additional $0.50. The more specialized teas (e.g. almond milk tea) are $0.50 more, but it doesn't taste so much better than the kung fu tea to warrant this price increase. There are 2 cup sizes, medium and large, and this medium size is smaller than the standard size of bubble tea in the area. The Tea is more expensive and you get a smaller serving. I would only get kung fu tea here because the specialized teas are $0.50 more. One good thing is this place is across from Perkins Rowe. The tea is good, but it's almost criminal how high the prices are here.

Wowie! This is the BEST boba shop in Baton Rouge for sure! It was sooooo clean, they were social distancing, had amazing service, and delicious drinks! The staff was really attentive and they always help me pick out a drink. I ended up getting the yogurt green tea with aloe jelly this time and boy is it one of my new faves. My all time favorites though are Wintermelon milk green tea and honey milk green tea! Also, their price for the amount is great too! Great on my budget for my weekly fix. I haven't broken my streak of being here once a week!

Amazing! Definitely try this place. Tons of selections, friendly and fast service, cute decor for hanging out or working and very clean environment. My 7 year old didn't have any trouble selecting something off of the menu and he enjoyed his passion fruit tea with mango jellies very much. We will definitely be back!

Tastemaker Review: Jaime: "I got the Oreo wow. It tasted like a light milkshake but with the addition of the bubbles. The bubbles at Kung Fu are chewy but they don't disintegrate in your mouth which is the consistency I'm looking for! It is definitely something to get only every now and then since it's so sweet but I loved it!" Elyse: "I got a Passion Fruit slush with aloe jelly and it was great! It was very light and refreshing and the aloe jelly really added an extra layer of flavor that I didn't know I needed! The cafe itself has lots of natural light and they played really chill music, so it's the perfect atmosphere to sit and have conversations. The staff also seemed like they enjoy what they do, which makes it even more welcoming and comfortable."

Kung Fu Tea was my entry into the world of Milk and Bubble tea and I AM HOOKED!!! Located right next to my gym I often stop in after a Saturday workout at Regymen. The place is so clean and the service is fast and friendly. They will answer all your bubble tea questions and help you pick out a GREAT one for you! The honeydew milk tea with boba is amazing and I love the peach oolong with jellies too! Kung Fu Tea has a GREAT app and rewards program! Expect Starbucks type prices for the same kind of great drink experience.

Went here for the first time and so glad I did this place was so good. I was so excited that they had passion fruit it's my favorite and then I got super happy when I saw that this place had the popping balls I chose the grape balls. My favorite popping balls are green apple and mango. They were out of mango and I didn't see green apple on the menu. But the grape were amazing in my delicious frozen passion fruit slush !!! My tastebuds were jumping for joy as I drank this down.

So excited to have one of these in Baton Rouge! Great shop that's well lit. Great place to visit with your friends and play a few of the available board games. I like that the menu is so expansive and you can find your favorite in it all. Als, if you want to the "cheese tea", try a milk tea with a milk cap. A great experience. A great treat for all!

My favorite boba place! I used to have to drive to New Orleans to get Kung Fu Tea, but no more; it's finally in my own backyard, Baton Rouge, and I couldn't be more excited. The service is always the most patience and friendly wherever I go, and this new location didn't disappoint. It's currently the first day of the soft opening and I just couldn't wait to go. I got the Thai Tea with boba (no ice) and then the kiwi apple kale with aloe jelly (no ice). I've tried a lot of their different drinks -- not everything yet -- and I've liked them all. Can't wait to frequent here more often now that it's so close to home!

I also got a Lime Passion fruit tea with boba. We had 3 mochinuts: white chocolate, funnel cake and churro. Service was 0/10. The young lady at the front counter was not very friendly. She had a flat affect the entire time and when I ask her to explain her fruit teas, she responded "What do you mean? Like all of them?" Their fruit teas looked a little bit different from the tea we order at the mall. What can I say I'm ignorant to the teas but I'm trying to learn. I felt like a bother asking any questions because of her response so I went ahead and ordered one to try. My daughter's corn dog 10/10. My corn dog 5/10. I'm assuming the flaming hot makes the corn dog soggy because mine was not as crispy as my daughter's. Tea 2/10 I liked the flavor but there was a ton of pulp and it was not popping boba, rather chewy, and I'm not a fan of the texture. I would have avoided ordering had I had an explanation of the tea. Mochinuts 5/10 Churro was delicious. The other two were pretty dry and flavorless (my first time trying so maybe that's the norm). Overall review: Pros: Mozzarella corn dog is fire!!! The atmosphere is cute with table games and a claw machine for entertainment. Con: Poor service. Soggy flaming hot sausage corn dog.

For starters, the guy who took our order gave off an attitude before we even said anything and looked like he didn't even wanna be there. When we ordered, he didn't even ask about what type of toppings or sweetness levels we wanted like any typical boba shop would do. When he gave us our order, he didn't even say anything or gave us the utensils we needed with our order. Basically horrible customer service skills. Now for our order. For the drinks, we got their Mangonada ($7.40) and their House Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($7.30). For the food, we got their Coconut Snails ($18.95) and their Sautéed Scallops ($19.99). The food was very mid and overpriced for the quality. Portions were so small and the taste of everything was nothing special. The brown sugar milk tea lacked any brown sugar taste and was so bland. The Mangonada drink was okay, but it didn't even come with the Chamoy covered straw as advertised. One upside is that the inside decor is nice and clean, but that is the ONLY upside. I hate brining down family-owned shops like this one, as I can understand the hardships that they go through, but my experience here was so awful that I had no choice. Rude service? Mid quality food and drinks? Overpriced? I'm sorry, but until they change things for the better I would not recommend this place.

Not sure if the college students employed are a little stressed out but you are in the service industry, give people a good experience! Ordered a pour over and an oatmeal cream pie. The pour over was good! Whoever is roasting did a great job highlighting the origin flavors of that coffee and it was brewed well thanks to the automated brewing system they had. The oatmeal cream pie was nothing special. A little hard and couldn't tell if it was old or just a recipe used that made it dense. The worst part for me was at the area you pick up drinks, it was messy and because of that mess there were a lot of little fruit fly looking things flying around. Not the best look for an establishment serving food and coffee. I really wanted to like this place. My coffee was great but a coffee shop is more than the cup.
