Its toppings were granola, banana, pineapple, coconut flakes, and honey. It did not give fresh. It gave pre made and frozen beforehand. The pineapple was like the ones in the Dole fruit cups. We also ordered the turkey club sandwich. It was enough for 2 people. It was ok. Maybe I ordered the wrong things? The service was great so I may give them another try...

The lychee refresher tasted like a lychee and not artificial which is a plus. My daughter enjoyed the dubai waffle which was also pretty tasty for me. The turkey croffle was decent which just ultimately reminded me of a regular sandwich, but the Cocotella was pretty refreshing. No complaints with the service which there is someone always available. Overall, the biggest complaint for me is that it is pretty pricey which would deter me from coming often. It would definitely be a once in a while type of place to go for me, but hope they continue to have good business.

I had the green protein with extra honey--my long-standing favorite. It was delicious. The perfect level of sweetness and so creamy. The workers were nice and the ambience as always was calming and cozy. It's always spotlessly clean with a comfortable couch. We did have slight trouble finding the place because it's actually at 218 Allen Toussaint, not Robert E Lee!

I got to try their spicy avocado toast and a juice shot complimentary as a Yelp Elite Perk. The spicy avocado toast was really yummy! It had nutritional yeast sprinkled on it, which gave it a punch of deeper flavor along with the sriracha sauce. The juice shot wasn't my favorite, but it sure tasted healthy lol I also bought their strawberry colada smoothie ($10 for 24oz). It has almond milk, coconut water, frozen pineapple, frozen strawberries, and a touch of honey. It was good, but I could probably have used a bit more than a "touch" of honey since I have a sweet-tooth. Although, I guess that would defeat the purpose of trying to stay healthy lol They're a little bit pricy comparatively to some other places, so I took away one star, but I have no complaints about the store or their products in general! Everything seemed fresh and of good quality!

Unfortunately it took a second for the worker to figure out what I kept saying I wanted to order, but she told me she didnt hear me. After ordering I noticed the people in front of me also waited a very long time for their order. I got my smoothie prior to them receiving their full order but at what cost. I payed $9 for a cup of frozen ice and frozen fruit balls. The texture of the smoothie was anything but smooth. Then as it thawed I started getting a thickened texture. I asked for no bananas and to sub strawberries but as soon as I tasted it I noticed a hint of banana. I could tell there were little balls of bananas in it and no signs of red or strawberries. I really wanted to like this place so Im giving 2 stars to be generous. I did not enjoy my first impression of Planet Smoothie. I wish I could have spent my money elsewhere and waited a few months for them to get through some of the training kinks, such as how to make a smoothie smooth or how to pick up the pace. Im not sure its worth going to with so many smoothie places in the Nola/Metairie area.
