My sister moved to Louisiana two years ago and has always said it's been hard to find truly great food, so we were excited to give this place a try--and it exceeded every expectation. The woman who took our order was one of the sweetest people we've met. She was so welcoming, patient, and made us feel right at home, which made the whole experience even better. The tostones were perfection--served hot and crispy on the outside while staying soft and fluffy on the inside. The breakfast arepa was outstanding and paired perfectly with the fresh cilantro dipping sauce. Every bite was packed with flavor, and you could tell everything was made with care. The restaurant itself was spotless, bright, and inviting, creating such a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy a meal. Great food, amazing service, and a clean environment are the perfect combination. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable breakfast. It was hands down one of the best breakfasts I've ever had, and I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Unfortunately it took a second for the worker to figure out what I kept saying I wanted to order, but she told me she didnt hear me. After ordering I noticed the people in front of me also waited a very long time for their order. I got my smoothie prior to them receiving their full order but at what cost. I payed $9 for a cup of frozen ice and frozen fruit balls. The texture of the smoothie was anything but smooth. Then as it thawed I started getting a thickened texture. I asked for no bananas and to sub strawberries but as soon as I tasted it I noticed a hint of banana. I could tell there were little balls of bananas in it and no signs of red or strawberries. I really wanted to like this place so Im giving 2 stars to be generous. I did not enjoy my first impression of Planet Smoothie. I wish I could have spent my money elsewhere and waited a few months for them to get through some of the training kinks, such as how to make a smoothie smooth or how to pick up the pace. Im not sure its worth going to with so many smoothie places in the Nola/Metairie area.

I was greeted when I walked in and told bits of info about the drinks. The place was clean and employees were friendly. What took me back was that the teas and shakes are made using HERBALIFE supplements/ mixes... The caffeine comes from different teas (black/oolong/ etc). I was initially super excited to try the teas until I heard this. I was given the impression that the drinks were a concoction of the stores own flavors/ recipes. While making the drinks, I could see pre packaged pouches with the powders being poured in the cup and mixed with water. They should've stated this on their business page bc it's a bit misleading. The taste of the was sub par and left a dry taste in my mouth. The effects of the tea pretty much felt and tasted like the standard pre workout to me. Compared the GLOW NUTRITION claims to my ALANI NU preworkout, the alani nu had better nutritional values at a lower price point. Alani also tastes a lot better than the loaded teas. The concept is cute but all in all, I most likely won't be back here.

Walking in I was greeted with fresh smells & warm smiles. This was a new place for me, so of course, I am taking in all the sights, from the GET CHE MIND RIGHT backdrop, to the wall menus, to the vending machines & all the other signage that provide helpful suggestions. I was shocked to learn of drinks made with kidney beans was on the menu. The kidney beans are said to be sweet. I promised to try it, as it's quite hard to fathom kidney beans would be sweet. That will be my drink of choice next time. But this time, I tried a more fruity drink and It was quite pleasing to me. There was ice cream at the very top and the cashier suggested that I hurry and eat that before it melted I did what she said, and I had two treats in one drink. The ice cream and then the gummy's at the very bottom. It was like eating gummy bears or gummy worms with a dessert drink. Every mouthful was chewy and flavorful. To be noted, there are non-dairy options as well. Don't get scared. So many items to choose from, dessert drinks & banh-mi sandwiches, mango this, kidney beans that... with so many items on the menu that just means I have to return and try more of the concoctions. Shared parking lot. But it doesn't look like most people come and stay alone while.
