Pretty cool little place! I ordered the Warrior because it is high in protein, low on carbs. The lady at the register was so pleasant and helpful. She was able to help me pick out the perfect smoothie right away. As it turns out, they even have vegan protein which I love. Whey proteins worsen my seasonal allergies. The smoothie was made very quickly, which is always a plus. No one wants to wait around for ten minutes for a blended drink. The location is very conveniently located next to a Planet Fitness, urgent care, grocery, and multiple restaurants right off of Airline highway. Everything you need is right in this little area, and whether you are coming from Metairie or the city, this place is easy to access. Parking can get a little difficult, so don't be surprised if you have to park in the Rouses lot and cross the street. read more

I'm glad I stumbled on to Smoothie Time. I was leaving Planet Fitness, and this location just so happens to be 2 doors down. It's a small location, but great. What I loved the most was the customer service, the lady was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She actually made me a delicious smoothie (can't remember the name) that wasn't was on the menu with strawberry, kale, and others. I added immunity to it. It was a delicious smoothie. Filled me up and gave me everything I needed. The price is good. Parking is available in the lot. Directly next to the Urgent Care and Planet Fitness. read more

Entertainment Reality Television!, and a bored gum-chewing former cheerleader with a blender behind the cashier. Smoothie Time is under the French Riviera gym on Vets, and adjacent to some sort of hidden tanning salon, which should give you a pretty good idea of the clientele. I'm either in line behind a sweaty balding tattooed man or a bleach blonde stay-at-home mom trying to firm up her tummy flab. Although clearly too interested in The Bachelor to pay attention to you, who is ordering the smoothie, the girls at the counter are never rude, just preoccupied. Smoothies go for approximately $5-6, and have awesome, gym-inspired names like "The Gladiator" and "Weight-Loss Wonder"! Mango Diabloito was on point, just like my favorite spots in L.A. Their basic nachos had warm cheese drizzled on every last crispy chip and were served with plenty of jalapeños. The place was very clean and the customer service was great. Definitely a must if you like fresh fruit smoothies, bionicos, nachos, or even cueritos on chicharrón. read more

I've become a regular at Smoothie Time because of their fresh ingredients and flavor, compared to some other local chains in the area. This store is focused on health and body building, as they have all different kinds of protein powders, amino acids, pre-workout supplements, etc. If you have a question, the owner always seems willing to answer any you might have. On the wall, there's a nice spreadsheet detailing their smoothies on calories, protein, and fat content. The environment could use a bit of some updating, but overall Smoothie Time is a great place to go and a place I highly recommend if you are a health enthusiast. read more

Only giving three stars because it's never consistent. I LOVE smoothie time. I was a customer before they moved to this location. It's a hit or miss. There's only 3 people that know how to make a smoothie correctly (the owner, the older lady and the young girl with the ginger hair.) Anybody else is awful. Like I said, I LOVE SMOOTHIE TIME. I prefer them over any other smoothie place but the inconsistency is starting to push me away. read more

I stopped here today after my workout and was greeted by 3 muscle men, one behind the counter and 2 inside. (Not complaining because it's always nice to see attractive men!) The guy behind the counter was very nice. I got the Fat Fighter smoothie and it has a pretty good flavor but I can taste the powder a little. Not enough to make it a bad thing. Very clean place but pretty hot in the lobby. After working out I was pretty sweaty and that didn't help. Maybe they want to sweat while they work? I'll be back! read more

I got the coconut supreme and it was watery. No thickness to the smoothie at all. The lady was sweet but helpless. She used sugary coconut syrup... loaded with sugar and calories. And she didn't have a lid for her blender. It's was all very weird. read more
