Fresh Kitchen is amazing but maybe different for some. Its like a new age fresh kitchen …read more Everything is dairy and gluten-free. Their side dishes are different and cold but dont let that stop you right here, they are amazing! Their noodles are made from sweet potatoes and they have mashed cauliflower that you'd never know if they didnt tell you. They have other sides that all taste great. Im not to keen on their beverages but again its a new age thing and it goes along with their pallet. And you have to try their cookies. I always have to get them. Soo good. My only draw back for me is it all comes in a bowl which I love, but not my husband. He wont go there just because the food is layered and well some dont like that. He wont drink their choice of beverages either. Some like it and some dont. I guess thats for everyone. But for me, its my go when I'm in Gainesville.

Literally every single item on their menu is completely delicious. They offer a fantastic variety of high-quality proteins and vegetables, making it incredibly easy to build a clean, nutritious meal. What truly sets them apart is their unmatched commitment to clean ingredients--everything is 100% gluten-free and prepared completely without seed oils! They even sell high-quality Evian bottled water and offer phenomenal immune shots that I absolutely love. It is incredibly rare to find a quick-service spot with these standards. I cannot recommend them enough! Oh, and their service is amazing!

Once inside though it was bright, welcoming, clean, and "simple". We received a friendly greeting upon entering and was quickly provided a menu. She also let us know that once we decided what we wanted to order at the counter and they would bring it to our table. The menu is "simple", but has something to entice most folks tastes. Our food came quickly and was perfectly, as ordered. The cheeseburger I had was very good. The meat and cheese were hot and all the condiments and veggies were cool as they should be. The Club my boyfriend had looked very fresh and he said it was really good. We both had fries and they were perfectly cooked and hot. This place also serves breakfast and if the biscuits and gravy look as good as the pictures that others have posted, I'm in for a return visit. The prices are very reasonable, as well. I enjoy these off the main route places. This reminds me of a simple diner. The food was fresh, tasty, quick, portions were plentiful, and staff was friendly. I'm always glad to support the small business owners. All and all Simply Southern Eatery is "simply" wonderful and well worth a visit!!

My dining companion had the 1/3 with cheese and bacon and fries. The tea was delicious and I mixed it half and half. They use simply syrup and Martin's liquid tea packages. So old fashioned and good. They carry Pepsi products. My fish were good and the onion rings hot out of the fryer. My friend's burger was very good. If you think about what this diner is, it is simple food done well and inexpensive served in a friendly atmosphere. The oil was new and everything was done well.

Driving home from a road trip, it was time for lunch…read more My mission was simple. Find something close enough to the highway that I wasn't adding another hour to the trip, but good enough that I wouldn't spend the next 50 miles regretting my decision. Scrolling through reviews, I found The Paper Bag. Great decision. First, the menu is just fun. The sandwiches have names like the Barada, Balboa, Uncle Drew, Monte Cristo, Notorious B.A.G. and the Tony Montana Cubano. Apparently, naming sandwiches is taken very seriously here. Then I spotted mine. The Brooklyn Bombers, AKA Fugeddaboudit! As soon as I read what was on it, the search was over. Pastrami, coleslaw, Russian dressing, mustard and Swiss cheese piled onto rye bread. And let's talk about that rye bread. With a sandwich loaded with this much personality, the bread could easily become nothing more than transportation for everything happening between the slices. Not here. That rye MADE the sandwich. Everything worked together. The richness of the pastrami and Swiss, the crunch and tang from the coleslaw, the Russian dressing and mustard, all held together by that excellent rye. Fugeddaboudit, indeed. The atmosphere is casual, light and fun, and the whole experience just made me happy. I walked in looking for a quick lunch near the highway and left wondering why more sandwich shops can't be this entertaining. Who knew a sandwich could be this much fun? Five stars. And proof that sometimes the best road-trip decisions happen when you're hungry and scrolling Yelp.

Look up, look down, look around... they are everywhere! Fun! Joyful! Amazing! This restaurant needs a play room! Jenny took my order. She was extremely helpful and gracious, ensuring the ingredients met my dietary needs. Thank you Jenny! I almost forgot... the musical soundtrack completes the vibe. Jimmy Hendrix? Check! The food is super fresh, made with great ingredients, and is full of flavor. I also really appreciate that are seed-oil free! This particular location is in Midtown located right by UF's campus. With that being said, it can get busy. But I have found that they always do a great job managing this and keep the line moving. The inside is kept very clean--which is always appreciated. The service is also really pleasant as the workers are all super nice, patient, and accommodating. While Bolay may be considered "pricier", I really think the prices are fair. Especially when you consider how much food you get and the quality of the food. I always opt for a Large Bol which includes up to 4 grains, green, or veggies, 2 proteins, 3 toppings, and a sauce of your choosing. I consistently opt for their kale salad, sweet potatoes, garlic broccoli, and steak in my bowls. I like to switch up the bases sometimes and get their noodles or their Forbidden Rice (which I've really enjoyed lately). I've also been enjoying their chicken thighs, but I can attest that all of their proteins are delicious! I really just love how fresh and flavorful everything is. I don't know how they cook their sweet potatoes and broccoli specifically, but whatever they do--it's magical. Overall, I know I can rely on Bolay for a great, satiating, healthy meal through and through! I have never had a bad experience here and always look forward to placing order. I will definitely be back plenty of times throughout this upcoming school year!

It wasn't exactly what I was going for, but that's more on me than the place. We also got a Pick Two combo: a strawberry banana smoothie (with oat milk, banana, strawberries, flax seeds, and agave) and the Thai Chicken Crunch salad (romaine, red cabbage, roasted chicken, carrots, celery, and wontons). Everything was decent and fresh, just nothing that really stood out flavor-wise. We took everything to go since we were busy getting her room set up, and it worked for what we needed--a quick, fairly healthy option. One thing I wish they offered was a smaller portion size; everything felt a bit too much for a light lunch.
