It is not far off of Interstate 10, which is a plus to travelers like myself. Walking in, I found the overall ambiance to be pleasant enough. The service was friendly enough. The Ruby Tuesday in my hometown unfortunately closed down many years ago so it's usually a treat to go to one now. I met my parents one day here as it was a middle point for us. Service was great as always, as was the food. My dad got the salad bar. He had also ordered the mushrooms appetizer but they were out of them so couldn't get those. My mom had the salmon and I had the Asiago chicken. Delish! Also for drink I had a peach lemonade which was tasty and I appreciated the actual peaches inside. All in all, nothing bad to say. Oof. Tough beat from Ruby Tuesdays. Kept getting worse too. Walk in, looks like everyone quit. Salad bar is located at the door. Feels weird. But whatevs. Get sat. The waiter recognizes me from Grindr and outs me in front of my gf. He never brings a setup. I gotta go get them myself. Appetizer sampler is $17.49. And is incredibly unimpressive. Photo attached. Like, how you feel good about charging $18 for this but ok. I added the salad bar. Advertised for one price, charged a different price. Receipt in the photos. Salad bar looked like shit. Ruby Tuesday's is one of those places that is a throwback to the 80's when restaurants this style were the rage. This specific location is nice and is supported very well by the local clientele. My wife & I are down for the Florida/ Texas football game on Saturday & came in for a couple of beers an appetizer & split an entree on the Friday before. Our server Jake was very polite and attentive and made our time at Ruby Tuesday's a fun experience! The only negative about our stay was the restaurant was out of some items (ramen noodles & shrimp) during our visit due to a delivery issue that week. So, had to pivot to a different meal which was the deconstructed kabobs which is very flavorful and cooked spot on! If in Lake City, FL & just want to hang at the bar & have an adult beverage or grab a nice meal, I would recommend this restaurant as a place to check out. read more

Idk where to start. Staff, horrible. Bartender, forgettable, how do you not have any clean classes at 6:30pm? There's 5 people here. the ambiance is ok, it's a Ruby Tuesday. Food not cooked right. Under sized. The Bartender took my glass, filled it up with beer, left it under the tap and walked away, then maybe 20 mins went by and another server tried to give me that beer, no thanks. the bartender gave me frozen sour cream with my potato skins. I asked for other sour cream because it was took a long time for them to get back so I started eating them and I never got utensils. I was eating it with my hands. Unsanitary. I Finally asked why I never got said because everyone eats those with their hands. I said really I don't eat them with my hands. I've never been to an establishment that I was an offered utensils supposed to eat hot potato skins with frozen sour cream hands? I was then told by Tara the manager that I had called Melissa a bitch and I do not cuss. She told me that she was call the cops on me and that I was trespassed. I was here for and I just wanted to have something to eat and relax a little bit from the day. I've never been treated so poorly when I Tara was at the door watching me leave like a creeper and it was very scary and a bad experience. I will never be treated this way again. I am shocked. I'm appalled. I'm disgusted and I'm still shaking from the experience. read more

The salad bar is fantastic. Staff is flexible and friendly. Recently, I had a problem with a gift card that I ordered ($50). The manager Peter told us that he appreciate our loyalty--especially since it is 40 miles from where we live. He said that he would take care of the bill (up to the $50 that was on the gift card). We appreciated Peter and the staff going the extra mile. Jake, one of the servers, is especially friendly, chats with customers, and extends himself to be helpful. The cheeseburger is supposed to only come with French Fries of Tator Tots. When we said my wife couldn't eat either one, Jake offered to let us substitue a side of our choice. (We appreciated it, since another Ruby Tuesday in Lady Lake didn't offer that flexibility.) We love coming here and look forward to visiting frequently. We originally wanted to go to Pardon My Cheesesteak and wound up at Ruby Tuesdays. We didn't know Pardon My Cheesesteak was a "ghost kitchen" and could only be accessed through Door Dash. What a disappointment. The service here at Ruby Tuesdays is very slow. Th food is good. The restaurant itself needs help, when you first walk in, there is the salad bar right in front of anyone coming in, seems like you would want it in a place not right at the front door. Next, the carpet tiles are very worn and dirty, and there was a little bit of an odor when coming into the restaurant. read more

Like restraunt and environment but my wife and I just returned from there and were very displeased with the small portions. My hickory glazed salmon was just over an inch wide and five to six inches long. It looked like a child's meal, plate looked almost empty. My wife's portions were small to. Traveling today, arrived into Lake City around 7pm and theres a Ruby Tuesdays next to the Holiday Inn. Tired and appreciative of the convenience, I walked next door and took a seat at the bar. Sat there, unrecognized, for just short of 10 minutes. So I got up and walked out. The bar tender was paying attention to only certain guests, even outside the bar where there were plenty of servers, who would come behind the bar and make their own drink. I'm now at Texas Roadhouse where I have been asked 3 times inside 10 minutes if I had everything I need!!! What a difference just across the street! read more

I was staying at the hotel next door to Ruby Tuesday and looking forward to having a relaxing meal in that restaurant. As I walked up to the front door I was greeted by a trash can overflowing with garbage and poor landscaping that made the restaurant look trashy. Deciding to give the place a chance anyway I went inside. The first thing I saw was the salad bar just feet from the front door with food spilled out of the serving dishes. The tiles on the floor were dirty and the carpeting was filthy. I was seated right away right next to the door in a booth with a bench seat that sunk when I sat on it about 4 inches. I sat there a few minutes in the smelly restaurant imagining what the kitchen looked like. I decided there was no way I wanted to eat there and got up and walked out. read more

The bartender and servers and cooks deserve 5 starts. These guys were swamped with take out and with people staying at the hotel next door. The food was just ok I like hot food and mine was more slightly warmed. Probably because they were so busy. Drinks were good and we had a great dinner time here because we were on vacation and were relaxed. We ordered the chicken burrito bowl and the grilled chicken burrito. It's very difficult to explain my experience at the Ruby Tuesdays in Lake City, Florida. I would like for the managers or owners to review the cameras at the bar area between 7:00PM and 8:30 PM June 25, 2024. 1. Miller Lite draft was not Miller Lite or extremely extremely sour. 2. The queso for the chips was very cold. 3. The bartender repeatedly told customers she was having a bad day(Number one rule in serving customers is never let them know you're having problems). 4. I ordered my entrée to go, but it came on a plate to serve there. 5. After reminding the server, the order was to go, she lost the order for 15 minutes and after paying the full tab I told them they could feed my order to their dogs! read more

I was in the mood for the Ruby's salad bar, so I made a little stop. I was in a hurry, and I figured it wouldn't be busy.. and I was right. (A pretty standard thought for Ruby Tuesday these days, but I appreciate those that are still in business.) The salad bar was fully stocked and clean. Some of the lettuce looked a little brown, but as long as it's not soggy I'm ok. Everything tasted great! The croutons were real salty, though. I ordered the lunch parmesan shrimp and a side of broccoli. My dad ordered the hickory bourbon pork chop. Nothing came it steaming hot, but everything tasted fine thank goodness. I had to add more cream sauce to the pasta because it wasn't really creamy. If you're looking for a quick stop with a lot of options, I wouldn't hesitate to stop here. Thank God the food, drinks, and sever was great, because had it been for the host at the host stand, we should've left. He told us upfront we had roughly a 20 minute wait to be sat. We waited and after the 3rd group of 4, 5, and 6 that drove up and entered after our group of 5. By the time he was preparing to seat the group of 6, I politely asked if maybe he had forgot us and he said "ummm naw, I remember " after seating the 6 top I walked back inside obviously with a bewildered look on my face so he walked up and said "oh now I got you a table".... He then was witnessed bad talking us to our soon to be server about our bad attitude. However, I informed our server Ryan that he should not worry about us being rude it had nothing to do with him. I can confidently say this was the worst dining experience of my life, so much so that we didn't even make it to ordering our food. We sat at the bar, before we could get drinks, they had already handed someone else the wrong carry out order and instead of giving a refund or making them a new order, they just gave them someone else's order. It took us at least 10 minutes to get our drinks ordered. They made us the wrong drinks and when the "bartender" was done making our drinks, he just left them sitting on the other side of the bar until the actual bartender returned and asked us what we wanted. We got the "endless" salad bar, but there was in fact an end as there was no salad and they were out of over half of the toppings. The table behind us didn't eat their food, had to send back multiple items and were offered a modest 10% off their meal. We still were charged for the salads (and as entrees, since we didn't stick around for an actual entree) and in the end got charged for doubles on our wrong drink order. The staff were incredibly unorganized, overworked and unprofessional. The bartender was cleaning tables and running around doing everything but tending to the bar. If you take anything away from this, save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

Stopped in Lake City FL for the night while traveling. The Ruby Tuesday's was right next door to our hotel so we decided to order takeout. Michelle answered the phone and proceeded to take our order, but the menu I was viewing online didn't match the restaurant menu. She apologized for the online menu not being current and then suggested similar options to what we had originally wanted. They sounded good but most of them would be difficult for my husband to eat due to him being paralyzed on one side from a stroke. Michelle expresses her understanding of our situation and suggested a few other items that may be easier to eat with one hand. When I went to pick up the order, Michelle brought out our food and had put some sani-wipes in the bag for my husband for easy clean up. She also didn't charge me for the last minute add-on of a Sprite. I hope the manager of this Ruby Tuesday's recognizes what a gem of an employee they have in Michelle. She is professional, friendly, and truly cares about the individual needs of customers - even if it's just a takeout order. Every retail establishment should have a Michelle! When I got back to the hotel room and unpacked our order, everything was hot, fresh, well prepared and flavorful. I can't speak for the sit-down experience, but I can tell you the restaurant was clean and everyone was friendly when I went inside to pick up my order. To start, it was freezing cold in there. Secondly, we came for the salad bar and more than 1/2 of the items were at the bottom of the barrel or gone entirely. Wait staff was visiting with each other instead of taking care of business. I had to point out to the staff that the salad bar needed attention and it took approximately 10 minutes before anyone made a move toward it. Went on Sunday afternoon, busy but not packed. We were seated promptly, & our waiter spoke on his way to another table. He came right back and took our drink order. Throughout our time here he continually came by to check on us. I ordered the baby back ribs with chicken tenders, I substituted the salad bar for one of my sides. My wife ordered a chicken salad. She was disappointed that they had discontinued a salad that she really enjoyed. She liked the salad she did order though. I went to the salad bar, which was nicely stocked and fresh. The employee working this area struck up a friendly conversation and added to my enjoyment of selecting this reastuarant. My ribs & chicken were also delishous.
