Smooth Endings is fantastic, personalized hair removal service. Donna is always cheerful; she makes you feel at ease and the best of all, she is super flexible with the appointments. She could accommodate me at the last moment when I needed it. Smooth Endings is elegantly furnished place. Donna is working on some refurbishing so the place will look even better very soon. After a tedious research about laser hair removal, I decided to make an appointment with Donna in November. When I arrived, she immediately greeted me with the hug, she explained in detail how the laser works, and made me feel very comfortable. Since, I am doing my bikini area I was slightly intimidated. Donna proved to be great professional, she made many jokes and she knew exactly how to distract me from the process. She listens to your needs, even though hair removal can be slightly painful at times, she asks whether you need a break or you prefer to continue and just get over with the procedure. Overall, my experience with Donna has been terrific. She provides unique attention. She would accommodate you as you were her only customer, and she would treat you as a friend. Donna has a vast experience; she can tell how you feel by the slightest movement of your body. I am definitely recommending Smooth Ending to all my friends. Thank you Donna! read more

I'm a female who developed a moustache in early adolescence that never went away. It embarrassed me because, in school, other students made fun of it. After school, during my early adulthood, I was able to see that it was a disadvantage when it came to dating and even when interviewing for jobs. I tried everything to get rid of it, and nothing worked (some treatments even made it worse). Eight years ago, a good friend told me about Donna Trimboli's work as a laser hair removal specialist. My friend had seen her and had total success with removal of the very, very thick hair on her forearms, that she'd had since childhood. I had nothing to lose, but before going to Donna, I did some research. I learned that not only was she highly trained, but also her fees were very reasonable -- she did not gouge her client (unlike the dermatologists who were charging a small fortune), and she had a lot of experience. So I went to Donna and, in several easy treatments, with minimum discomfort, the moustache was entirely gone, and it has never returned. Ten years later I can say that it wasn't just laser hair "reduction," as it was called then -- it was permanent hair removal. I highly recommend Donna Trimboli to anyone who needs such help. Her work is superb. read more

Where to start .... I LOVE Donna and Smooth Endings!! The office is located in a great part of Brooklyn, where I've easily found parking every visit. Very discert exterior and once inside beautifully decorated with white linens. Super clean, soothing, and pleasing to the eyes. Then you're greeted by the Fabulous Donna! After filling out my forms she asked me if I had any questions or concerns. Which she happily addressed. On to my procedure, facial laser hair removal. Donna explained each step and assured I was comfortable throughout the entire process. After the procedure Donna checked in on me later that evening to make sure I was ok. Donna is  the prefect blend of professional and personable. Did I mention hilarious!!! On to my results. I've always struggled with facial hair and even had laser hair removal before and was completely dissatisfied. But since my very first appointment at Smooth Endings my results have been fantastic!! My complexion is so clear and beautiful. My hair growth has drastically decreased and  almost completely stopped. I feel so confident and can leave my house without cover up. I would wholeheartedly recommend Smooth Endings! You will not be disappointed!! read more

I was referred to Donna by a very happy customer. I was pretty nervous about getting laser done but all that changed once I had my first session. Donna is very friendly, intuitive and a master at laser hair removal. The place is clean and very serene. She makes you comfortable from the beginning, asking if you have any questions, and explaining the procedure. During the procedure we have casual conversations which helps distract from the zinging (bearable). I have very dark course hair which Donna explained is perfect for laser treatment. After the treatment she also tells you what to expect. I am so happy with my treatment I decided to get another area lasered. She helped me prep to have that area lasered by recommending a topical cream since I had darkened the skin from years of tweezing. The cream worked like a charm and I have started that treatment. Donna knows skin, she is flexible with appointments and sends reminder texts the day before treatment. I think she is reasonably priced since the hair removal is permanent. A plus for me she is an animal-lover! read more

I love Donna!!!!! I went to Donna about 5 years ago for my bikini area. It was a great experience. She always made me feel completely comfortable: when I needed a break she knew, if I needed to laugh she knew, if the laser intensity had to come down she knew! Then over the next few years I went to 2 other laser places because of affordable Groupon deals. The money I spent on them was pretty much thrown away. Not only did the first treatment (3 sessions) of my underarms do absolutely nothing, the second one (six treatments) has made barely any difference, not to mention the treatment I got from both these places was harsh, rushed and incredibly impersonal, I felt a bit like cattle. Meanwhile, after only THREE sessions with Donna my bikini area is still in gorgeous shape five years later! I just went back again recently to go a little more work and it was like old times! Warm welcome, kindness, patience, humor and excellent workmanship. She is just a total pro. Don't waste your money on cheap fix deals! Worth it to do it right the first time with Donna! read more

I had been thinking about laser hair removal for years and had done a ton of research on it. I was a bit skeptical about if it actually worked and if it was worth the price. After sifting through some laser places on Yelp, I emailed Donna and she responded to me almost immediately with her (very reasonable) prices and if I'd like to schedule an appointment. She is very flexible with days and times and it was easy to schedule an appointment and not have to wait for months or leave work early. I was nervous for the first appointment, but her adorable shop and friendly pup put me at ease. And Donna makes you feel like you've been friends forever! I never have to wait and I'm in and out in less than 20 minutes. Most importantly, IT WORKS! I have been 4 times in 4 months and it's incredible! I used to tweeze sometimes twice a day and now I don't worry about it at all anymore. It has been worth every penny. Donna and laser are an absolute game changer and I am so glad I made the decision to give it a try. read more

The absolute best experience I've ever had with laser hair removal. I have fine hair which is the most difficult to permanently remove and after five years of experimenting and spending far too much money with different laser centers, with and without coupons, nothing ever worked for me until I stumbled upon Smooth Endings. I only tried it at first because it is so close to my home and found yet another coupon. I'm devoted! Donna is SO excellent and professional, I just can't say enough... And remarkably, after only 2 visits, I am hairless where I want to be for the first time ever! Her prices are terrific, compared to every NYC clinic I've researched or experienced and most importantly, I have RESULTS. Wow. I will continue to go back for other areas, not only because it works, but Donna is honest about the treatments and completely up-to-date on her equipment. The atmosphere and experience is intimate and extremely private because of the way she schedules. For laser hair removal, this is the best. read more

After menopause and hormone replacement therapy I began growing hair everywhere I didn't want it-lip, chin, jawline, arms, belly, butt-you name it. I was told laser therapy wouldn't work in my particular situation. My younger sister who has had a bit of a moustache her whole life finally decided to get rid of hers and researched places that did this. She read all the favorable reviews about this business and went in for a treatment. She was thrilled with the results. I figured I had nothing to lose and went for one treatment starting with a small area like my lip to see if it worked before I would invest money on larger areas. Well after one visit I have noticed a dramatic difference!-not only has the regrowth slowed down to a crawl but no new hairs have come out either! I used to have to pluck and or wax frequently and now don't have to! I can't wait to go back for more treatments and to do the rest of my body! I figure at 65 I owe this to myself. 2018 is going to be "HAIR FREE" for me!! read more

After reading so many glowing reviews of Donna at Smooth Endings, I decided to give it a shot and finally go for Brazilian laser hair removal, and I am so glad that I did. Donna is very thorough in answering any questions, extremely flexible with scheduling appointments, kind, courteous, with a wonderful "bedside manner". The office is beautiful, sanitary and private. Coming from someone who has dealt with shaving, waxing, going to bad waxers, not being able to get to the day spa before a last minute beach trip, etc, I am so glad that all of that is behind me. So far, I am been to Donna twice, and have already had amazing results. Yes, of course it costs a bit of cash, but it is going to be so worth it. As for the pain, it is really not that bad, and Donna talks you through it and works with your pain tolerance. I would say that it's on par with the pain of waxing, but it takes a little more time. You should absolutely look into going to Smooth Endings for your laser needs. read more

I booked my first appointment at Smooth Endings upon reading many positive reviews online about Donna's laser services. And now having come back from my first session I am more than thrilled to be joining in on this chorus. Donna makes an impression even before you get to the door. She responds to emails promptly and with a genuine warmth. There is so much to rave about regarding this business. Its tiny Park Slope space is immaculate and lovely. Donna is knowledgeable, exacting in her work, and exudes a caring that makes you feel comfortable (which is very important considering how vulnerable you can feel on that table depending on what you are getting done-- Trust me!!!). I was touched today to find a not cookie-cutter email from Donna checking in on my results a day in. I'm happy to say that I'm feeling great and excited to return for the rest of my package. Smooth Endings is simply fantastic. read more

Let's face it, there are a TON of rip-off laser places. They make a lot of money by using an ineffective laser, stringing you along for as many treatments as possible, and then telling you there's something wrong with your skin/hair. This is exactly what happened to me at a place in Chelsea when I tried to have my bikini lasered four years ago: multiple treatments and hundreds of dollars and I look exactly the same. After that, I gave up on the whole idea. However, some horribly embarassing and ugly black chin hair (AGH! I don't wanna have a beard!!) drove me to try again... and this time I lucked out with Donna. Donna works. And I mean REALLY WORKS. Zap! Zap! Zap! A year later and my chin is still baby soft and worry-free. Donna also happens to be extremely nice, warm, friendly, professional, and very experienced. She is not going to laugh at your funky furry bits. So stop suffering and go. read more

Donna is amazing. I'm getting my lower legs done and she has just been absolutely incredible. The shop itself is extremely clean, nice lighting, cute, and very private. Donna is attentive and caring - she asks multiple times to make sure the setting is ok (there are different settings that change how much it hurts - but the less it hurts the longer it takes so you can pick your pain threshold). It takes less than an hour. It hurts (obviously) but Donna is such a great conversationalist she really manages to take your mind off of it! And I'm SO happy with the results already! I've had 3 sessions and I hardly ever shave anymore! And when I do shave it's because I feel a very small amount of stubble (hopefully even this will disappear after my last session!) but I don't get the annoying dark spots that I used to get all over my legs a couple of hours after shaving. I HIGHLY recommend Donna! read more

If you are considering laser hair removal, Donna is the one to call. Even if you're just thinking about it. Do it. Donna is caring, informed, professional and passionate about helping people look and feel their best. Her focus is always on delivering the best results, which to her also means that her clients are comfortable before, during and after treatments. She is brilliant! Visits are like catching up with a friend. I was so thrilled with the results of treatments on my underarms that we also treated my legs. Terrific results and definitely worth the investment! You won't believe how nice it is to not think about shaving. Donna's "treatment offices" are comfortable and casual, and appointments are a breeze. I'm so lucky that she's in Park Slope because I would schlep across the tri-state to visit her if I had to (I hear some people do!). read more

I initially found Donna through a Living Social deal, but I had such a great experience with her that I booked additional treatments even after those were finished. I was very nervous about laser hair removal and had been looking into it for years, but never got the courage to make an appointment until I saw the LivingSocial deal which was conveniently very close to my apartment. Donna is both very friendly and very professional! She explained to me exactly what would happen so I was fully prepared for the experience, and it was much less painful and scary than I had anticipated - plus, from even the first treatment I was EXTREMELY happy with the results! She also emailed me after my first treatment to check in, which I appreciated, and was very quick to respond when I emailed her with questions. Thank you Donna! read more

Smooth Endings is fantastic. Donna, the owner who is also the practitioner, is a professional. She is informed, educated and knows what she is doing. I have done laser before in a cheaper place years ago and i think it pays off to do it somewhere proper as i had to repeat treatments with Donna cause hair had grown back out. Another very important thing is how comfortable she makes you feel while doing it. Sometimes you are laser-ing intimate areas where it feels embarrassing to be exposed, but she has this way of chatting and laughing and making all sorts of conversation that you barely notice. I think how comfortable she makes one feel is equally as important as the technical side. The place is lovely, stylish and spotless clean. I highly recommend. read more

I had been wanting to get laser hair removal for quite some time, but wasn't sure if I wanted to go through with it. I could not be more pleased with the purchase I've made at Smooth Endings. Not only was it a great experience, but the results have been awesome so far. The salon is small, private and very clean. Donna is a true professional, she knows exactly what she is doing and is very helpful. She is open to answer any questions you might have, in person, over the phone or via email. She makes you feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed. I noticed a great difference after the first couple of sessions, I'm excited to be completely done and never have to shave again! If you're looking for a great laser hair removal spot, give Donna a call ASAP. read more

So let's face it, sometimes as women we have hair in unwanted places and it's embarrassing. For years I had been thinking about getting laser to get rid of some facial hair, but just found the whole process daunting. Instead, I tweezed which never gave me a smooth feel and left me feeling self conscious most of the time. From the first session, Donna made me feel comfortable and at ease with her warmth and professionalism. She has a wonderful energy which makes her a pleasure work with. Different areas on the body have different sensitivity levels- but in terms of the work I had done I found the pain minimal and the benefits certainly outweighed it! For anyone interested in laser hair removal, I highly recommend Smooth Endings. read more

I cannot speak highly enough of Smooth Endings and Donna! I had been thinking about laser hair removal for years, and finally had one razor burn too many. I chose Smooth Endings largely based on the positive Yelp reviews, and now (four treatments later) I'm thrilled to be able to add to them. If you're thinking about doing this, GO HERE. I will never go to anyone else! Donna is very experienced, professional, and so much fun to chat with that you almost don't even notice you're in the middle of a treatment. Your comfort -- and great, fast results -- are her top priority. Be careful, though: it is highly addictive! Highly recommended. read more

As a somewhat hairy fella (thanks dad!), I was looking around for a LHR place and had read some of the horror stories with the online deals. I called Donna and we had a phone consultation which resulted in coming by for a test run. Months later, the Gillette is enjoying its retirement. Donna is amazing! She definitely knows her stuff and explains it thoroughly. It's like talking to an old friend and you almost forget the reason why you're there. I will say that some areas are more painful than others, but she can read it and bring you back to your comfort zone. I have achieved great results with the process and would never go anywhere else! read more
