    Taking a musubi bite!

This place is awesome. Homemade food right behind the counter. Not packed. Happy service and they have some games to play while everything gets made.

I came here for a musubi but we ordered so much more. I ordered the futomaki and the avocado and spam musubi with a pineapple green tea. My husband ordered the fried noodles and the spicy ahi roll. It took a little while to get our food because they were busy but it was worth the wait. Everything was made fresh and it tasted delicious. The fried noodles was enough to share and the spicy ahi definitely had a little kick to it. Overall, everything tasted great and I would highly recommend this place. The pricing is also very reasonable. Also, if you're going to visit this place, you'll want to park at the shopping center next to it. There really isn't any street parking.

Super Qute Cafe... Not sure what the Q stands for but this blue greenish colored may blend in with it's Board of Water Supply neighbor which some may say you can't miss it...I did and drove right by them. Signage was too small for me and heading eastbound on North King which makes them to the right of me made it difficult to see though once you know you know. They are right beside Diner's Upscale Hawaii (which has no sign) and when I asked about parking they said it's okay to park there which made it even more convenient so that I don't have to rush. The decor is super cute yet simple and similar like the usual bubble tea spot with sticker decor on the wall though this isn't your usual cafe as they serve an impressive savory items from musubi to chirashi bowl and yes including tea. I ordered a couple of items though since it was later in the day one wasn't available and decided to just get two of the same thing which was a spam musubi with egg. It was a bit smaller than usual and wrapped tightly with plastic wrap that made it so hard to unwrap without it falling apart but was a yummy bite that satisfied my belly after a long day at work. Tea it was difficult choice but kept it to a simple SQ Fruit Party as I already know that's a fruit tea that's my usual jam. Loved that it's in the OG cup with the heart stopper which makes it easy to sip and drive. They do have a stamp card so that's already a win win place to eat, sip and enjoy. Thank you!

Breakfast in Kalihi, Honolulu, Hawaii... Searching my Yelp app for a nearby place to eat, Super Q Cafe appeared, and I read a review by my friend, Donna O. I'm sold! I parked "next door" because there's hardly any street parking, and like Donna, I was gonna be quick. Unfortunately, they opened at 1:30pm on Sunday, June 2. Fortunately, I went back on June 4 and they were open! The guy at the cash register seemed to be the only employee in the morning. Maybe more staff will come later? He was very apologetic as he was finishing up an order before mine. He asked how I found out about the one-month old cafe. I told him my friend wrote a Yelp review and posted photos... he was very happy! I ordered a delicious musubi with tamago because they were right there on the counter (fresh and warm), a yummy Chirashi Bowl (the picture menu made it look good), and a Teri chicken/salmon special since there was a poster on the wall. I couldn't eat the salmon because it was a bit spicy with perhaps Sriracha mayo sauce? I liked the chicken, Furikake, and takuan! I received a stamp card and 2 stamps because my order was over $20. Later, I ordered a Watermelon green tea and a Pineapple green tea for another stamp... LOL... it was a warm day, and I was dehydrated! The cafe itself has really cute decor! I look forward to returning for more yummy food and fruit tea that has real bits of fresh fruit in them!

Cute little place in the corner, big sign can't miss it. Right away the owner or worker at the time was very very sweet and kind. I ordered a matcha and some shrimp fried rice and sushi. Everything was made to order and it turned out great.

You can't miss seeing Super Q Cafe in this light teal building just off of Waiakamilo Road at Kamenani and North King Street right next to Diner's Upscale Hawaii. Inside this nicely renovated cafe was a drink and sushi place. Besides sushi, they do offer miso soup, musubis, beef curry & teriyaki beef bowls. Some drink places would have sweet desserts but not savory food. Cool that you can get your boba drink and breakfast in the morning, since they open at 7:30 am except 8:00 am on Sundays. It's not earlier enough for me to pick up breakfast before work but for after church breakfast on Sundays. They have grab and go spam musubis under the warmer. The price was so reasonable for a spam musubi at $1.99! I chose an avocado spam musubi for a little more and I liked that it had no egg! For my drink I got the grape green tea! It had pieces of grapes inside. It was refreshing but I drank it so fast and realized there were more ice than I would liked. I don't mind coming back to try the other items on the menu. Street parking was limited, but I parked next door, since I planned to be quick. They have a 10-stamp reward card for a drink or musubi. Get a stamp for each $10 purchase. Super Q Cafe was a cute & clean cafe and their prices were reasonable. Workers were nice too.

Oahu offers many sushi shops, but none will be of great service or taste Smooshi Bento was. The Teriyaki Beef and Nigiri was worth every penny, as well as the many flavors of milk teas. If you're ever in the area, visit this amazing shop to not only be offered great food, but great and polite service as well.

Super Q Cafe on North King Street in Honolulu truly impressed me with its diverse menu and delightful offerings. I had the pleasure of sampling several dishes and beverages, and each one exceeded my expectations. Starting with the food, the shrimp tempura was perfectly crispy and flavorful, while the Dragon roll showcased fresh ingredients and expert sushi craftsmanship. The beef curry was rich and comforting, and the Inari was a delightful sweet treat that complemented the savory dishes beautifully. When it came to beverages, I indulged in their coffee tea with boba, which was a delightful blend of flavors and textures, and the Oreo smoothie was creamy and satisfying, perfect for cooling down on a warm day. The ambiance at Super Q Cafe is cozy and inviting, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes it ideal for both quick bites and relaxed meals. The staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. Located conveniently in Honolulu, Super Q Cafe is a must-visit spot for anyone looking to explore delicious Japanese cuisine and a wide variety of beverages. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this place is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it for its great food, excellent service, and overall enjoyable atmosphere. Salmon and Ikura Bowl & Chirashi Bowl
    Athena D.

10/10!!! Let me start with the Watermelon Smoothie and the Lemon Tea, both tasted really good and natural (not artificial or powder flavoring). Based on the taste, I think the Watermelon Smoothie is blended real watermelon and the Lemon Tea is squeezed lemon, this also included lemon slices. The Chirashi Bowl and Salmon and Ikura Bowl were also great! The fish and seafoods are fresh and the serving size is big. The quality and size is great with an affordable price. The ambiance of the place is pleasing and the staffs were nice. The place is easy to find, it is right across the street from Ford. Overall, it was a great experience and I'll definitely be a regular

Super Q is Super G! Love it from the fresh Cali Rolls, fried noodles, and spicy ahi bowl, to the milk tea boba, all more than reasonsbly priced. This is my go to place couple times a week. If I had more money I'd go more! What a gem in Kalihi. Move over Upscale Diner there's a new sheriff in town. I bet all the postal workers go there.

Fried Noodle and Evi Nigiri .
    Jo-Ann H.

Food was good. Service is good. Ambience is good. No restrooms. Friendly. Casual atmosphere.

Been coming here since they first opened. Their food always hits the spot. Very good quality food and drinks made with love. I heard they buy their fish from the auction and they also buy fresh fruits to make their drinks! So their prices are reasonable and good value. Always consistently friendly service. Cute decor and a clean space. I recommend their brown sugar milk tea with boba and their sushi combos (ahi or salmon). They give a really big portion of fried noodles and fried rice, so try that too!

Great food great drinks great price!! Will be back

Like this restaurant, it's nearby our house. I like food and drink and reasonable prices. Will be back back for sure

I'd been curious about trying their matcha offerings, so I was excited. We came on a holiday morning, and there wasn't anyone inside. The cafe is cute and vibey! I ordered at the register, and she made my drink immediately. I was intrigued by their Haupia Matcha Latte. I love all things Haupia, so it seemed like the perfect match. I got the Haupia Matcha Latte with Oat Milk, and it was superb. I loved how creamy it was, how the sweetness of the haupia shone, but the earthiness of the matcha was still there. I'd definitely recommend this drink and am curious about their others. Hello Again is a nice cafe addition to Chinatown. It was honestly one of the best matchas I've ever had in HI. Their pricing isn't too bad but not the cheapest. We got their lilikoi matcha (Hapa Honey Matcha), which was my first time trying it, and it was really good! It's definitely on the sweeter side, though, so just a heads-up if you don't like sweet drinks. For me, it was the perfect amount of sweetness because it wasn't overly sweet. I also loved that they do a little writing design on top of the drink using honey. I thought that was such a cute and unique touch! We also tried the Matcha Manako because it has li hing mango syrup, which we had never seen before. This one was less sweet but still really delicious! My friend also got their tonic drink, but unfortunately, we weren't really fans of it. The flavors didn't mix well together for us, so I wouldn't get that one again. I also like that they sell their own syrups that you can use to make your own drinks at home. I ended up buying their honey lilikoi syrup to bring home because I liked the drink so much. The syrup itself isn't very sweet. I've used it multiple times at home to make my own matcha, and it's been great! They have plenty of indoor seating, and it's not too loud, so I'd say it's a nice spot to hang out or get some work done. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I also loved that they sell bouquets there, and they were all so pretty! My usual go-to is their brown sugar milk tea with brown sugar boba or either their mango or strawberry sago with grapefruit. Since it was national mango day, I went with their mango drinks. The mango sago with grapefruit is always refreshing, tasty, n' has great textures. The mini sago is made perfectly. My daughter really enjoyed their cloudy mango. Don't forget to scratch off the scratcher on the drink cups, it could contain a discount for your next visit. I earned enough stamps to fill two stamp cards from previous visits, so you can say I'm a frequent customer!

This is for my catering experience with Tea at 1024…read more For Galentines, me and my girlfriends decided to take the experience to us. The ordering process was easy thanks to their amazing staff. Their guidance from online ordering to communication over the phone and text, they made our event successful and memorable. There was 5 of us , with a moderate appetite. So, We went with two orders of the "Catering - Sandwiches TO GO" and one order of the "Catering - Scones TO GO". Then our choice of their teas: 1oz Sakura Cherry Rose and 1oz of their Cookies and Cream, which is great with milk and sugar btw. 1oz =at least 12 pours of the tea. If you want 2oz =24 pours of tea. The sandwiches were also delicious, a cute tiny bite of flavor. Which to this day I wish I ordered more since I'm more of a savory girlie. You can choose the sandwiches from their catering or seasonal menu and it comes in 4 pieces. We ordered: Sandwich flavors 24 pieces 1 Sweet egg salad (4) 1 Smoked Salmon with Dill Creme (4) 1 Nutella & Strawberry (4) 1 roasted veggies & hummus (4) 1 Crab & Cheese (4) 1 Cucumber & Avocado (4) My personal Favorites were the Smoked Salmon with Dill Crème and Roasted veggies & Hummus. The scones only available flavors were vanilla bean & earl grey and it also comes with potted cream and jam packed in a to-go cup. If you decide to host a little tea party with your girlfriends, I highly recommend trying them out.

I was finally able to try this place due to an invite from a friend of mine who wanted high tea…read moreservice! Parking is always difficult in Chinatown but we both scored meter parking on Nuuanu St not too far from 1024. Walked in and was pleasantly surprised by how cute and kitschy the place looked! There was a group of 3 adorable little girls being patiently taught by a parent how to sip their tea and enjoy the courses. They were dressed like princesses with tiaras and I loved that this place created that type of atmosphere. I wish I had dressed up more! You get to choose your own tea cup and matching plate from various areas and chose one tea that they will refill throughout the tea service. I opted for the Buckingham Palace (Earl Grey and rose?) I think. Would love to try their pu'erh tea options next time! The lunch menu for afternoon tea is so reasonably priced and starts with a salad, two flavors of scones with sweetened clotted cream and a strawberry jam, then 6 finger sandwiches and 3 dessert bites. I will say that the food was a relatively even hit or miss on taste but I did prefer the savory sandwiches to the final dessert options. It's heavy on the carbs but that's afternoon tea for you! Such a fun option in Hawaii if you want to lean into the whimsy and magic of tea time!
