Tea for 2 please! Yelp BFF and I experienced casual afternoon tea in London and that's exactly what I wanted for my birthday. Upon arrival, you're warmly welcomed and have a chance to look around at all the cute little trinkets. We got to choose our tea cups amongst a large assortment. I opted for a pink rosy one. We were then ushered to the prime window seating area to review the selection of tea. I got a strawberry green tea and BFF got a watermelon oolong. Tea for 2 comes with a salad, scones, finger sandwiches and an assortment of dessert. The berry salad with vinaigrette topped with feta was a great way to start the meal. We received an ube scone and cinnamon scone each, which came with strawberry jam and clotted cream. My favorite finger sandwiches is between the smoked salmon and avocado sandwich. The desserts were ok (a little dry imo). I did receive a birthday cupcake/brownie dusted in pink glitter. It was such a magical experience and a great way to celebrate my birthday! Thanks for reading my reviews! Let me know what I should try next!

Always such a delight to come to Tea at 1024. I caught up with a girlfriend who was visiting town over some afternoon tea. The lavender scone was freshly baked and hot out of the oven. Sooo delicious! Lattrecia (owner) also was so sweet about accommodating some of my dietary preferences.

Tea time with the ladies This was my 1st tea experience. It was nice. A reservation was made online, with one of our group gluten free. Parking on Sunday, meters are free, or the Chinatown Gateway Plaza (entrance on Bethel) is very inexpensive for the 2 hour block of tea time. They send info about parking in advance, which was nice. Upon arrival, they have you pick out your teacup and saucer. The tea list is comprised of a big selection, several levels of caffeine, and non tea options are available. They prepare food items, and for our reservation, we had lunch (brunch type). This included, salad, scones, sandwiches with the crusts removed, and desserts. Each person picked their tea and received a small teapot. It was refilled with hot water midway through the timeframe. Service was excellent and they explained the teas and all the treats served. The dining experience was nice. There were mostly ladies in the venue, and a small family with their daughter. Some people wore hats and most people had dresses. There were items for sale inside. It was really cute. The amount of food and tea was filling as well.

This is the cutest little tea shop. They had lots of tea options and they were great! I had a simple english breakfast tea and enjoyed all the tea cakes, the egg sandwich will always be my favorite. The server was so nice and checked on us plenty and made sure we never ran out of tea. It was a nice time, they played beautiful music and it was very artsy and quiet inside. I would come again.

every time I go, the experience is top notch. I love how accommodating they are for different dietary restrictions. Best tea shop on Oahu! Highly recommend and can't wait for my next visit.

We celebrated our friends bday here, she loves this place and always goes here for High Tea. It was a handful of us mom friends in our high tea outfits, it was so cute. Especially if your a Bridgerton fan like us. It was my first time here and it was a pleasant and intimate experience. I would highly recommend this place to others who want to experience high tea but away from Waikiki & the expensive hotels. We loved our server too, she was so kind and attentive. It started off with our choice to select our individual tea cup set and tea flavor, we each got served our own mini tea pot already steeping and our own little hourglass timer. The scones came cute little sizes with jam and a whipped cream for the table. Scones was a-little dry and i wish it was a little warmer and served with whipped butter as a choice too but it was well presented and great with the tea as a starter. Then our little garden salad came super cute served in a tea cup and saucer with fresh strawberries, blue berries and feta cheese. Loved this salad & this dressing so good! Simple but so good. Next came the tier plate of tea sandwiches which was perfectly little sizes and pretty good. I wasn't super impressed with the Little desserts at the top but again for the price it was okay. I was super excited for this part but it was still very well presented and good. Everything matched the price. Would def come back here for high tea. Note, be mindful where you park, i paid $15 ‍ and walked down 2 blocks but learned there is cheaper closer parking spots.

Engaging par-tea of seven honoring our dear friend's birthday. Best to make reservation and select choice of menu with advance payment online. Arrive on time. Two hours to enjoy. Seating for two to eight guests. Employee will inform patrons to select choice of teacup. Enjoy their salad, scones, assorted sandwiches, desserts, and caffeinated or decaf teas. Vanilla Pu'erh tasted tea-riffic! I personally loved their house salad with fresh fruits and feta cheese, open faced rotisserie chicken with berry-Jalapeño creme, smoked salmon with dill cream, cucumber with pesto sandwich, and pumpkin cheesecake tartlet. Feel free to dress up. Capture photos of Queen Elizabeth II and sip on Buckingham Palace tea for a regal experience. Keep it fun with photos of Audrey Hepburn. Thank you to the two employees who worked diligently. Restrooms are located in back vicinity. Options are getting dropped off and picked up. Metered street parking available for up to one hour Monday through Saturday except Sundays and holidays. Park in Chinatown Gateway Plaza, level P2, sign indicates Stairs to Nuuanu Ave. Ambience highlights afternoon tea.

You get to choose your own teacup. How cute is this?

Tea 1024 has been on my list for some time. I had some friends coming into town and took the opportunity to go which was a real treat. Make sure you reserve ahead of time on their website. They are closed on Sunday and Tuesday, so take that into consideration when booking. I think the price was well worth the experience that be paid. Parking can be a little bit tricky since it is in Chinatown. There may be a lot of metered street parking options, but do keep note of how long your spot is allocated for. The tea options are expansive and you each get a pot of tea with diligent hot water refills. We each got a different type (black/white/herbal) which was great because we each got to try something different. The sandwiches and dessert were not as good as they could have been. They were very aesthetically pleasing, but did not have much flavor to them. I think everything was a little bit heavy and overly creamy. The amount that was given was definitely a good portion size, though for everyone at the table. The salad was my favorite as well as the scones. Despite the food, not missing the mark the experience was quite fulfilling and I would still do it again. Grab a group of girls and go out for tea - I promise you won't regret it.

It's been over 10 years since I've dined here or stopped in for High Tea. That said, a couple friends of mine and I decided to go here for high tea and it was a perfect choice of venue. Michele was the proprietor when I initially visited Tea at 1024. Today, it is owned and run by Lattrecia, former employee turned proprietor- how cool is that? Located in downtown Honolulu, in Chinatown actually is Tea at 1024. They have been in this location FOREVER!!! Depending on when you go, you can park on the streets or there are municipal parking lots in close proximity. At this time, they are on their summer menu (very delightful and refreshing) and keep in mind the menu changes like seasons. They also offer 3 types of teas (black, green and white) and by request you may find some herbal teas. They also offer a vegan menu on request. Definitely a great place to go if you're looking for a feminine tea time or, if you're having a baby shower, bridal shower or for that matter; you really don't need a reason to dine here. And let me just say that men are also invited and will definitely enjoy the food, fun and fellowship. Payment requested upon confirmation of reservations so be wary of that. So, com'n Ladies and Gents!, get with Tea at 1024 for some fun food and fellowship.

A cute little shop with cute decor and cute cups you get to choose from for your service. Reservations are highly recommended, and must be paid in full if your reservation is accepted. Whoever works the phones was super helpful and patient with answering my questions. Got 2 gluten free and 2 standard sets. Good food all around. Tea service comes with a salad served in a tea cup, 6 finger sandwiches, 3 desserts, and 1 choice of tea per person. We each ordered a different tea since they have such a wide variety of loose leaf to choose from. The cucumber kimchi sandwich is such a good twist on a classic tea sandwich. They also have clotted cream to go with the scones. The scones themselves were buttery and dense, and the lavender scone wasn't perfumey with the level of lavender in it. They even brought out an extra dessert not on the menu for my mom's birthday. Service was excellent, considering half the shop was reserved for a party of what looked close to 20 people. We arrived about 10 minutes early and were seated almost immediately, and got our teapots topped up twice during our stay. Our server was friendly and described every tea flavor we asked about, so the staff is knowledgeable and well trained.

Brought my daughter to her first tea time as a mommy and daughter day date. She was so excited to come here. This was my 4th time here, and as usual, I loved it. Once we arrived, the host seated us at the window where there were cute chairs, it was secluded, and decorated with cuteness! The menu & place settings were already set, so we were given a few minutes to look over the menu. I got strawberry green tea and my daughter got hot cocoa. The drinks came fast and it was delicious! The food was a set menu (wish we were able to choose the sandwiches though bc my daughter only eats egg sandwich lol) but everything given was delicious to me! It was cut in bite size and the desserts were so yummy! By the end of the first hour, my daughter said she was already full. It was really nice to just sit, talk, & enjoy with my daughter. Thank you Tea at 1024, can't wait to come here again!

A friend and I stopped came by for afternoon tea one Wednesday around noon, and it was packed! Every table and seat were occupied, and I can see why, looking around at the flowery, pink, dainty environment that makes it so perfect for parties of various sizes to indulge in really good food and fine tea service while chatting, catching up and/or celebrating a special occasion. I heard about Tea at 1024 over the years and never went before ownership changed for whatever reason, but I'm so happy that its legacy lives on with the new owners. You can feel the love that goes into their service. Note, charges are collected beforehand via credit card, which is fine. It actually makes your afternoon tea experience better because you don't have to think about cost, tipping, etc. while you enjoy your tea. You're just free to enjoy and then you are on your way! Loved it, top to bottom.

This tiny little afternoon tea shop is quaint and mystical! Everywhere you turn are Knick Knacks and cuteness overload! First let's talk about are server Holly. She is like a little fairy fluttering around the shop and catering to your every need. Her calm demeanor and bright smile made the experience delightful. You start by picking your tea cup from an eclectic collection then you pick your desired tea from a very large selection. Don't know what some of the teas are? Well the servers are well versed and knowledgeable about each tea. You start with a salad then warm scones with clotted cream and jam. Next your selection of sandwiches and desserts come out plated and placed on the tiers in the middle of the table. Everything was tasty. And there was more than enough to fill my appetite Overall it was a great experience and I would do it again

Tea at 1024 Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Tea at 1024

    Where is the parking?

Park in the Municipal Parking lot on Bethel.

I've never been to Tea at 1024 before and do not understand the website. Do we pay for the reservation in advance for the sake of having a reservation, with tea and sandwiches being extra cost? Or is it pay now so you don't pay later?

You pay for the reservation in advance and that includes a plate of pastries, and a tiered sandwich with that and dessert depending on what you order. Then you're already paid and you leave after you're done.

For the Pixie, what do the accompanying parents usually do? And it reads like each reservation is for 2 hours? (Thinking about doing a birthday party for a 5 year old).

Usually the parents get the Afternoon Tea and join their little ones or the young at heart for Tea. You are allotted 2 hours from the start of your reservation but don't have to stay for the whole 2 hours.

Are there options that are both gluten free and vegan?

Yes! Be sure to ask for those options in advanced

Do they sell children's tea sets?

Yes they do. There are cute sets to purchase and have your own tea party at home.

    Do they do walk ins?

They do take walk-ins but since there is a new owner, they have become super busy and if you want to be sure to get a table a reservation is recommended.

The pixie party says for the young and young at heart is the menu for this option a good idea for 2-30 something young at heart birthday girls?

I am not sure what you are asking

Is there a time limit for a tea party? Online it always says 5 minutes by the pricing, so I'm really confused by that.

I was told by my waitress/hostess that you have 2 hours from the start of your reservation. However, if you reserved for the last seating or if there's no reservation after yours, they won't rush you.

    Do they allow professional cameras?

I’m not sure what you mean by professional cameras but I know they do encourage picture taking. You can call or reach out to them and ask too...

    What's the price?

www.teaat1024.net/menu A regular high tea is $22.95 or $26.95/person. I think the price difference… Read more

If business is going so well that customer service is optional, congratulations. But for the rest of us who show up hoping to feel welcome for overspending on your match and ice cream, especially in a place that's supposed to represent the spirit of these islands -- this wasn't it. This is clearly one of those places that feel like they're too good to serve you if you're not meeting their aesthetic. Yeah, very Beverly Hills (attempt, but likely wouldn't do well there), kinda "clicky" like vibe, snooty, haughty seeming like vibe, maybe a lil tad bit stuck up, and for the tiny little portion and "big show" , I probably would have liked it somewhat, but also would have felt guilty for paying a fortune to be treated that way lol This place likely won't be around in a year, by the vibe I'd say it's slow times (wonder why).
