So, I've been here before, and it was decent awhile back. Today, I tried to place an order in for a pie and was told they are not making pizza pies at the moment. They said, "It's gonna be a square pizza." I said that's fine. As I'm going to use the restroom, I see a pizza pie freshly made... gets worse. When I received my pizza, my first bite was "What's up with this bread?!?". Looks like a pre made store bought flat bread with toppings. Bread looks overworked or didn't let it rise. I have a large pizza delivered via a GrubHub. The delivery was spot on right on time. Everything was perfect. That's where that ended. The pizza was a Hawaiian pizza. I ordered extra pineapple and an extra Canadian bacon. I believe they forgot the extra bacon. The toppings were good. They tasted delicious. That wasn't the problem. My problem was the crust. It was so thin on the bottom as to be nonexistent you couldn't pick it up. You had to eat it with a fork. And even though it was so thin, it was very chewy, very hard to chew. read more

The best part of this place was the cool retro space chimp art but they replaced that with a creepy 3d AI generated chimp from your toddlers favorite cartoon. The food quality is terrible and prices are high. One of many examples we have is a magerita pizza that had half the ingredients missing and was burnt. Salads with ingredients and dressing missing. Delivery that takes almost 2 hours. We keep trying thinking that it would get better post covid but these folks are dependably overpriced and bad quality. read more

Saw that doordash had a coupon for the Tarzans bread sticks...which appeared to be covered with cheese on the picture. Floppy slices and no crisp to it. Crust is filling, not light / airy as you might expect in an artisanal pizza place. That said, though, this seems like a great place for families & kids. Really busy with kids soccer team and parents on my visit. Solid prices (fair), and it'll fill you up. Good value, just wish the crust had a bit more sophistication to it. I was not even planning on going there. I had already bought something else to eat. But when I saw that they were open and had slices, I had to go. Relatively on the Eastside, they are few places that serve slices. It's fine to get a whole pizza to share with friends/family (if you have any nearby) or if you can subsist on the same thing for days on end. For the rest of us, we can have our slices and small pizzas. I never knew of this place because I'm not in their delivery radius and I don't often go to Renton. But passing by it, I appreciate a place that tells you what they offer from the outside. (Slices and drinks)! They are many cute/interesting options in the menu for a full pie ( goat cheese anyone?). But those options were more limited for slices. I do think it was partially because some pizzas were cooking in the oven and I came at the post noon time. The pre-order/pickup options didn't seem to advocate for slices. However, I was not deterred since my personal policy is to try a pepperoni slice when I first go to a pizza place (keeping things consistent is important for studies like these). The menu item is called pep perfection and you will see why in my photos. That slice was COVERED in pepperoni (from crust to the pizza point and width wise as well). I also need to appreciate that they had special boxes for their slices. So I was able to take it home and eat it on my couch. Overall, I was satisfied with my visit. If I'm hungry when in Renton, I would swing by for a bite (other than slices they have beer and appetizers to fill the void in your stomach) read more

Delivery and takeout available as well as dine in. Ordered the wall to wall pepperoni added sausage and cashews. The pizza came, not much sauce and the pizza was doughy and undercooked in the middle of the crust. I took a piece to show they took it back and put it back in the oven for under a minute. Pepperoni was spicy, couldn't taste the sausage. Threw away the two pieces that we started with. I got a 16" but feel ripped. It still seemed undercooked just slightly more warm temp wise. Read the reviews and thought this would be a great place to try but I gotta say, it was ok. I would rate it a 3.5. First it's very hard to find a parking spot. Not necessarily anything they can fix but maybe employees (all kinds of employee parking signs) need to park further away so there is room for customers. Ok. I got past that but when I walked into the place (7:20 pm). It was instantly like stepping into a sauna. It was cooler outside in the sun. Ok. I got past that. The lady at the counter was very friendly. The place was steady but not packed and looked clean. We easily found a table. We ordered the Pep Perfection Pizza and a garden salad a tea and a coke (fountain pop was down so cans only) After waiting 15 minutes we got up to ask about the salad. They said oh we bring that out with the pizza .. um lie. We saw another couple eating salad when we got there and there pizza showed up 10 minutes later. So we waited another 10 minutes in the sauna and our pizza showed up but no salad. Waited another 5 minutes after we mentioned it and it finally came. Ok. Got past that. Now the food. Garden salad was really good with fresh crisp lettuce, nice pieces of tomato, and mozzarella cheese which surprised me as my can of coke was sweating by now so I figured on a wilted salad, but it was good. The pizza however was meh. Lots of pepperoni which is always good, the sauce was good but I could not for the life of me see any cheese. "What you say", yep little to no cheese. I guess it's there way. It was still ok. Crust was chewy till you got to the outer edge where it was perfectly crunchy with just right amount of burn. So yeah I give it a 3.5.
