I moved to Washington about a month ago from Chicago. I've been looking for a decent pizza place ever since. This is the 5th place I've tried. I don't know what it is but so far Washington pizza is just straight up terrible no matter where I go. This place is no exception. The cheese is basically just burnt, orange, coagulated grease. I ordered it with garlic and didn't even notice the garlic. The crust is chewy and just...well...bad. I've noticed that chewy crust seems to be a thing out here. I don't get it. Do people like bubble gum pizza? I also got an order of the cheesy bread. Again, not good. I would have given this place a 1 star except for the fact that the Jalepeno Poppers were surprisingly decent. Pizza is one of my favorite foods but maybe I'll just have to give up on it out here. Pizza didn't arrive until 2:55 30 minutes after the delivery window and an hour after we got a text our order was out for delivery. I understand being busy on a Saturday especially a rainy day however they should've made it clear that they were running late or had the delivery person let the restaurant know what was going on. We used to come here all the time with the old owners. Our favorite pizza at the time with great customer service. We give this place a try once a month just to see if they finally get it together. The atmosphere is way too loud and overwhelming. No consideration for how loud the music is so the audience can converse and order their food without yelling. Staff is inattentive to details of food prep, and rarely ever checks on you when dining in. You get a 50/50 chance if you get hot pizza or cold pizza. The desserts are boring and you can tell come straight from a box. Staff is usually yelling at each other in the kitchen and is not a very inviting atmosphere from the staff. We came here for New Year's Eve and was happy with our food. We ordered the spicy pizza (can't remember the name), but it was delicious! We also ordered another pizza that was more "combo" like and that was yummy as well-but I felt the spicy one was my favorite. I even ate the crust-which I don't normally do. The service was good. This place is THE BEST. I happened upon it while in Renton recently to watch a performance of the Seattle Cascades Drum Corps, and I am SO glad I gave it a try. I was blown away by the friendliness of the employees, as well as the tastiness of the food. I came here with my toddler, who, as you can imagine, is NOT a pleasant dining partner. But the employees immediately took an interest in him, bringing him over a dinosaur book to look at (once they saw he was playing with a dinosaur toy), and never once did they complain or shoot me a nasty look when he was crawling all over the floor pretending to be a cat. They were patient, kind, and understanding, and for that, I am SO grateful. The atmosphere is also very creative. Lots of pictures and references to science fiction, so it was nerd heaven for a gal like me. Now...the food! I got a pepperoni stromboli, which is quite possibly the tastiest pizza-esque item I have ever eaten. It was fresh, generous, and came with marinara dipping sauce. My only regret is accidentally leaving the leftovers in my car too long so I couldn't eat it later. They made up a kids portion of butter noodles for my toddler, and he ate the entire thing - and this from a kid who is so hyper and distracted that he barely eats willingly! They also had a small table with free cookies, which I thought was a really nice touch (and the cookies were toddler approved). I came somewhere in between lunch and dinner, so I didn't get to experience the buffet. But, I can definitely say that when I'm back in Renton heading to IKEA or whatnot, I will be back. A bit out of the way if you are visiting Seattle, but really good! This place was really unexpectedly good. It's a local pizza joint that's kinda themed to sci-fi? A bit odd, I know. But it's actually really good! The garlic "bread" to start was great and then we got a very unique pizza that had cashews, goat cheese and salami. Weird sounding but amazing! Service was very friendly and the bathroom was clean. They also have a good selection of beers and wines, some of which are sci-fi themed and they also have a buffet during lunch periods. We visited around 6 and it was very slow, but I could see wait times being an issue with how small it is if you visited during peak periods. Knowing that Halloween Day was going to be really busy we placed our order online the day before for our party. When I arrived five minutes before my scheduled pick up time they have not started the order yet period. I was told that they were backed up and short staffed the same reasons that seems to be now the standard reason if they cannot meet the delivery time. They offer a lunch buffet choice of four pizzas, pasta and salad. On another note you can still order pizza whole or by the slice. How can you blow it making pizza with the largest wood fired oven made in Italy? Definitely the kind of great college pizza joint I've been looking for except there's no college nearby and there's actually available parking in downtown Renton. Walked in during covid and it was just me, the place was booming with people coming in and out! So I took my chance and there was a friendly man who greeted me (that's a Win in my book). I ordered online and it said it would be ready at 7:30-7:50 and it was, so I was in and out. I got home and popped it in the oven on 400 because I like my pizza HOT, it was surprising interesting. I was so excited to try. Heard amazing things about this pizza place. We had a horrible order. Cosmic chicken and Monkey bread. Cosmic chicken had maybe four pieces of chicken. Was missing bacon and it was thin as possible with barely any sauce. So dry and almost cardboard like. My daughter had the monkey bread and wound up throwing it away. It was burnt and very dry she said. I was able to get some pictures though. I can't imagine everyone is having this experience. I just wanted to let everyone know what happen with us.
