Extremely fast and efficient. Very kind and serving owner. You have to drive around the back to find the place. My GPS took me north of Moore Ave, but it is actually South. Owner is willing to work outside of business hours if you call him ahead of time. Cost me $60 and he submits the approval online, and I should be able to pay my registration online in 2 hours. Needed a last minute smog inspection and found this place thanks to yelp. Took my car in on a Thursday mid afternoon without an appointment. When I arrived there was one car ahead of me, but Sony (pronounced Sunny) immediately greeted me and told me my wait would only be about 20 minutes so I took a seat inside his shop. Sure enough, 20 minutes later, I was up. He's friendly, quick, and puts customers first. He tells his customers "See you in two years" as they leave. I'd definitely go back! read more

Saw this place on yelp, went in at 11am like someone said, came in, pulled up. Very friendly, told me to take a seat. Went straight to work, offered me a drink with my meal. This place is great! Sonny explained everything to us first hand because he's had others get angry and do things if you fail. Remember, he's the one who cannot fail you, it's all in the computer and software. Also, if you happen to have changed anything on the car such as the catalytic converter, O2 sensors and etc, let him know so he can help you out more. Make sure you keep you your car maintained and in point and you'll be fine. He wants to protect himself and does the job right. Don't' expect to pay him if you know you aren't going to pass. 5 stars! Do you know any other smog place open on New Year's Day? Call the owner to set up a appointment, we set up a same day appointment. In and out in less than 20 mins, and they sent my paperwork to the DMV for me. Luckily my car passed but they offer a free re-test if you don't pass. This place was great! Sony is awesome. I called and he said there was no wait so to hurry on over. I did and I was in and out in 20 minutes. While he did the smog test he looked around at my car (since I bought it yesterday) and told me everything looked great. He didn't have to but since he's a kind person he did. He also recommended a location for auto registration just a few minutes from his location since he saw I had my son with me...so I wouldn't have to spend an hour or more at the dmv. After getting "screwed" by Smog Express in Aliso Viejo (said they were open until 12:30 on Sunday, but closed at 11am)..my husband was in a time crunch to get his car smogged on a Sunday. After much "googling", I found Smog Only in Fullerton. It said they were open, so I called the number. It was actually a cell for the owner, and he said he does appointments only on Sundays. I told him our situation, and he said he would meet my husband at 1pm. My husband drove out there and then I was worried that he would be charged extra for Sunday (lots of places do!) and/or that he would be super up charged for having an older ('91) sports car. He was out the door, certificate included, for $60! That's cheaper than he's paid the last 2 times he had it smogged. We were VERY happy with the service and how nice the owner was. read more
