Have been coming here for over twenty years. I've never had a problem. The owner is very nice and efficient. Today he noticed that there was a cap off in my rear spring. So not only did he do the smog, he noticed an issue with my car. I took it straight to my mechanic. So great customer service plus going the extra mile. read more

Chuck was friendly, quick & efficient. I felt bad that it was close to when he was closing but he still took my car in which I appreciated. I highly recommend as hes been in the business a very long time and knows what hes doing. Theres even a shop cat that roams around!! Thanks again Chuck!! Happy new Year!! read more

Chuck is a great guy! He did my 04 Honda which is SULEV vehicle. Quick and easy no nonsense.

Very nice and welcoming. Spouse needed a smog check. First one popped up on google. Would definitely come here again.

This has been a long time over due review. This is a family run business and I always like to support those establishments if I can. I've been coming here for about 8-9 years I believe. I take all my vehicles here to get smog and referred several friends and family. Chuck is accommodating, knowledgeable and fair in his prices. I started going to CMC Smog due to some other "a$$HOLE once upon a time that tried to screw me and thought he would play games." I don't play games when I'm paying for a service and you're giving me some BS excuses why you are intentionally making it fail. I don't have time for that sh!t especially when you tell me to come back several times. Beware of this "a$$HOLE" who's establishment is on Palm / Lambert. I would put his name on blast here, but you guys can do your research and find out who this a$$HOLE is. If you need an honest smog test.... Go to CMC Smog in La Habra and ask for Chuck... he will take care of you.. !! ** Mabuhay ! ** read more

Chuck is a great owner and an even better person. I always take my car to get a smog check at this location and I've never had a problem and under 10 minutes. He is always upfront about everything. 5 stars !! read more

I have been coming here for years. They are so friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to getting my car smogged every other year just to see them! I highly recommend them. read more

Chuck will take very good care of you. This place is professional, fast, and reasonably priced. I have a 2007 Jeep and I was in and out in about 10 minutes. I've been going here for my last 4 smog checks. The experience has been consistently high quality. It's also not far from the AAA in Whittier so I get my Jeep smog checked and then I get my new tags from AAA in the same trip. It's actually super-easy, barely an inconvenience. read more

I've been to this location several times and I've always left satisfied knowing that the gentleman that works on my car is a true professional.... Thank you Chuck read more

I rode along with my friend to get his new (to him) car smog checked today. Chuck (the shop mech) talked about his new DAD smog machine for year 2000+ vehicles, very friendly fella. Anywho, my buddy's car was strapped in, tested, and the deed was done .. quick and clean if you catch my 'drift' - get it? (no but seriously, less than 15 minutes pretty much?). Thanks for the fast and friendly service! read more

After coming here for the last 4 years I will not be returning. The prices went up and the owner was saying negative things about the mechanic who serviced my vehicle. Long story short, La Habra Smog is my new place. No mechanic bashing, no raised prices despite specials showing up on Yelp. read more

The wife went here for her car and said the staff was friendly and helpful. My car's registration is now due, so I go here as well. Very glad that I did. Clean shop, very quick and professional service, and priced right. As an added bonus, I told the owner that we were trying to figure out what to do with an old unused car (junker) with an expiring registration that couldn't pass the test, and he told me about a program where if your vehicle does not pass, you can turn it in for money. Not sure how it all works, but at least he took the time to add an additional option to explore. read more

2 Years later and still the same fast and friendly service. I also took my wife's car in. Thanks for everything Chuck. I will be back!

Very strange, came here because of all the high reviews and coupon on their site. Don't be fooled like me. Got here around noon. Front of shop faces Lambert, but the testing is in the back, so I drove to the back. I was so happy since there were no other customers. Yay, no wait time. No such luck. Tech: how did you find us? Me: internet Tech: What car ? Me: boxster Tech: Can't do it for that price! Me: why not? Tech: got to open the back bla bla bla Me: so how much? Tech: go somewhere else. Me: so you don't do it? No answer. Me: I guess I go somewhere else. Tech mumbled something. Me: what did you say? Tech: what don't you understand? (In a impatient/aho kind of way.) Why the low rating? No apology for bait and switch coupon on webpage. Did not answer to my questions. Poor attitude. All this when no other customer is around. Is this a case of a lazy tech when the owner is not around? An owner tech with too much on his mind and too much money to turn away a paying customer during slow time? Did I interrupt his lunch? Left here extremely dissappointed and confused. read more

Great, fast and friendly service. I called the day before for a quote on my truck, went in the next day and paid exactly what was quoted. It was also very affordable for this family on a budget. It only took about 10 minutes to service, which was very fast for this mama with toddlers. Very friendly owners, I enjoyed conversing with the wife. She made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I totally recommend this place to get your smog check. read more

I highly recommend this smog facility. Quick, friendly and honest service. The waiting area is a little small, but there is A/C, magazines and a doughnut shop next. read more

I take my cars here anytime get the DMV smog notice. Their office is easily accessible and the waiting room is clean with plenty of seating and magazines. The staff and technician are friendly and professional. They have been licensed and in business a long time and I trust them with my car. read more

Pretty shady service, Make sure you ask alot of questions before you give him money, apparently if you unplug your cars battery you need to put some miles on it before you go get it tested. Unfortunately being unfimliliar with cars I did not know that and they failed to mention anything before we proceeded with the service and payment. Now I'm out 30 bucks and I have to pay to get my car smogged again, so much for supporting small business! Never again! read more

I came in with my check engine light and they should have told me then that it was not going to pass. They also should have told me they do not do free retest and tried to tell me places that places that do are scams. While I was waiting they asked me if I knew anyone who needed Medicare and dental insurance. They don't do repairs so why would I come back? Go to JJ Star complete auto repair. Great guys! read more

Excellent services! Jenny is helpful and friendly. Chuck helps me in and out only 20 mins. The price is fair too. I highly recommended this place. Overall is great. read more

Pro: The tech is very fast and nobody was there (don't know if they're always empty) so I was in and out quickly Con: The woman running the front desk lacks personality. I don't like how there were extra fees added onto the coupon price that were not listed on the coupon. So it turned out being more than I had anticipated. I should have gone with someone advertising, "no hidden fees." I also didn't appreciate how they won't accept checks and they charge to use a credit card (which is actually against all credit card policies). It makes me feel like they are just wanting a lot of under the table CASH to not have to claim taxes on. Let's face it, we all hate paying taxes, but why should I have to pay taxes on my income when someone else is practically forcing customers to either pay cash or pay extra to likely avoid taxes. read more

Very friendly, knowledgeable proprietor. Convenient, only took 10 minutes and very affordable. Best Smog test experience I've ever had.

Had to do urgent smog test for my exotic toy today and called them. They said they can do my car and I drove there right away. The place is owned by family and the owner was a great guy. The process was short and easy. Great service! read more

Seriously for someone on a tight schedule, I never have time to do anything. I had a airbag light on in my car on, and I was scared it would not pass the test. I sent them an email, thinking it may take days until I get a reply, but they replied ASAP. Told me to bring it right in, that they only test the engine. So I went the next day, and they took me right in, filled out simple questions, and they took my car right in. (2000 and above cars can be taken in asap) Literally took 10 minutes! Got my paper work, and they were super nice the whole time, unlike other stations! I even god 10$ off because of using Yelp to find them. Seriously come here! read more

Great place for smog. What more can I say. One of the oldest and most experienced in La habra, 15 years. Service is quick and very professional. Price is good. they will honor reasonable coupons. Just present it before invoice is written up. Not the next day. Give them a try and you will be happy. Thanks Chuck ! read more
