Came in right at 8am expecting quick service and a smooth experience, but it was the complete opposite. I was the first customer there and both the front doors and gates were still locked. Ended up waiting about 15 minutes past opening time just for them to let me in, and no one even bothered to greet me. After finally getting inside, I was told it would still be about an hour wait for a basic oil change -- despite me being the only customer there. That made no sense. I decided to leave and went to another shop across the street, where I was in and out in 20 minutes. Big difference in professionalism and efficiency. Definitely won't be coming back. Buyer beware!! About a year ago I brought my 2023 Ram in for a oil change. I received a coupon in mail. Trying to save a few bucks cost me 2200 in extra repairs. I brought my truck in on a Saturday, from what it seemed it was done pretty quick staff was nice honoring coupon. Come Monday morning driving to work my check oil light came on. Got to work and oil was dripping from bottom of truck? Maybe something wasn't put on right or screwed in correctly, I called them and they said bring it in and they'll fix it. I had it towed in. They had it all day Tuesday. I called to check on it they said they were cleaning it and it should be ready by later that day. I called before going to get it to find out there was a problem. I walked over and head mechanic explained to me that dodge installed a plastic housing on oil filter and it was defective. The housing is cracked and for the low snap financed price of 2200. They can install a metal one and dodge would reimburse me. WAIT WHAT?? My truck is a year old, i get it plastic parts can get old and crack under extreme weather , but this is California? And my truck is a year old. He has mentioned that he had set the torque wrench to a specific torque and left it for his oil tech. My assumption was that his tech tightened to tight and cracked it. Ok so why do I need to pay for the technician mistake, who I found out that they had fired that poor guy. They kept repeating that dodge will reimburse me, apply for snap finance and they will install the metal part. We went back and forth as to why I have to come out of pocket?? I decided to just have it towed back to dodge I asked them to put it back together and I'll have it towed. When I got there to tow it, one of the mechanics that took it apart said" hurry up and get it out so we can get back to work" i guess he was upset that he had to take it apart and somewhat put it back together again. I had asked head mechanic if it was put back together, he said that they left the housing that covers the engine off to make it easier for Dodge to get in and , install the correct part. To my assumption. Everything was put back as it was before they had taken it apart. Had it towed to Dodge the next morning. Dodge called and said they weren't going to Install the part for me. Because the Xpert Auto had completely taken apart everything under the hood, and they weren't going to touch it because they didn't want to be responsible for something else being wrong with the engine.. On top of that, they had mentioned that my warranty was now void the only way they would fix it is if we paid 2200 to Dodge, to put it all back together again the correctly. and have my warranty reinstated. WONDERFUL. see what I get for trying to save a few bucks. My wife and I called xpert auto multiple times to see if they would pay for the damages. All we got from them was, bring it back to us. We'll put it back together. Weren't they supposed to put it back together before I had it towed? The mechanics at Dodge had stated that the engine looked like it was just taken apart randomly pieces were everywhere. xpert auto service refused to reimburse us or help us out and make it right.. So unfortunate we had taken multiple cars there in the past and never had any issues like this. A good shop would take responsibility for a mistake and fix it. So if you go there for a simple service and they offer you snap finance to fix it, get a second opinion. read more
