Sorry, this gonna be long since I actually came here 3 times so here's my review for the three visits. My car shakes when i drive so i called and the guy told me to come in and they can do the alignment and look into it so we scheduled an appointment for the following week 1st visit Arrived at 8 (when they open) and gave my key to Mike and told him about the problem again and he said he will look into it. I took a walk to get breakfast and coffee. Got a call around 10ish to come back, they told me it is the rear links and i need to replace it and then they can do the alignment. they said they can't order it from tesla (which turned out to be a lie). So they charged me for the inspection and told me to bring it back when i have the part. After i got the part from tesla. i scheduled another appointment. 2nd visit I took another half day from work since i assumed i would be done by 11. I dropped the car off at 8. Again i took a walk to get some food, but after 3 hours i came back and the car was not ready, they asked if i wanted to change my break but then it would take another hour and a half so i told them no since i am already late for work but i will pay for the break and everything now and do it next time. I didnt get my car back till 12:30pm...and they told me the car still shakes and they think it's the front wheel. 3rd visit Dropped by at 8:30 and gave mike my key and he said he will call me when it is done. They had like 2 people there already. I figured it would take 1:30 -2 hours and since my wife was off we went to the gym and then brunch. I didnt get any calls so we went home. At 1:30 PM i called to check up on the status and they said maybe another hour or an hour and a half. my wife dropped me off at 3:30pm and I was literally the only customer and my car was still on the lift. Anyways, i was able to get out of there by 4. Took 8+ for a break change with an appointment?!?! So after 3 visits my car still shakes but i got new brakes (hopefully) and alignment done. I am not sure why they have so many good reviews..... i also noticed mike took in walk-ins when i was waiting around...so i am not sure why i had to make an appointment but others dont. I left really impressed after taking my car to have my brakes done earlier this week. Fast , affordable and best of all, extremely friendly. Mike was the service manager and seriously couldn't have been any nicer. I was sure I'd need new rotors, but after an inspection they said that wasn't necessary and with some machining I would be good. Saved me a couple of hundred bucks. They've moved the main shop up to the building that faces Whittier Blvd. Office is to the left. The customer lounge is really nice. Bright, clean and comfortable. Looked around for a place that could do an alignment on my Tesla Model 3. America's Tire, Discount Tire, and others weren't familiar. Mike and Jacqline were helpful, friendly and fair. I made an appointment for the same day. They did an alignment check and adjust the toe settings for a very fair price. The tech was friendly and professional, too. My son's brakes were making a weird noise. I sent him over to Dave's. They couldn't replicate the issue, took the brakes apart to inspect to determine what was causing the noise. They advised my son that the pads should be replaced at the next oil change. Was only charged $20. Had I taken it to the dealer, it would have been minimum $100. We'll be back! Thank you! read more

I'm sorry to have to write this because I believed this to be a honest shop with a AAA rating. I had just rotated and balanced my tires and took it here to have my front end realigned. After a test drive they put it on the rack and started inspecting the front end for ware. They came back stating I had idler and Pittman arms and a lower ball joint in need of replacement. My next door neighbor is a retired front end and brake shop owner so I had him take a look and he couldn't find anything wrong. He had me take it to another friend of his who had an alignment shop with a rack. He also inspected it and found nothing wrong. They quoted me $1300 dollars for these unneeded repairs. Sad read more

My car belt broke outside of Shakeys right next-door and my water pump was leaking so they diagnose that and other problems that are not critical but they are able to get my car done as soon as possible which was really fast I really recommend the shop. They are honest work and give you any diagnosis and give you the option if you want to fix it or not unlike these other mechanics, they let you know if it's critical or not, and don't hustle you. Prior to today's visit, I stumbled upon this auto repair place while looking for a good alignment shop to align my tires after I bought four new tires. I'm here today to get my car's oil change. I noticed that while I was checking out to pay on my first visit, that this auto shop offers other auto services. They have numerous shops at this one location. Dave's Brake & alignment Cannon's Muffler Service LAVco Automobile Service Charles Automotive K-W Automotive Fast Lane Oil Change My first visit was for an alignment. This shop had great reviews on Yelp, so I came to get my car serviced at this shop. After they checked my alignment, they just charged me a $40 inspection fee since I didn't need an alignment since my balance was perfect. I was very impressed that they were very honest with me that I didn't need to align my tires. The guy name Mike at the front service desk is always very friendly and nice. He offers me water every time I visit. The shop has charging cords and ports to charge your electronic device while you wait. The waiting area is very clean and spacious. Not what you expect from your typical repair shop ...will definitely return and recommend. Honesty and timeliness has not been my experience with other repair shops. I found Dave's on Yelp after receiving a lengthy estimate of needed repairs at Midas ...$1,800 worth of repairs, so naturally I needed a second opinion. Mike was great! I was seen at my appointment time, he took time to educate me on my car and was all around honest. My car ended up not needing the service Midas recommended so I walked out paying a minima inspection fee -- saving myself hundreds. Thanks Mike for being one of the Good Guys! I've only taken my 2016 Infiniti to the dealer for all it's service needs, so I was a bit apprehensive about taking it anywhere else. But since I was having a difficult time getting an appt. at the dealer that fit my schedule, I decided to bring my car for new brake pads to Dave's since it's close to home. They quoted me $200 per axle, but told me they would assess it first and let me know a more accurate price before they proceeded. Low and behold, Jaclyn called about 30 minutes later to inform me that only the rear axle needed to be replaced. My car was done by lunch time and the total cost was only $208.57. I needed my brakes repaired, so I did my homework first. Read everything I needed to know about what to expect when replacing or repairing brakes. I found Dave's shop on the IATN list. When I walked into the office you immediately know it's a family business. I was greeted by the wife holding their infant child and three dogs were in the back. I was ready to be overcharged for the repairs. That never happened. I was only charged for the front brakes because the back brakes were fine. I found this business honest and efficient. Very busy place! They have expanded to include many more bays and other businesses all tied together under one umbrella. I dealt with Mike and he was very cordial. In the end my car only needed the toe aligned and the lower price was exactly what he predicted. I won't know until my new tires get some mileage on them to tell how they did with my alignment. Using online resources to find the best place to go to for business can be a pain in the ass since we rely on reviews so much. Since this place only had 11, it made me a little weary. But seriously, they need more positive reviews. Linsey was great. He called with a quote, ordered the parts I needed, got everything done in a timely manner, and even went the extra bit to help me learn something new about my car. This place was a lot cheaper than the place I normally go to. I'm pretty sure I may be going here for now on.
