Within about an hour, he figured out that it wasn't the air flow sensor at all--it was just a blown fuse. That alone saved me a lot of money and potentially from being overcharged elsewhere. What really stood out was the honesty and communication. He explained clearly what went wrong, didn't try to upsell anything, and made sure I understood the situation. On top of that, he even aired up my tires for free, which was a nice touch. Fast, honest, and affordable service like this is hard to find. Langston told me that Carson had given me the incorrect quote over the phone, which was fine; I just said I would go elsewhere for cheaper. When I told him this, he responded that his prices are the way they are because he uses quality parts. I asked him if the part would be aftermarket, and he said "it's Japanese." That didn't answer my question, so I asked him if the brand was Denso, and he said "yes, that's Japanese, right?" Aside from my interaction with him, I saw Langston being rude and giving attitude to my guy Carson after he came back from his break for no reason at all. I ended up going elsewhere to get the job done with the same Denso part for $100 less (close to the original quote that Carson gave me). Moral of the story is that I don't trust Langston, and I certainly don't like how he was treating Carson. Maybe he was having a bad day, but his attitude today was enough to make me question coming back here in the future (which is unfortunate because everyone else here is really kind and patient). It was not. He was wedged in there for 12 hours with no food, no water, and zero litter box access. He was absolutely losing it. I ran through every option. Fire department? Busy with the actual chemical explosion rattling all of OC, fair. Animal control? Ghosted me. My cousin, currently out of the country, tried Tesla Roadside Assistance through the app. Tesla's answer: their technicians are not trained to rescue animals. Noted, but deeply unhelpful in the moment. Two other mechanics passed too. Jesse was my third Yelp attempt and my last real option. He showed up within two hours, no fuss, and got straight to work. He tried everything - the frunk, underneath, removing the right wheel - methodically working different angles for an hour and a half because my cat had chosen the most inconvenient possible position to be chonky in. Jesse stayed patient the entire time and got him out safely. My cat is home. He is fine. He is completely unbothered, as cats are. Jesse showed up when nobody else could. That is not something I will forget. Oh, and his prices are insanely reasonable. If you need a mechanic who will actually show up and problem-solve, Jesse is your guy.

During that entire time, Jesse never contacted me to ask whether the part had arrived or to follow up on the work I had already paid him to do. I eventually had to reach out to him myself. Over the following three weeks, I sent multiple text messages and called several times, all of which were ignored. After getting nowhere, I called from a different number--and suddenly Jesse answered. His excuse was that he had been "busy." I asked him to send me my money back and he hung up and blocked my number. In total, nearly two months passed after he took my money with no communication, no follow-up, and no attempt to complete the service. Being busy may explain a delayed response. It does not explain ignoring a paying customer for over two months while continuing to keep their money. That is not poor time management; it is poor business practice. There was an $80 diagnostic fee, so technically I am only out $40. Financially, it is not a huge loss. Professionally, however, it says everything I need to know about this business. A reputable business does not take payment, fail to complete the agreed-upon service, ignore every attempt at communication, and then offer excuses only after being reached from a number it does not recognize. The motorcycle needed a diagnosis, but the bigger problem turned out to be the business itself: unreliable, unresponsive, and completely lacking in accountability. I would not trust Jesse with my motorcycle again, and I certainly would not recommend paying him anything upfront.

I just took my car for maintenance recently and they advised that the tire they sold me here is 10 years old!!! aside from that. they also stripped 3 of the lug bolts that i now also have to replace. horrible. do not go by yourself, have your husband or a man with you. do not recommend.

They took the time to explain the repair, confirmed the diagnostic code, and even pointed out a few things I should do to help my Prius last longer. They noticed my hybrid battery cooling fan was missing after I told them I just had it "replaced" at another shop. That's the kind of information you don't usually get from a repair shop. They ended up not needing to drop the subframe, so they adjusted the labor instead of charging me for work they didn't have to do. It still took the amount of time they said it was going to take, but still discounted me a little bit which I thought was cool. I also had them do an oil change while it was there, and even that was less expensive than what I normally pay at places like Jiffy Lube or Valvoline. If you own a Prius or any hybrid, I'd definitely recommend checking them out. More than anything, I left feeling like they genuinely know these cars and took the time to educate me, not just fix it. I'll definitely be bringing my Prius back if I ever need anything else.

After doing some research, I found Action Auto in Cypress and spoke with Mark. From the very first phone call, Mark was friendly, professional, and transparent. Best of all, his quote was about half the price of what the dealership wanted to charge. The convenience was a huge bonus. They told me I could bring my car in anytime between 8am-5pm (and even Sundays 8am-3pm). I dropped off my car at 8:30am, and it was ready by lunchtime the same day. On top of that, they even offered a complimentary shuttle ride home--something the dealership no longer provides. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free. Mark's customer service was outstanding both over the phone and in person. The shop itself was clean and well-organized, and I noticed several repeat customers while I was there, which says a lot about their reputation. Scheduling was easy, and I was able to get an appointment the following Saturday morning. I dropped off my car and took a walk to a nearby café to have breakfast while they worked on it. They also have a nice air-conditioned waiting room if you prefer to wait on-site. I returned about 90 minutes later, and waited while they finished up. I take great care of the car, but every time they're done with it, it looks better than day one off the dealer floor. Steve informed me that the PPF and ceramic coating was in great shape. He also educated me that the ceramic coating on the hood wears faster than the rest of the car. They re-coated the hood for no extra charge. What service! Again, I left Elevance very happy with my initial choice to have them apply everything and returning annually for their customer only inspection and detail service. Steve and his staff are extremely professional and friendly. If you need PPF, wrapping, ceramic coating, or window tint, check out my previous reviews and go with Elevance!

However, the more I continue to see all the errors and defects on my vehicle the more dissatisfied I feel about the results. There are multiple areas crinkling and bunched up, even right after my wrap and more so now down the line. I've added some photos for reference but there are waaaay more I'm not posting that I'd like to count. My biggest issue that has been on my mind to this day is that my cars mileage increased 30 miles from when I initially dropped it off. I brought this issue up to Steve and he explained it's because they did my wheels, the body work, and test drove it but thirty miles is excessive in my opinion. One of his workers I feel definitely took my car for a joy ride and perhaps Steve is covering for them. The mileage doesn't bother me, it's the negligence, irresponsibility, and disrespect for my property of whoever drove my car. Again, Steve has been responsive since day one but his staff (who worked on my vehicle) on the other hand fell very short of the quality and expectations his shop seems to give out through their platforms. I feel like I was one in the hundreds of people who had a really bad job done. No one is perfect and I'm just that one mistake of a customer, unfortunately. All in all, zero stars for the wrap job and 3 stars for Steve's efforts and customer service and 4 stars for the body work and wheels. However, I would recommend to keep an eye on your odometer when you drop it off since it seems like his employees might have an inclination to have some fun when no one is looking or when the "test drive" is being done. I have a camera in my vehicle but when I checked it someone disconnected it almost immediately after dropping it off according to the time stamps. Little sus to me. Thank you, Steve for your kindness and doing your best to resolve each issues you may not have had your hands on directly but if I could truly resolve my dissatisfaction (especially for the money I paid) I'd prefer to redo my wrap in all the area it was defective.

Hi he "fixed" Prius and sold it to me. Basically Prius have been bought from his client. He said he rebuild battery but it died the next day I bought it. I made huge research before buying Prius and asked a few tech questions which should be easy for him such as we're cells swapped, and was the cell balancing done. He didn't understand none of them. So basically I wasn't surprised that battery failed... but it's pitty. went to another shop and they said that previously battery been touched but assembled very bad. ( I also found a lot of "extra bolts" in my trunk.) They also said that new cells are used one and not in the perfect shape. Overall he just made this battery looks like ok, but as soon as car gets into heavy traffic, when battery works most, it fails. I been told that no rotation been made, looks like this gentleman just replaced the total dead cells. I wouldn't go to him, and wish this story to help others not to buy cars and not to give him cars, he will make dramma and buy your car for cheap to make low skilled fix and he also will refuse warranty... He been showing me this account and asked to call the number, and all mached. So he also can try to sell you a car by jumping a title. Tesla repairs, installs, maintenance, etc etc etc. anything but custom, this isn't really a full custom place( call and ask) but if you are looking to keep your tesla on the road without going through tesla center($). This is the next stop. Only down side is that parking is very limited, it is relatively hard to find, and there isn't really a designated waiting area. That being said, all repairs or work is on appointment based only to reduce this problem, there are 3 other shops near by that make it easier to find once you locate the sign. As far as waiting area, there is a american style diner down the street it's good but waiting 2-3 hours can be a bit of a drag so make sure to bring a charger or some entertainment device. (resturant is very understanding, due to lots of mechanic shops down the street to them so they don't kick you out, just buy something and don't disturb the rest of the guests there[common sense]) Overall David and his team are very nice open about their experience, work, and most importantly they are not shy about giving you a quote but keep in mind if there are other problems as they fix things, these are unavoidable adages based off the problem; is not exclusive to this shop. read more

I had an excellent experience with Electric City Tesla Specialists in Stanton. My 2021 Tesla Model 3 Long Range had a squeaking noise whenever I turned the steering wheel, and the team took the time to properly diagnose the issue instead of guessing. They performed a thorough inspection, clearly explained what was worn, provided photos, and walked me through the recommended repairs. I ended up replacing the front suspension components they identified, and the difference is night and day. The squeak is completely gone, the car drives great, and it honestly feels tighter and smoother than before. What I appreciated most was their communication and transparency throughout the process. Highly recommend Electric City. My 2015 Tesla Model S suddenly showed the CHG_u015 alert: "Supercharging / DC Fast Charging Disabled, Try AC Charging." Tesla remotely reviewed the issue and suggested the onboard charging assembly might need replacement, with an estimated cost of over $3,000. I also checked with other EV shops and received mixed responses including $1200 for charging assembly and long wait times. Electric City diagnosed my car the very next day after drop-off, provided a loaner option. They cleared the fault and restored Supercharging with no unnecessary repairs and only charged the diagnosis fee instead of jumping straight to parts replacement. Professional, honest, and knowledgeable. They even gave me helpful advice on an unrelated issue with my Lexus. Great experience overall. read more

Even though my particular repair ended up done somewhere else (DIY), they still took the time to inspect my Tesla, explain everything they found, and answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. David was especially awesome super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. It's rare to find a shop that treats people that well, even when they don't end up doing the repair. I had a great experience at Electric City! They quickly diagnosed and fixed a possible coolant leak, and their work was top-notch. Not only was the service done efficiently, but it was also much cheaper than the quotes I received from the official Tesla service centers. A big shoutout to Abraham, the service advisor--he was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. My Kia Optima Hybrid didn't want to start when I got out of work and I had to pick up my kids , was in a bind I found hybrid 911 here was skeptical because of some of the review mentioning a Jacob. Or if there were major issues to expect down the road, I could look into getting a new car instead of fixing this one. Ethan V. greeted me on his lunch break but made sure to listen to why I was there and gave me an idea of how long the wait would be and what to expect. Fortunately the car had a nearly clean bill of health. That is to be expected because I kept up with regular maintenance on the car. But they did recommend a few items to address to extend the useful life of the car: (1) Control Arms and Bushings had moderate wear, (2) my second set of tires had 3mm of tread, (3) the cabin air filter was a little worse for wear. My main concern, and why I brought it to this shop, was for hybrid red flags like battery issues. As Ethan explained to me, without taking apart the hybrid battery, it would not be possible to give a comprehensive health check for it. But since there were no error codes that came up that would indicate a problem with the hybrid system, the battery was still in good condition. He mentioned an anecdote of other Niros he's seen that that had 200k with the original battery to allay my concerns. He mentioned that I should also consider replacing the spark plugs probably due the mileage of the car. After giving me an estimate on what the cost would be if I decided to have them work on the issues, he said he could apply the paid inspection cost on the work if I decided to proceed in the next 30 days. Overall I had a great first visit with Electron and would consider returning if I decide to move forward with the recommended upkeep repairs.

Cesar said they skipped the rotation because my car "didn't need it" but tires should be rotated every 5k and I was due. My car still had OEM tires with wheel locks, and the dealership had neglected to give me the key to remove the tires, which I didn't know at the time. Bad on the dealer, bad on Electron, they almost certainly noticed and could've flagged it instead of the brush-off. Months later I had a blowout and couldn't change the tire because of that missing key. Would've saved me from being stranded. Friendly staff, mystery oil change, phantom rotation.

This time it was a bad fuel pump that was damaged after I ran out of gas and tried to start the car several times. Now, let me ask an engineering & design question. Would you integrate the fuel pump inside of the fuel tank so that when (not if) the fuel pump fails, you have to replace the entire gas tank assembly?? After all... this is not rocket science!!! Who designed this??? Valentine was very accommodating and explained the problem and the solution to me before any work started. This makes any customer confident that he brought his vehicle to the right place. I highly recommend these guys to work on your hybrid vehicle.

I originally brought my car in after getting a warning to stop immediately. I called around and got multiple quotes and they had the best deal. Andrew who answered the phone was incredibly friendly and correctly diagnosed it as a battery issue right away. He walked me through the difference between a refurbished and new battery and I chose the refurbished option which came with a one year warranty. Unfortunately the battery failed shortly after but never in my life have I experienced customer service like this. They offered to pick up my car and drop off a loaner. That alone is exceptional. Owner Ivan took full responsibility without hesitation and the turnaround time was phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. I don't live nearby but I will absolutely be coming back for all future service. They really take pride and joy in making sure that everything is done well and will provide a solution with the utmost customer service.

Let us know all the routes we can take and always communicated to us what each part and labor costs (even included pictures of the what needed to be replaced and explained why) and always asked approval before moving forward with anything. They were beyond reasonable in pricing every step of the way and very well organized. We picked up the car and everything was done exactly as expected, the price was exactly what he had quoted us and what we had approved (unlike other shady shops who tack things on later). The repair did take a bit longer than expected, but honestly, with the complexity of Porsche's hybrid braking system, it made total sense. With that said, TSK Tesla Service is the absolute best service center I have ever been to in my 12 years of owning a Tesla. Had a hit and run happen to me, and with the help of some law enforcement, was able to get info from the other side. I came here for a quote and Sam was very helpful in giving me an accurate estimate (it ended up being very close in the end) and also explaining to me the process of the insurance. Had I listened to the law enforcement, I would have been dealing with a much longer case, as Sam recommended I do not get my insurance involved at all and only file with the opposing side. I dropped off my car in the first week of February and got my car back in the first week of March. Most of the delay had to do with insurance and supplements and adjuster approvals/rejections which opposing insurance kept trying to involve me but Sam was glad to take care of everything when I forwarded the communication to him. I was probably a pain in the butt calling them and asking for an update every week but Sam and Sergei were very awesome people to work with. They were able to provide me a rental for the duration of the repair and it was a equivalent/higher model than my car so that was nice. On the final day upon pickup, the repair was done perfectly and they also ended up fixing a hinge issue with my trunk that they noticed while working on the car. This was a very pleasant surprise, because since I purchased my current car in 2023, Tesla's official service center has repeatedly told me that there is no hinge issue with my trunk despite me bringing to them multiple times for closure and striker issues. I said NOTHING to TSK about it and yet they noticed and fixed it. That's some stellar service right there, going above and beyond what the expectation was. Picking up the car, the exterior and interior was all cleaned up very nicely and some light detailing was done. Got some cool merch too from TSK which is always a nice touch. Small things like that show that TSK really does care about their customers. Glad to also hear they are opening up another location in Santa Ana, so I could recommend it to my parents who live closer over there. Thanks for everything, TSK!

The waiting room and what I saw of the service bay was very clean. I talked to Atrak (who I believe is the Manager based on other reviews and his name sounds like he belongs in a Fast & Furious movie, which rules,) and he showed me what they did to my car and gave me suggestions on what else I could do to improve the AC. I specifically chose the word SUGGEST because nobody tried to pressure me to do anything. I drive an old Honda that runs great despite 170k miles and I have no real interest investing a lot of money aside from basic maintenance and it was refreshing not having to explain that repeatedly just to get out of there. The price I was quoted was the price they charged me, which was also very nice. Obviously a quote can change depending on the circumstance but for this particular case it was the same. Everyone I talked to or even walked past all gave a smile and asked how I was doing. Very friendly atmosphere. Long story short: Nice place that can be easily overlooked given the area. I'll be back to ask them if they can see what other basic low cost maintenance things can be done to keep my Honda running another 50k miles.
