I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes. You cannot see it from the street. Look for the sign that is on Yelp. Looks like a really good set up for the gentleman running the business. The only problem is this place is expensive compared to some others in the area. $60 when its all said and done. The cheapest local place was $34 bucks. That's nearly half! In the 20 years I have been driving, this is the easiest and most pleasant smog check experience I've ever had. The owner is very nice and helpful, and he was open on a Sunday (my only day off). He said I was his only customer that day. The shop is tucked away in the corner among a few other car-related businesses on the East side of Gilbert, South of Chapman/Malvern. He told me the cost over the phone and what time to come in (less than an hour). When I arrived he did his magic with the Bluetooth smog gadget and told me how long it would take, updating me every few minutes on how much longer, chatting with me to make the time pass. Honestly, Sonny is the nicest guy in the world; I wish he did other car services, just so I could visit more often. Most car smog places are crowded and it takes forever, I would highly recommend going here, I think all the other reviews are a testament to how great this guy is. read more

Sonny, the owner, is a very sweet man who graciously welcomed my boyfriend and I from Wisconsin as he performed my car's first ever smog check. He made friendly conversation during the procedure (which took about five minutes) asking about Wisconsin and pointing out where in my car the salt from the roads had done the most damage to my trusty Impala. The total cost was $60 for the check and certification sent right to the DMV. The bill was paid upfront and he offered a free retest should my car have failed (not that that was likely because he didn't use a sniffer, just plugged in the scanner thing; To be honest I didn't think my car was going to pass; sure, she got us the 3000 miles from Milwaukee to Los Angeles but it was a loud ride as I believe there is a small leak in my muffler.) I definitely recommend this place, if not just to support the sweet man who runs it! read more
