So much improved since becoming Smitty's! The food is good again and the service is great. Reasonable drink prices and better food. I didn't give it full stars because the steak sandwich is beef processed sliced meat and not shaved steak. My steak and cheese was disappointing. The steak was rubbery sandwich slices. That's were the negative ends though. Drinks are stout, service is great. Crowd is great and so down home. We visited on a Tuesday night with is karaoke night! Starts at 7pm and until 10p when the place closes. Great hours for a weeknight. Comfy booths and tables. We live just a few miles south and happy to put Smitty's back into our dinner rotation.

is located in Hell Michigan a dive bar/a biker bar vibe. There are lots of people in there that are non-bikers though they have a decent selection of beers on draft and the food was high-quality bar food. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich, which I really enjoyed, and I thought the fries are really good as well. My friend got the deep dish pizza which she said was good and it wasn't too deeply breaded. Our waitress was nice and helpful. I would come back again.

Ohh, this is a cool tavern in Hell, MI. I didn't try any food but I had two very, very delicious cocktails and also tried my friends which were super tasty. The vibe in here is Hell-related but the vibes are positive and feel good. They have live music on weekends, sell items such as their Bloody Mary mix and pickled beets, and they have lots of cool merch. I look forward to coming back, this place is totally my jam.

Great stop for lunch or dinner and a beer or two when near Pinckney. The saloon is open on Mondays and has a great little menu including house made pasties. We stopped by after a hike in the area and enjoyed a delicious hot Italian sub and fresh delicious fries. Next visit I need to check out their pasties.

Interesting bar in Hell. Don't you want to go to hell and back? You can! It's not far and makes for an interesting road trip. We grabbed a beer and my first chicken pastie. It was yummy and filling- NO, I didn't mind the rutabaga! Staff is friendly and not overly so which is nice. The decor is bone chilling as one might expect. Take a good look around when you go- including the rafters.

Was an aging biker bar when I went Saturday afternoon. Service was focused on larger groups. Food was disappointing: Dark Deity was more like a Swiss Angel and lacked any heat, despite claim it contained jalapeños and secret hot sauce. If you are with small children, not great idea. If you are after memorable food, go up the street.

This isn't going to be a place that you brag about the food or the service, but it's so unique and fun that it's worth it! The food is just average bar food, nothing impressive. The service was just okay - our waitress did fine with the basic server tasks, but lacked a smile or much of a friendly personality. The Bloody Mary mix is absolutely delicious - we bought some bottles to take home - but the area where you get your "add ons" for it could use some cleaning. The decor is what makes it though - plastic rats in the ceiling, poison bottles, devils - it's accessorized with anything that can help make it feel like hell. It's unique and quirky and worth a stop if you are going through hell. We drove 45 minutes just to check out this saloon and the other 1-2 building that make up Hell, and have no regrets. It's fun!!

Friendly staff, attentive. Fish and chips were average, fries dark brown, crust of fish too thick. You will meet a lot of bikers.

    Do they serve blue gills?

I saw them on the menu recently, they may be seasonal however. I saw perch, bluegills, cod, and walleye.

I mean people were borderline fanatic on a Commerce residents group and I'm a pizza lover so I had very high expectations. I ordered a small antipasto, a small 10" so- called "Detroit style pizza, the biscuits, and their breadsticks. $60 (with Delivery and $5 fees; thx slice app!). Upon delivery it LOOKED impressive and again was very hopeful that this was about to change the pizza landscape for all. Upon taste it did nothing of the sort. Detroit style was like a pie with pizza topping inside it. That's NOT Detroit style. Matter of fact that's a disservice to the likes of the true style. "Toppings" were undercooked while the crust was a bit tough. Breadsticks were bland and doughy. Biscuits were actually crispy. Antipasto was very amateur and the Italian dressing was nothing but oil. Highly disappointing experience overall. Have no clue what the rage was about. This was failure on a pretty high level. Not going to bother with UP again. Sticking to tried and true pizza joints. Will say the pics of the food came out looking amazing but the fulfillment of the product was very dissatisfying.

With chocolate milk Smokehouse pasta with the French onion soup And the Zukey melt with a soda. The meal started off great. Mott sticks hard to mess up. And the soup was amazing. I had such high hopes for all the local praise. But was all down hill from there. The kids spaghetti was penne noodles and red sauce. Pickyier kids would pushed that away The smokehouse pasta was just a steak Marsala but how the onion soup was sooo good the pastas carmalized onions were at best translucent red onions that I picked around. As for the zukey melt. They brought it out with the disclaimer that it only looked burnt bc it's rye bread. Sure tasted burnt. With hardly any cheese or onions. Basically a meat Pattie. That was so bad in fact we didn't bother to bring the left overs home. Now I got left over pasta for myself and the kid. But the real no thanks never again was the bill. With tip it was $97. Which ain't bad I guess in today's world. But if I want a meh meal that leaves us all disappointed we could get a pizza from hungry howies for $15

My girlfriend doesn't even like pizza. She LOVED Joes. The interior feels like they took the NY location and turned it to a warm break spot for those freezing their a** off and wanted something hot, homemade and FRESH out of the oven. Celebrities like Dua Lipa, 50 Cent, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Etc. EVERYONE LOVES JOES. Question is, and the most important of them all; does Dave like Joe? I don't know we had beef in kindergarten, let's see if I've finally stiffened up to him. I'm happy to say, a plain cheese pizza with basil does the trick beautifully. Delicious, foldable even though it doesn't flop. The sauce is easy to digest and so is the crust; I ate 5 huge slices and didn't feel a thing, it's so light and sweet. But it's crunchy! I got well done so I knew there wouldn't be any flop jalop. Perfection. Cheese was outstanding, crust showed the beauty in simplicity, the sauce was quite good but still a little too bland. I really wish the sauce POPPED. Another negative factor about this place is that it is DIRTY. Dirty to the honest cashier- Dirty to the floor. But it's okay, I know that the pizza comes out of a 500 degree oven. Any bacteria that might be on my pizza get burned and killed. Such a BEAUTIFUL pie. Loved it. (4/5)
