Stopped into this place on recommendation of a friend of a friend. The place is small and does offer limited sit down option, but I believe most of the business is take out. What to expect? Pizza, subs, appetizers and some side options. Beverages are simple soft drink fare. Dough is made in-house with food supplier vendor confirmed not to be the cheapest one out there. I got the Everything Pizza and it was loaded amply with toppings. Flavor profile is really great with everything working together from crust, cheese to toppings. Having a bit of pizza shop history myself I noticed that pizza cooking was on a conveyor oven vs. my preferred brick oven. Although the cheese is listed as Mozzarella, I do wonder if perhaps if it is a blended Mozzarella containing Provolone. The toppings are top notch though and I would not hesitate to return to sample other menu items. read more

Town Square is right in downtown Pinckney, which as a resident of the village you know you don't have many choices if you do not want to drive very far for lunch or dinner. I took the suggestion from another reviewer to try the subs. They were pretty good, priced well for their size. They aren't anything to rave about, however, pretty bland overall and basic. You can find more exciting subs at a place like Dibella's or Jersey Mike's. The pizza we had there was pretty meh. I don't like fast food pizza joints - like Domino's or Jet's - and I'd say Town Square's pizza is just a step above one of these places. Better than Little Caesar's but not anything to write home about. The workers there tend to be high school students and are staffed to the bare minimum to make the place run. They have one delivery driver, which means you can wait a really long time to have your pizza delivered if they are already out. There has been a few times we've called and no one has answered during their posted business hours. Often enough that we inquired if it had/or was going to close down. Still open that I've seen driving by, but we've been disappointed enough by this place that we aren't bothering with ordering from there anymore. read more

I don't want to dog any place of business, but since Town Square has hired new staff their orders have all been messed up. I have come to town square 3 times trying it over and over hoping it would be like what it use to be but nope. I specifically order a turkey sub with only lettuce and cheese and turkey that's it. I said absolutely no Mayo. You know what they did? They smeared it with Mayo even though the wrapping said specifically -Mayo -tomato. The other sub we ordered was a steak and cheese and the cheese that was on this sub looked like it was a month old. It was HARD and plastic like. Almost like eating a bad cheese stick at a restaurant where you have to continuously chew just to break the cheese apart because it's so bad. We ordered bread sticks and cheese dip as well and those were great as usual! (Best cheese dip around!) Again I don't want to dog them because they truly use to be my families favorite downtown spot but recently they just can not get our orders straight and i can not tell you how frustrating it is to drive in town pickup my order drive all the way back home sit down at the table and open it up to see that I literally just have to throw it away. Such a waste but I was not going to drive all the way back into town just to have them remake it at 9pm. That doesn't make sense. read more

A delicious pizza place that delivers and is locally owned?! Thank the heavens! This place is everything I expect and want from a small town pizza joint. Hand tossed pizza, fresh toppings, and the best part...great sauce! Nothing ruins a pie faster than terrible tomato sauce and this place gets it right. Cooked just right with a generous topping to crust ratio. I tried their wings too and was quite pleased, they aren't saucy but crispy instead. I love crispy wings. Great pizza, fast friendly delivery. We moved to Pinckney 5 years ago from Ann Arbor which is a foodie paradise. We thought we would only have lousy chain pizza out here. Boy were we wrong! Towne Square rivals the best in AA! I wish it were brick oven and I wish the ambiance in the small dining room were better, but those are quibbles.
