First time sampling the pizza's from this business and was very impressed. The Pizza's were well made and tasty with crust cooked to perfection and nice smoked accent due to the wood fired cook. We ordered a pepperoni, Hawaiian and barbecue chicken where all three pizza's were quite good with very generous amount of toppings. Of note, I am a little on the fence when it come to barbecue chicken pizza but I have to admit I liked this one quite a bit and my son who loves this style of pizza was very pleased and said it was one of the best he has had. As we ordered carryout, I cant comment on the dining room or service aspects of this business. However, relative to the all important quality and taste of the food this place is definately top notch when it comes to pizza where I am definately a fan and will be ordering from them again in the very near future. read more

This is a build your own pizza type of place. It's the best of the ones I've been to! The dough rises and has a little chewyness, unlike other chains. It's a Michigan company (yay) and they sell Treat Dreams ice cream there (double yay)! While the pizza is really good for a build your own pizza place, but overall, there are other pizza places I'd rather go to. Hence the four stars. The place was jamming with carry outs and they were a little disorganized when some dine-ins showed up. No worries though, they adjusted quickly! Pizza cooks fast and has a slight crisp on the bottom with awesome chew. The cheese is real and has great pull. They use pepperoni that cups when it cooks! I got green olives, pepperoni, green pepper, and Mushrooms. Because it cooks so quickly, I won't get green pepper again. It was a little crunchy. And the olives were too salty. I know, weird comment. Very good pizza, we wanted try something different our normal go to Jets Pizza and we are glad we did. We order the sweet bbq pizza and added pineapple, it was loaded with delicious flavor bursts. The bbq sauce was sweet and added a unique flavor. We felt the price point was very competitive. And I must say, they had quite the Medditeranian meat medley morsels along with a nice selection of Sauces, Veggies and Cheese to pleasantly please your palate professionally. So I goes with the red sauce, mozzarella, prosciutto, olives and artichokes, and when it is ready, to please trow some arugula on top. After he trows it in the oven, we get beverages and sits down. A few minutes later, my pizza comes to the table and let me tell you, It looked like a work of art! As if the artists Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael put this masterpiece together. I love Wood Fired Pizza and had really been looking forward to trying this place for a while. I ordered a build-your-own pizza for a little over $18-overpriced if you ask me. While one employee rang me up and built my pizza, all of the other employees were standing around complaining about being at work. It's ok to not want to be at work, but completely unprofessional to talk about it when a customer is present. Luckily, I ordered my pizza to go. The pizza itself was good. Not worth $18 but still good. They have great topping choices and the pizza does come out of the oven quick. read more

Poor business practice at Rollin Stone Pizza! Just picked up a carry out order and was informed by the cashier that the only tips they receive are cash tips left in jars. She said that If you add a tip onto a credit card purchase that tip money does not go to the employees. I spoke with the manager and he indicated that because these employees are hourly they do not have to give them any credit card tips. I then asked him where does the tip money go and he told me that it is used to pay the credit card processing fees. Um... Ok.... Incredible to believe a local business would treat their employees this poorly. I'm getting my pizza elsewhere. read more

My friend and I split a 14" Classic Pepperoni pizza with light sauce and extra cheese, as well as two regular drinks. The pizza did not take long, and it came out so hot. I wish my friend would have taken a video of the cheese pull because it was gorgeous. The pepperoni was not very crispy like I would prefer when it's old world pepperoni but it still tasted really good. The sauce is good, as well as the cheese. I think the crust is a good thickness and tastes pretty good. You can see some of the black soot from the oven but it doesn't really affect the taste. The staff did not talk much beyond taking the order which seemed a little flat but when we came in with less than an hour before they closed, I could understand being a little done with the day by then. One of the staff did tell us to have a good day as we left which was a nice turnaround. We will be coming back to try the bread and maybe I will try a different pizza. What a gem this place is, we were in from out of town staying in Brighton and needed something to eat on short notice. We Yelped and found this was closest to the Kroger where we were shopping. Josh answered phone promptly and was super friendly while taking our order, it would be ready in ten minutes. We drove over and walked in to have Josh hand us our order. We got home and opened up the two pizzas: one was the piled high and one the Italiano and our order of cheesy bread. YUM! Our pizzas were done perfectly and were just what we ordered! I really hate to be the minority here, but I really didn't like their pizza. The crust was underdone, and with a wood fire name, I expected a lot more. There was no char, and like I stated - the crust was wet and underdone. The toppings were decent, I liked the good fennel seed in the sausage but it just didn't make up for the weak crust. Insult to injury, prices are a bit steep. If I were forced to choose this vs a 99 cent frozen Totinos pizza, it's the 99 cent frozen pizza every single time. The place was empty for the 20 minutes I was there during lunch hour. That should tell you something. read more

I spotted this place while at another store in this small strip mall. I asked what they thought and they said a little over priced. I would have to agree. The Italino pizza was pretty good and came almost before I got to our table. My wife ordered a salad and it came quickly too. She asked if they had any plates and the server didn't offer to get them (we were the only people in there) but just pointed and said "They are over there". The place is huge, clean and new. Apparently Friday and Saturdays are busy but it's going to take more than that to survive. Maybe beer and wine added to the menu might help. I would have given 3 and 1/2 stars but couldn't select. read more

My experience at this restaurant was different from most of the other reviews. When I went there was actually a decent amount of people there. The restaurant was far from empty which makes it different from the other reviewers experience. The pizza ingredients were fresh and tasted great. The only reason it was not five stars is because one of the pizzas we got was very burned. I get that it is supposed to be a little blackened but this pizzas crust was charred. All the other pizzas crust was not burned and tasted great. Overall the pizza was good. I would go there again if I was in the area. read more

This place is EXCELLENT. I have had 3 pizzas here so far - Pepperoni, Garden and Margherita. Every one of them has been delicious and well prepared. The restaurant itself is SUPER clean and the staff is very friendly. Their lunch special is great too -around $9 for a personal pizza, side salad and a drink.
