Truly the best at what they do. Great people, and extremely knowledgeable. If you want to make an M14 better there is no one else.

I came here a few days ago looking for vertical ascend gear out of caves. I was greeted by Jason and he was really helpful and knowledgeable. I needed very specific gear, and Jason was very patient with me and showed me where I could find sit harnesses, chest harness, chest ascender, hand ascende, foot loops, etc. I didn't find exactly what I needed but got a good idea on the things I need to build a personalized vertical gear set for myself. And of course, while I was looking for cave gear, I wandered around looking at all the fabulous gear they have, I was like a kid in a candy store. I could spend hours in here. I started looking at hydration packs as I need to replace mine and found a very nice military edition and will come back to purchase this soon. I also saw plenty of Petzl bags, and very tempted to purchase another. They also carry so much Petzl gear, you will be in heaven here. Also, some great hiking shoes and some sleek, but we'll performing water shoes. I then wandered into kayaks and Jason even showed me the Padillac they have! I've gotten into paddleboarding and kayaking for the summer and now want one of each! This place rents them and sells them. I then went to check out some wetsuit gear, and they have a really nice selection of wetsuits, gloves, booties, etc. I really love this place and it is definitely gonna bankrupt me, but so worth it. High quality gear, more extensive selection than REI and the staff here know what they are talking about. If you need something specialized, this is the place for you. I'll be back here soon!

Bass Pro and Cabela's are sporting good retailers that sell outdoor equipment for camping, hunting, fishing and other outdoor reactional activities. I am a big outdoor enthusiast and live next door to this Bass Pro Shop in Mesa. Most of my outdoor activities include camping, running, skiing and kayaking. Bass Pro Shops have been around for many years and recently acquired Cabela's. This Bass Pro Shop is called Outdoor World and has an aquarium, shooting gallery and animal displays. It adds to the fun of walking around these stores and gives you that feel that you are outside. The prices aren't anything special. But I like that you can find a lot of outdoor apparel and gear all in one stop. Bass Pro Shops supports conservation efforts throughout the U.S. The Islamorada Fish Company Restaurant that was here closed a few years ago.

It was extremely rude and disrespectful to everyone who had been patiently waiting their turn. What made the situation even worse was that no one from the store seemed to address it or manage the situation, even though the area was busy. Basic courtesy and respect for other customers should be expected in a public place, and unfortunately that wasn't the case here. While the store itself may be popular, experiences like this leave a really negative impression. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed with how the situation played out. I hope that some day, this issue gets addressed and resolved. Needless to say, I won't be coming back & would highly recommend staying away from this location.

Ive been an REI member for as long as I can remember and I feel like in the last couple of years, I…read morehaven't been as satisfied with their products and services offered in store. Here are the reasons why they only get 3 stars: There's a woman that's worked here for the past 2+ years who initially offered to sign me up for an REI credit card, which would give me 1.5% to REI on my purchases and other perks like $100 REI credit or something, so I agreed. I've come in here fairly often to pick up supplies and she never seems to remember me, not that that matters, but I've had to return items like walking poles that were defective, and most recently, had to exhange out a possibly defective butane portable canister and each time, she's had to have a manager come suss out the situation. Probably it's store policy but I feel like in the last couple of years, their return policy isn't like before. They used to have a no questions asked policy, but these days, it feels like they scrutinize a lot more, probably a lot more people coming in. What was really annoying about the butane container exchange, which the manager did agree to, was the same woman who signed me up for the credit card, said I owed 67 cents or something. I thought I had no rewards since she said I owed money, so I then asked her about my REI credit card awards and I had over $240+ or something. Of course, I would use that! What's even more annoying is that she asked me a second time, are you Vivian? The first time was when she looked into my REI account to exchange out the butane canister and she asked if I was Vivian. No, I didn't have an imposter replace me between when her supervisor came to talk to me about the item and when she exchanged it out. Ugh, that was annoying. A few times I've had store workers help suggest items to me but feels like they don't really truly understand what I need. Awhile ago, I bought a pair of hiking boots and they just aren't really good, even though they are the top of the line French Lowa hiking boots. One thing you should know is that I definitely don't skimp on gear as I need and like high quality items for the outdoor things I do. I also bought a pair of Altra trail running shoes, and they also aren't the best shoes, so they've become my get dirty caving shoes. I was better off with an older pair of Pumas for my running needs. I recall coming in here to purchase a pair of base layer pants this past winter as I was headed to Europe and would partake in some skiing and recall the woman that helped me wasn't that nice as I asked her to take the pair I needed off the mannequin, it was the last pair of small they had. I can't count how many times I have been here as I do a lot of outdoors activities and have a lot of gear, but just feels like lately, this place just isn't really living up to the standards I used to enjoy about this store. It might be time to break up soon honestly...I guess all relationships must end, even the good ones that have gone sour.

Gradually, that has diminished and this last time, it was a struggle to find some nice shirts. After much perusing, did manage to find a couple but they weren't as good deals as I've found in the past. I will continue to shop here. It's just really getting difficult to score decent deals. I guess I will just have to wait until the season changes again and hope there will be better deals.

As soon as I walked in, I realized it's Dick's Sporting Goods clearance center. The store was huge and had a ton of merchandise. I immediately went to the women's clothing section and I was in heaven! I found a bunch of high end beautiful golf apparel that they also sell at retail prices at their competitor's sporting goods store. The prices were pretty good but if you found a 5 on the ticket, you got an additional 50% off. If you found a 6, it was an additional 30% off! I ended up getting 6 beautiful items for only $131! I did my calculation and it would've cost me $454 if I had paid retail. Deals on top of deals! Major score, made me very happy:) So glad I found this store and extremely happy with my purchase. I definitely will be back very soon!
