The only reason I left my original dentist to see Dr. Lesueur (I guess I'm not sure that's his name, but I assumed it was Dr. Glen LeSueur. It was a thinner man in his late 30s/early 40s) is because they said they took my insurance, which ended up being incorrect but they owned that and didn't charge me so that was fine, but the rest of my experience was not. First of all, they had to book my appointment like a month out and then booked a deep cleaning 3 more months out. Which is frustrating but something I'm willing to deal with. But after the exam, he said I had a little filling they could take care of right then. So I agreed and he numbed my mouth. It was so much numbing I could feel it all the way to my eyebrow which had never happened before, but also not a deal breaker. Then I sat and waited for them to get to me for what felt like forever, where I almost went to find someone, which isn't like me. I would guess I waited at least 45 minutes with my mouth totally numb. I think I spent a total of 2 hours in their office for an exam and filling (no cleaning). Then they did the filling and it seemed like he had to file it down a lot of times compared to other fillings I've had. The numbing seemed to take a very long time to wear off and when it did it hurt so bad I had to take ibuprofen. My mouth was sore for 2 weeks, which seemed strange. But all of this was still not a deal breaker. Two weeks after the filling, I bit down on orange chicken and felt lightning go through the top and bottom teeth on the left side of my mouth (same side as filling). It felt like my teeth were crumbling and I became scared to eat because I never knew when it would happen. I started chewing solely on the right side, but it would still zing on the left side occasionally so I had to eat very slowly and carefully. He said if it needed to be adjusted to come back in so I did. He didn't check any teeth, but he adjusted the filling several more times and then assured me it was definitely good so if I kept having problems it was something else, such as teeth sensitivity from grinding my teeth. I wasn't aware of any grinding and asked how he knew I ground my teeth. He said because of how hard I was biting on the bite adjustment paper. I didn't tell him I was purposely biting hard so he wouldn't miss anything this time. This is when he started becoming a deal breaker for me. It felt like he was not interested in actually fixing my problem. It seemed like if someone who originally had no pain or problem suddenly can't eat food two weeks after you work on their teeth, you should take a little bit more ownership instead of saying I must have bit into something hard (yeah, your filling!) or must grind my teeth and they are suddenly hurting so bad I can't eat. I left very unsatisfied and sure enough the pain didn't go away. If I only ate on the right side, I wouldn't get the zing on the left now, I assume because he had filed it down more. But I still had to eat extremely slowly and carefully and every meal was a painful chore. So I gave up on him and went back to my original dentist. But I had to wait like this through the holidays and the amount of stress and fear I felt over what might happen to my teeth was awful. I didn't know if they were cracked, if I needed root canals (I had never had any), or what. I was very stressed about it, including how much money this might cost because multiple teeth were hurting. My dentist, who scheduled me immediately, was much more thorough and careful and competent. He checked to see if the filling was completely cured. When he cured it more, I felt an immediate difference in pain. Then he filed it even more (although Dr. LeSueur assured me it was fully filed) and each time it felt less and less painful. He said the teeth were bruised and would take a couple weeks to calm down but he did x-rays and an exam to check and make sure all the teeth were ok. They also gave me a second opinion on the gum disease Dr. Lesueur's office said I had. Dr. Lesueur's office wouldn't give me a cleaning because they said I had gum disease and needed a deep cleaning which they couldn't schedule for 3 more months. I asked how that happened if I've always been consistent with brushing and flossing. They said it was because I hadn't had regular dental cleanings every 6 months or I wasn't brushing and flossing correctly. They said there was bone loss and bacteria under my gums which made me very stressed and scared and also frustrated because I knew I took care of my teeth. When my dentist's office checked my gums the numbers sounded very different and they said I was pretty fine and didn't need any intervention like a deep cleaning. They scheduled a regular cleaning for me the very next day. Later, I found out from my sister, who was probably only 30 or late

If you are considering cosmetic dental work and are going to invest a significant amount of money,…read moremy advice is to find a dentist who specializes in cosmetic dentistry and make sure you know exactly who will be performing your treatment. My experience with Vibe Dental was completely different from what I was promised. The first person who met with me presented the treatment in a very positive way and told me that the work could last 15 years or more. I was also repeatedly told that if I was not satisfied with the results, they would refund my money. I trusted what I was told and paid $6,000 in cash for my treatment. Unfortunately, my experience throughout the process was very different from what had been promised. I had problems with the bridge, pain, and ongoing discomfort, and I had to return to the office multiple times. For a treatment that cost $6,000, I expected to receive professional and consistent care. What was especially frustrating was feeling like I was not being treated by the level of professional I expected for this type of cosmetic dental work. At times, different dental assistants were involved in the process, and I felt that a dentist was only brought in when problems had already developed. The way I was treated toward the end also made me feel like they did not even want me there. Eventually, I had to go to another dental office to have my situation evaluated. I ended up needing additional treatment, including a root canal, and I had to pay additional money out of my own pocket to address the problems I was experiencing. And the most frustrating part is that THEY NEVER EVEN FINISHED THE WORK I PAID $6,000 FOR. I am still left with a temporary restoration. After everything I went through -- the pain, the dental problems, the additional treatment, and the extra expenses -- I am honestly afraid to go back to this office. I do not want to experience that again. I also contacted Vibe Dental about my concerns and requested my money back, especially because I had been told that I would receive a refund if I was not satisfied. After I provided information and documentation regarding what happened, they stopped responding to my emails. I have documentation related to my experience, including receipts, X-rays, clinical notes, invoices, and emails. This is not simply a case of being unhappy with the appearance of cosmetic work. I paid $6,000, experienced significant problems and pain, had to seek treatment at another dental office, incurred additional expenses, and ultimately did not receive the completed treatment I originally paid for. My advice is to do your research before paying a large amount of money for cosmetic dental work. Ask who will actually be performing each part of your treatment, make sure you understand exactly what you are paying for, and consider getting a second opinion. This was my personal experience with Vibe Dental, and after everything that happened, I would never go back.

I have been very pleased with Dr. Shreeve and his entire staff!…read more Dr. Shreeve has a very calm and caring demeanor about him. He listens to you and responds accordingly. When I had to have my root canal done, he made sure I was completely numb (and his numbing itself was almost painless), and that I was doing okay throughout. He even had his staff follow up with me the next day! Never had that after a root canal from any dentist! He thought he might have to do extra (aka more expensive procedures) twice and did not. This is how I come to believe he's an honest dentist. I don't fear my future procedure with him, and that matters a great deal to me! Tammy, the hygienist is also fantastic. I despise having my teeth cleaned and this was by far the easiest one yet (and I was way past due...so extra work for her.). She kept me out of pain and was very careful and listened as well. I very impressed. Plus, my teeth felt sooo clean when she was done!!!! Tasha, at the front desk, is so easy to work with when it comes to scheduling. I LOVE that I can text her, instead of call!!!!
