Dr. Broadbent and staff provide excellent patient care from the moment you step into their office. I wanted to fix the shape of a couple teeth but wanted to also be financially conservative. Dr. Broadbent listened to my concerns and worked his magic to provide a smile that literally brought tears of joy! I am so happy with the results and it didn't break the bank! The care I received was extraordinary and I am considering moving my dental care to this office. It is a bit of a drive compared to my current dentist but for great customer service and results like this, I'd say it is worth it!! My hygienist, Amber, is so gentle & does a great job keeping my teeth clean & healthy. The dental assistants work well with Dr Broadbent & are amazing at their job as well. I initially my husband and I went to Harris Dental because they were closer and because they have great reviews. After visiting, my husband was told he needed his crown redone. My husband had no issues with the crown at any point. After having it inspected by the original dentist who initially did the crown, he said there were no issues with it but he redid it anyways because my husband was concerned about it. Still no issues with it to date. When I visited shortly after my husband, the dentist said I had 5 cavities, which I was very surprised about. I have had zero cavities for many years. After getting a second opinion, another dentist concluded I didn't have any cavities without knowing the results from this dentist. When I asked the Harris Dental dentist why he thought I needed the cavities at the time of my appointment he struggled to identify what the issues were. I have zero confidence in this dentist and will be finding another one. Nice facility and nice people, but they say you need far more work than what is actually necessary. No thanks - 0 stars. read more

So happy that we found this office! We recently moved to the area from out of state, so we did not have any referrals to a local dentist. There are quite a few within a mile radius of our house, but when we received a flyer in the mail for the opening of Harris Dental's newest office in our area, we looked at their website and were very impressed. The doctors and staff are very warm, friendly, informative, and professional. My husband and I have never been patients at the same office due to our different preferences, but we are both very happy with Harris Dental. I originally came here because I had a Groupon but I will definitely be coming back! I really liked this office, the staff, and Dr. Yates. Everyone is so friendly and the dentist took time to talk to me about my mouth goals. The place runs smoothly and the environment is wonderful. You can actually watch TV during your cleaning. I went in for a cleaning and sadly they found I needed a filling. So I recently went in and got that taken care of. No pain or anything. They did a detailed job and my mouth feels great! Anyone who has ever had a scary experience in a dentist's chair knows what a rare gem it is to find a dental office that gets it right. I've had 3 visits now, at Harris Dental in Mesa, AZ. I can tell you without question that they provide the most welcoming, friendly, and relaxed office experience I have ever had, bar none. Amber, the hygienist, is an angel sent to earth, particularly for people like me who are perhaps overly apprehensive when it comes to a dental visit. She does an amazing job of walking you through the procedure and focuses intently on your comfort level the whole time. Very patient, very calming presence, very skilled with all of those scary tools and sounds emanating from your mouth! I cannot proclaim to know all of the latest greatest technical advances in dentistry, but Harris definitely appeared to be cutting-edge. Case in point.. the procedure I had was painless and thorough, where before, same procedure at other offices... not so much. :-( Suffice to say, yes, I was impressed with their tech.. lasers and all! But the technical side means nothing if the person with the tools in your mouth is less that proficient. Amber is awesome! The whole office, as I said, were just super friendly and calming. Dr. Yates is very caring and attentive. I required a filling as a new patient and had complications with the filling. He made himself available repeatedly over months to help resolve my issue and reduce my discomfort. The general office staff were also very friendly. I know by like my fourth trip back in, all the staff knew my name. :) The setup of the office is warm and friendly. The procedure room seating is surprisingly comfortable and they have flat-screen televisions with easily accessible remote controls so patients can be distracted by house hunters international during less than pleasant procedures. The only real issue I had was with my cleanings. I expressed concerns and then came for a scheduled cleaning. Instead of pointedly discussing my concerns and getting down to the scheduled procedure, I felt like we wasted an hour talking and going back over a sales pitch for the hygienist's original recommendations. I probably would have been less irritated if I hadn't been sent allll the way back home without the dental cleaning that day, but then again my issues were probably pretty unique to me. The staff have all shown a willingness to talk about or listen to just about anything you want. Maybe they do it to a fault, since time is money, but there are certainly worse faults to have. read more

I live out of state and when I travel home to Mesa, AZ; I arrange my cleaning appointments, etc. It's hard to find the best quality in dental care, but Harris Dental has it! My wife and I recently moved to Arizona and were looking for a good dentist. Harris Dental was recommended to us by a family friend who knew Dr. Yates. Since then we have had several procedures done there including routine cleanings, cavity fillings, crowns, and they worked with us to find a great periodontist for my wife's root canal. Dr. Yates is very friendly, professional, and skilled and his staff and hygienists are equally friendly and well qualified. I would highly recommend Harris Dental to anyone and am confident they will be our family dentist for many years to come!
