I was looking for a new dentist and read reviews for Dr. Pelletier at Highland Village Family Dental and decided to give her a try. My first appointment was in June 2021 and I was impressed from the moment I first walked in. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Pelletier listened to all my concerns and came up with a plan for me. I was going to get four veneers, a crown and a filling this year. I've had most of that done now and every step was as pleasant as it could be, and everyone was nice and helpful, as well as doing a great job. To begin with, somebody here had an Issue with Maria, the receptionist at this place of business. 1) everybody has a bad day once and a while? 2) the person dissing Maria either a) was having a bad day himself, or, perhaps b) Maria was having a bad day. I have been overtreated so many times, I can't begin... That being said, these people (Pelletier) found really serious problems that my previous (Orange County ,CA) dentist did not detect. An aside? My EARLIER dentist in the OC died of a brain tumor; he was a long term dear friend of mine. I asked his widow who HIS dentist was? That's where I went for the last ten years. Even so, they seemed to have missed some serious stuff regarding my dental health. I am not one to be fooled? Pelletier did in fact, find some serious issues with my teeth, much to my surprise! I have been OVERTREATED before, and KNOW it when I SEE it, but that is not the case here. I am truly impressed with the depth of the analysis/explanation/treatment I have gotten here. I had not been to the dentist in a while and when I was looking at offices near me I happened upon Dr. Pelletier's office. Since they were close, I decided to give them a call and they were able to get me in quickly for a consult. The office was very clean, front desk staff was very friendly, and I didn't wait long before the hygienist took me to the back. I had Xrays done by the nicest hygienist, and Angela advised I did have 3 very small cavities and she would get me an estimate if I would like to get them fixed. I was able to get a paper with exactly what my insurance would pay and what I had to pay and scheduled an app the next week to get them fixed and for a cleaning. Both visits were quick, and I am very happy with the service I received. I would definitely recommend Dr. Pelletier's office to anyone! read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I just had the most ridiculous experience of my life with the front office staff at this establishment. I scheduled the follow up cleaning with them several months ago made arrangements to leave work early and when I got there, they had given my appointment away because I didn't call and "confirm"! So I left work early and drove all the way over there for nothing! The worst part other than them getting my appointment away is the woman at the front desk who acted like it was my fault they gave my appointment away. When I called to tell her about it she hung up on me. Not even an apology! Find somewhere else -twits at the front desk don't have a clue and really suck at customer service! I guess the dentist is just like the front staff so that makes sense. It was very easy to find another dentist that was happy to have our business and the business of my family. Sending out reminder calls is one thing but requiring clients to do something in addition after scheduling their appointment is redundant and unreasonable. The whole purpose of an appointment is for them to hold the space for you. This dentist office is extremely unprofessional and unapologetic for their arrogant attitude and I truly hope that people think twice about going here one other offices send out REMINDER calls BUT they don't give your appointment away if you don't do what they say! The dentist didn't even attempt to call me and apologize in person for this fiasco and she actually is defending the way this was handled by the office! Really unbelievable. Reminder calls are one thing honey giving people's appointments away because they don't do what you tell them is something different! So sorry I wasted my time and my money with this place read more

Really happy with my results! I basically didn't take care of my teeth for 3 years and avoided going to the dentist due to embarrassment/bad experiences. My boyfriend comes here for all his work and highly recommended it to me. I needed my teeth cleaned severely, and the cavities in my mouth were becoming extremely painful. I was so embarrassed of my gums that I started changing the way I smiled. That being said, after I got my insurance straightened out, I came here. And I'm so happy I did. They gave me like 7 shots to get my gums numb... which is not something I signed up for but I was so happy they did! I didn't feel ANY pain!!! But the reason I'm giving them 5 stars is due to how they made me feel. Most dentists that I've been to in the past have guilted me for not taking top notch care of my teeth, but no one here made me feel bad about myself. This dentist was trained by the Air Force and refused to accept VA payments for my care! As a disabled Veteran I thought Veterans looked out for other Veterans however; that is not the case here! Dr. Pelletier and her staff are awesome. I just had a crown and some fillings done and everything went so smoothly. Scheduling was great, they worked within my calendar constraints. I like that they call you a day or so ahead to confirm, it's a good reminder for me and I'm sure it helps them. I'm also super busy for work so I really appreciated that they took me at the scheduled appointment time and I didn't have wait. Then of course the dental work itself. If you are like me, you don't like the shot for numbing but Dr. P was great. Hard to believe but I really didn't feel it, not even pinching :). The fillings and crown are working great, no sensitivity and back to being able to chew without concern. Appreciated the friendly staff, the dental hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth and Dr.P's work and manner are great, big thumbs up from me. read more

I have mixed feelings about this dental office. I am a full-time traveler and was in need of a basic cleaning and check-up while staying in Mesa. Based on the reviews here, I made an appointment and was pleased to hear that they have a new patient special for $69. I thought that would be perfect. They took extensive x-rays and pictures of my teeth and checked the pocket depth of my gums. The hygienist seemed very competent. Based on my gum health, she recommended a serious "deep cleaning" that would cost about $400. Then she fell back to saying a full mouth debridement should be enough, so I went with that. What I got was pretty much a standard plaque removal and cleaning using an ultrasound tool, no different in time and effort than previous standard cleanings I've had. So I feel that I was somewhat "bait-and-switched" into paying more for a standard cleaning and exam (about $200) than was presented. I don't doubt that they do good work in this office but I don't feel that their new patient special is totally aboveboard. Oh, and I left the appointment with a $3,000 treatment plan to replace three crowns that do appear to be starting to have issues, but I made it clear to the office from the beginning that I did not live in the area and would not be able to come back for any work. They are a bit aggressive in generating business, so go in with your eyes open. read more

Dr. Pelletier is the best dentist I have ever had, and I am over 60! She and her whole staff are genuine, very friendly, and accommodating. They are very helpful. The office environment is aesthetically pleasing. Dr. Pelletier does an extensive initial evaluation, which I am very pleased with. I have had four teeth crack and my previous dentist didn't take any preventive measures, so it ends up costing a fortune to fix. Dr. Pelletier identified a tooth that had numerous fractures and would have cracked eventually, if not very soon. So she was able to fix it before more damage was done. I feel very fortunate that I found Dr. Pelletier. I chose her without a reference. I found her in my list of network dentists and chose her because I was impressed with her background, but mostly, I was drawn to her picture. So I really love this dentist. She is sweet and thorough and her whole staff is very attentive and nice. I would say that if you don't have dental insurance her prices are extremely reasonable and she at least used to offer small discounts when you paid large balances up front or with cash. She and her staff stay up on all the newest technology and science and are very rigorous about quality control, meaning that they always stand behind their work. I don't see her anymore because I just found that she was perhaps too aggressive at treating potential problems with my teeth. For many people this may be the best fit for you and a great way to prevent larger problems, especially since her fees are so reasonable. Others in my household still see Pelletier and I still enjoy going into the office to see her staff. read more
