This office is not the place to go. Deja, the "office manager" is incompetent and they don't do honest billing. They fraudulently bill your insurance and when you call them out they act like you are the problem. I had a gum graft done, first one failed was told that it was being redone at no cost Which lead to multiple problems. Each time they redid it something else went wrong. They billed thousands of dollars and repeatedly used all my allotment I have been dealing with them since 2020. I have written the insurance company that the charges they are submitting are fraudulent. They have rebilled changing codes until they get something from insurance. I had a credit that I was told they took to recoup "write offs" from their agreed contract with insurance company. Then magically say I owe them for a visit in 2024 which doesn't exist. Deja will have excuses, say it's 3rd party and deny previous discussions. So if you do go here.... Know your benefits will be scammed, the office is incompetent and complacent taking advantage of insurance companies and patients. Watch your EOBs. Keep everything they quote and be smart and memorialize every conversation so you can prove that they are crooks. Every conversation you will be told something different. read more

I saw Dr. Hong for the first time today to replace a broken crown. I had trouble finding a Dr in network in our second home in Phoenix at first and was able to get an appointment the next day here after several unsuccessful attempts with other offices. The office called and asked if I wanted to come earlier first thing in the AM. When I arrived, I was seen within 5 minutes. The administrative staff where all very friendly and courteous. The dental assistant. Dianna did all the normal background information personally in the exam room, rather then having me fill it out myself in the waiting room. For me this was a nice personal touch. All of their equipment is state of the art in the office and better than any of my previous dentists. They took care of placing a temporary crown meticulously. They are rushing my permanent crown so that it is in place before we leave for a vacation trip next week. The admin team came back to the treatment room to go over my benefits and what I had to pay out of pocket. Again, another nice personal touch. The copay ended up being less than I paid for my original crown. Dr. Hong is very young, but I found her to really nice and highly competent. I take extreme issue with some of the negative reviews about her that I read before my appointment. I normally do not do reviews but after my personal experience with her and the rest of the Dentists of AJ team, I had to right this very glowing review because my experience was totally opposite of the negative reviews I read and I wanted to set the record straight with my own review based on my personal experience. I have found my dentist for my home away from home with the Dentists of AJ. My former dentist's office's admin team that he was in before he retired was incompetent. That is why he retired and left and why I stopped going there too. So, I know what an incompetent administrative staff looks like. This office is not that. They are one of the most pleasant and competent front office staff's I have experienced in a very long time. read more

Great intake person but lack of Confidence by the young Dr Hong in her own skills to extract a tooth made me wonder about taking part in a bait and swith to get more money form adding a bump to bone grafts and surgery..? Tooth pull free under insurance the other option offered cost was $3,429.00...I am in 8+ Pain they did NOTHING to help that AT ALL! I have been going to this office since 2022. The office staff are all very friendly. They are quick to assist via phone call and are always friendly. They also allow for online appointment confirmation prior to your appointment and send emails when you schedule an appointment and reminders regarding upcoming appointments. I really appreciate that they do not require you to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your appointment time as some offices require this even when your documents are sorted. The office is always clean with ample seating and I am promptly brought back on time for when my appointment is scheduled. Prior to going to this dental office, it had been multiple years since my last visit as I had bad experiences with my prior dentist every time I would visit. Everyone has made me feel very comfortable and welcome and I haven't missed a cleaning since! I really appreciate the care and expertise Morgan uses when completing my cleaning. She is very friendly and it's almost like catching up with a friend when I have my appointments! Jana is a wonderful dentist and has such a pleasant presence when she enters the room. Both Morgan and Jana are very knowledgeable and always offer helpful tips for my continuing care. Love this dental office and would absolutely recommend to anyone! read more

Dr. K has the best energy and outlook! Great communicator and shoots you straight. I should preface that all I've needed done in 5 years is cleaning and X-rays, which have all been covered by my insurance. The secret weapon of this practice are the Hygienists however....mostly Jess she is amazing. Absolutely the worst possible experience you could imagine. We were new to area and didn't get a referral from friends. We had an emergency. A grown and tooth broke. The dentist broke the took next to the broken tooth we came in for. They wrote down the wrong phone number so when the emergency became another emergency because of the fault of the dentist they couldn't reach me. So when I went back an hour later, the manager is screaming at me for leaving the facility because she was trying to call the wrong phone number. Omg! Dr Kubicek, and the entire staff are amazing. I had not visited a dentist for over 15 years. I made the appointment, and was not able to find a sitter for my 1.5 year old so I brought him along. The entire staff offered to hold, play, and help while I got some work done. In one hour they were able to do a routine cleaning, x-rays, fill one cavity, (after 15 years I only had one cavity = a win for me) and take impressions for Invisalign. I own my own business, and always pay attention to employee moral/ attitude. Everyone here felt happy, and valued at there job. Happy employees always yield better results. Come to find out this is a locally owned business which means my money stays here. Pricing was exactly as stated, and thoroughly explained. We had to find a new dentist after leaving the one we had for 34 years. I found Dentists of Apache Junction based on Yelp reviews. I'm in love with the completeness of my first exam. I know just about all there is to know about my teeth and potential problems. I was shown a molar that has a huge filling and is cracking. Now I can prepare myself for another crown without waiting for the awful feeling of a piece of my tooth coming loose! I've never had such a complete and thorough cleaning, either. I needed a canine tooth removed. They only perform very basic dentistry. They are a middle man basically. They contract with Kenny Lam DDS for extractions. The injections I know are uncomfortable for the canine tooth but Kenny Lam did not take it slow has my dentists in the past. He went straight in hard and fast. The pain was intense. He was unapologetic and acted like I was a pain in the ass because I was hyperventilating and he had to slow down. This man never introduced himself on arrival and left without a word when done. I relayed this information to Dr Ben but I'm sure nothing was done. I went elsewhere for the rest of my extensive dental work. Beware, Dentistry of Apache Junction uses contractors. While Dr Ben was pleasant he is not the person doing much of the work. read more

I went in as a new patient to get a crown looked at to see if I needed a new one. Front office staff was very friendly, I spoke mostly to Jordan was who was an absolute delight! Waiting room is clean & comfy, there's even coffee(what more could we want?!). I got pulled back shortly after I got there by Tianni. She is incredibly friendly and so FUNNY! She loves to make you feel like you're family. I am normally very anxious at dentists offices, but Tianni and Dr. Eklund made me feel right at home. They ended up doing just a filling. They take the time to make sure you feel ok and understand and procedures and charges. I had a cleaning, full xrays, and removal of a broken tooth on my first visit. I had a crown for a different tooth done on my second visit. They were willing to do both in the same visit---I was just needlessly afraid to do it. I went to Jana and my wife went to Kurt yesterday. We argued that evening which doctor was the best. WE BOTH LOVED BOTH DOCTORS! I had two crowns put on (zero pain) and my wife had one crown (zero pain). They start off by fulling explaining the procedure and the pricing options. As they operate on you they make sure that you are comfortable and explain step by step what they are doing. Everyone that works in the office is VERY FRIENDLY. Also they like giving back to the community. They had a toy drive going on that allowed you to deduct $50 off your bill if you bring in a toy. USE THESE DENTISTS, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! after finding out i need dentures, i was given an estimate of over $6000.00, they outlined procures, was told that in 6 months i would have impressions made for my new upper dentures i went ahead had 8-9 upper teeth removed & bone grafts, now 6 months later i'm told i would have to pay over $1100.00 for the impressions !!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, the staff was friendly and the office, being less than a year and a half old, was very clean. I decided to try them out after problems with crowns that two previous dentists had installed. All went well, until my husband, whom did not have an appointment, asked if they could adjust his bridge while we were there. They squeezed him in but charged us $69.75 for an "emergency exam," which it was NOT in the slightest. I could have done it myself with jeweler's pliers and would have if they had been honest and straightforward with us from the beginning. We would have told them thanks, but no thanks.
