Smash burger is usually really good and I used to order it a lot but this time I got the double bacon smash burger and whoever made it and the patties were super extra salty to where I couldn't eat it. I must have been a big pain in the ass because i never been here before and i was ordering for my husband and i didn't know they had different double burgers nor did i know they had different fries. Anyways, the lady fixed my fries the way my husband liked them not the original way. We haven't been here in awhile and boy has this place gone down hill. At 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon, not busy at all but our worst customer experience here at this location. My family waited patiently at least 10 minutes in line, 2 people in front of us, and absolutely no interaction with the customers who were waiting in line. No "hello" or "be right with you", but the employees know we are there waiting they just don't care less. One person behind counter making milkshakes, and no acknowledgement to customers that they would be right with us. Gentleman delivering orders (occasionally) finally decided to start taking orders when it was convenient to him but right before us just walks back to his station and still not engaging with us saying "be right with you". This is just basic customer service 101. Pinnacle of employees with no motivation and not giving a crap about the job, customer experience, and lacking morale. This would have never happened to me at brands like in-n-out or chick-fil-a. We finally walked out and drove to Freddy's down the street where I was actually greated walking in the door. I had heard a lot of great things about Smashburger, but hadn't gotten a chance to try it until the other day for lunch. I came with a few friends on the way to the Renaissance Festival, and fortunately Smashburger lived up to the hype. This location is very clean and well maintained by the staff. The girl taking orders at the counter was friendly and efficient, and was one of the better interactions I've had with a fast food cashier in recent memory. I got the Spicy Baja Burger with a side of Smashfries. The burger was excellent - the meat was juicy and tender, and it was cooked to perfection. It's not a huge burger, but it's certainly very filling! The Smashfries went great with the burger and really helped hit the spot. The rosemary, olive oil, and garlic on them is spot-on, and I'm surprised more places don't make fries with rosemary. Definitely recommended! read more

I ordered the single bacon burger with the smash sauce. The fries are pretty good. The cashier was very confident behind the brand Smashburger itself however she compared it to What-A-Burger and Dairy Queen and Smashburger doesn't come close. My burger was small and dry, the pricing is ridiculous and my wife asked for bacon on her burger and they took time to place two strips of bacon on top of a leaf of lettuce in a small carry out box! I feel like this place could do a better job at cleaning. I had to find someone to get them to take my order. I've heard mixed reviews from my friends that have been to Smashburger before, today I finally got a chance to try it out for myself. Went for an early lunch (a little after 11am), as we were walking up to the place you could smell the aroma of burgers cooking in the air. Ordered a regular sized Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of smash fries and a regular drink. Total came out to just a hair under $11. They brought our food out within several minutes, everything was hot off the grill. The burger was good, hot and fresh, good flavor, but nothing spectacular. I kind of get how there are so many mixed yelp reviews. The meat they kind of smash flat (as their name implies), similar to Freddys Steakburgers. Maybe next time I should try a Baja burger or customize mine with some extra toppings... The smash fries were good, but personally I'm not a fan of the shoestring style, I prefer the thicker cut fries. They did have a hint of olive oil & rosemary, nothing overpowering. They were also nice and crisp, but not greasy. You get a big basket of them, one order is easily enough for two or maybe even three people. Had some Cherry Coke to wash it all down. My friend got a vanilla shake which I tried, it was good... probably would have been better during the summer, when it's 40F outside ice cream is the last thing on my mind. The restaurant was very clean, tables all nice and tidy, nothing on the floors. The drink station area was also organized and wiped down. A+ for cleanliness... I really enjoyed the courteous staff as it was my first visit. The cashier took the time to answer nicely about the sizes, certain options, and relay what particular burgers included as toppings. She took my order well as I asked for certain things done certain ways. I also like they bring your food to the table once a placard is set. The burger itself was nothing to write home about. I felt it was too small for a 1/3 lb. and not what I'd call inexpensive. The bun was hard and cold with no flavor. They needed to warm it up to soften or add something to the bun to make it more chewy/soft. The meat was a bit dry but that could be that it was really lean. I honestly didn't taste anything...it was bland. They should have put more BBQ sauce on a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger. Even the cheese seemed minimal. I asked for an extra side of BBQ sauce to make it a bit more moist, but it really wasn't that great of a meal. The fries are shoestring type and get hard and cold quickly. I could have done better having something at Whataburger for a little less and gotten more food. There was quite a bit of business for Saturday, which I think is great for their business. It was a bit noisy, even in comparison to normal fast food establishments. I also would have preferred a cleaner environment as there was food underneath the tables. Ordered my burger with crispy onions, I opened my burger and they put only a teaspoon amount, when before it was a good amount it would over flow. Everything is a la carte, and small fries were about the same quantity you get in a kids meal at the Golden Arches. The quality of the how meals are served now to how it was years back has changed.
