Ok, first know that I like smash burgers. If that's not your thing, you may feel differently. My burger was gooey and a tad on the greasy side but, my partner's burger was a lot less greasy than mine. That said, I really enjoyed the sauce, pickles and onions so still rating highly. Is it the best in America? No, mine was not but was it good, yes. I'll go again at some point - straddling a 3 star or 4 star and giving it a bump because the elements were there - just a tad too greasy on mine.

Was able to finally try out Trill a few months ago and it was great. Really delicious burgers and fries here. The burgers had a good flavor to it that made every bite worth it. Fries may have looked like normal fries but they weren't. At first glance you are thinking oh nothing specialty but something about them makes you want to keep eating it. Good crisp and flavor. I got my kid a lemonade and took a sip and it was refreshing to the max. I would definitely get the lemonade by itself when needing that refresher. The downfall of my visit was the inside of the place. There were stack of chairs and tables pushed to the side of the restaurant. It looked really tacky. Supplies on top of the tables. Not sure why it was like that. It wasn't even hidden or anything. So that part made sitting inside just feel like I was eating in a closet. Aside from that great food and workers.

Trill Burgers walks in the room with confidence. The music hits, the staff is warm, and the fries? Chef's kiss. Crispy, golden, and honestly the best part of the meal. 2 stars But then Trill committed a crime. No tea. In Houston. At a burger joint. I'm sorry, but that's like a Buc‑ee's with no bathrooms. It just feels illegal on a spiritual level. Now, the burgers. I wanted to love them. I really did. But the flavor was flatter than a parking lot in Katy. The only things carrying the bite were the cheese and the Trill sauce--and even that sauce, which is supposed to be Thousand Island‑adjacent, is doing its own thing entirely. Not bad, just not what it claims to be. The vegan burger? Listen... I appreciate the effort, I really do. But it was suspiciously meatlike. One bite and I tapped out. The cheese and pickles were nicely balanced, though. And because the cashier mentioned the sauce was mayo‑based, I played it safe and got it on the side. I'm not convinced they fully understand what "vegan" means, but at least they're trying. Also the bathroom needed a quick refresh. Not a disaster, just noticeably not‑fresh. Bottom Line Trill Burgers has personality for days: -Great music -Great staff - Great fries But the burgers need a glow‑up, the vegan labeling needs a little education, and the lack of tea is a Texas tragedy. It's a fun spot with potential just not quite trill enough to live up to the hype.

Vegan burger, sorry, I had to taste it first lol.

Such good customer service! I'm not from the area and I've been to two different locations this weekend and in both locations, the service has been so good- you don't see that these days. The food has also been hot and fresh! Love the vibes and the taste, the vegan burger is soooo GOOD!

Really good smash burger, seasoned fries are great and the burger sauce is one of the better ones out there. Staff is friendly, the restaurant is super clean and the food came out fast and piping hot. Love the medium cut, battered and seasoned fries. Burger had a nice crispiness to it, the pickles and the sweet caramelized onions added good flavor to the burger. The bun was soft and suited for the burger. I drank soda water off of the Sprite tap, and it's dialed in perfectly. Make sure you get a side of sauce to dip the fries in and dab a bit on the burger as well.

Had a great experience at Trill Burgers Saturday afternoon on 2/14. The burger was packed with flavor -- definitely hit the spot. The fries were hot and crispy, and everything came out quick and well prepared. Shoutout to the cashier for the excellent customer service -- he was super friendly, patient, and welcoming. He made the whole visit great. Good food + great service

We decided to check out Trill Burgers in Spring,Tx to experience the hype around what was named Best Burger in America by Good Morning America. The concept is very straightforward and true to the smash-burger style they're known for. The burger was really good; the bun super fresh, and everything together was delicious. The fries were good - crunchy and nicely salted just enough. One thing to note: if you like extra salt, they don't offer it. The menu is intentionally simple with very limited customization. There's no lettuce, tomato, or bacon - just the smash burger with their Trill sauce, pickles, and grilled onions as the topping options. You can choose beef, turkey, or a meat substitute, and there are OG, triple, and Baby G burger options. The space clearly celebrates Houston culture, with decor honoring local legends like Pimp C and DJ Screw, which adds to the overall vibe. Trill Burgers definitely leans into a "keep it simple and iconic" approach - so if you're looking for a classic smash burger without a lot of add-ons, this is your spot. Just know what to expect going in.

    Kids meal - single patty

First time visiting! Delicious burger and fries. I ordered the kids meal because I only wanted a one-patty burger. Customer service was cool. I was prompted to tip which was inappropriate (in my opinion). The dining area was clean. I love the yellow decor.

I've been eyeing the yellow and black building for a little while and we finally were able to go and visit. You order at the counter and pick up your food at the counter as well. They take the order quickly. And I thought that the burgers that were fresh came out at a good speed. We ordered three OG combos. The burgers were a pretty good size, they had fries under the burger and on the side of it, and it comes with a fountain drink. The bun was soft and it had caramelized onions on top of the patty, which was a nice touch. The trill sauce is pretty good! It comes on top of the burger, but we got some on the side as well to dip the fries into. The fires themselves were absolutely delicious. They were crunchy and not limp, and they were piping hot when we got them. Definitely the best fries I've had in a while. It looks like a clean establishment with ample ceiling and a good parking lot size. Really happy that we have another halal food option on this side of town!

My friends and I stopped by Trill Burger after climbing, and it hit the spot! I've tried their burgers at their downtown Houston location before. I remember the line being out the door, and employees navigating the parking situation, so the Spring location in comparison was quite convenient; the parking and seating situation was miles better... Truthfully, my friends and I agreed that the food tasted just like any other burger; not in a bad way, but don't expect to get your mind blown. I do love their grilled onions + sauce though. The fries, however? A completely different story. The Downtown and Spring locations cooked the fries perfectly; they were crispy on the outside, soft inside, and seasoned well. Neither location skimped out on how many fries you get, either. I ordered the Lil G Trill meal (aka the kids' meal), and it's definitely a bang for your buck. The portions were satisfying and came with a drink and fries, all for $10! The attention to customer service is also a nice touch, since a gentleman was sitting around, helping us open the door. Overall, I'm happy they chose to open in North Houston, and I'd definitely bring my other friends to Trill Burger!

    Vegan OG burger

After trying Burger Bodega yesterday, I needed to try Trill burger to compare. It knocked BB out of the park. The vegan OG burger is so juicy and flavorful that I questioned multiple times if it was indeed vegan. The OG burger was also delicious. Not overly salty, soft and buttery potato bun, perfectly balanced Trill sauce. Everything was totally on point. The fries were cooked to perfection also. The strawberry lemonade was delicious and would've been a great addition to take home and add some tequila to it. Fresh squeeze, lemons, real strawberries, cut up at the bottom and delicious not overly tart lemonade.

Trill Burger definitely lives up to the hype when it comes to flavor and vibe. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere felt nostalgic with classic R&B and rap playing throughout, a really fun Houston touch. I ordered the OG burger and it was super tasty, cooked well, and full of flavor. The fries were seasoned to perfection, which I always appreciate. I also loved that they offer a vegan menu. It's nice to see inclusive options for everyone. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the price. The food is good, but a bit on the expensive side. That said, I'd still recommend checking it out if you're in the Houston area. It's a solid spot with great food and an even better vibe.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a gentleman at the door; which shows they value the customer experience. The restaurant was not super busy so our order was taken immediately. The menu was very simple which makes ordering fairly easy. We ordered the OG Burger Combo and were not disappointed. The buns are "potato-ish," very soft and paired well with the other components. I really love the smashed patties, they were tender with a crispy edge, and flavorful. The onions and the sauce really take the burger to another level. Definitely melt in your mouth! The fries seem to have a batter-like texture that gives them an extra crispiness. I lOVED them! The restaurant is filled with eye catching yellow decor from the walls to the cute boxes the food comes in. It is evident they put a lot of thought into this business concept. My review was a 5 star, however I had to reconsider a 4-4.5. After eating I went to the counter to purchase another meal for my sister. As I was standing at the front waiting for the order, I noticed one of the female cooks eating fries while prepping food. Some may think this is no biggie, however, food safety should be taken seriously, and employees should eat in a designated area away from food prep/storage. I stand to be corrected, but to my knowledge the purpose of this rule is to prevent cross contamination. Just something for them to put on their radar so other employees won't pick up these habits. Other than this, everything else was great!

At least not enjoy spending it. But with prices these days getting way out of hand what can you do. I got the rattlesnake because I saw it touted as their award winning burger. Not sure from where the award came. But this and their trash can tacos had the emblem next to it. You also get a veggie pack with your to-go burger which has chopped lettuce, pickles, raw onions and 2 slices of tomatoes. That's nice so you don't have to put on the required latex gloves to use their veggie bar to get these yourselves. It's in a separate bag. I thought this was the buger at first and was secretly getting a bit concerned when I saw the cook toss it onto the counter like a bean bag. The cashier was super nice. He offered me water as I waited. They had another guy working in the back cooking the food. You also get a thimble of ketchup in your Togo bag along with a packet of mustard and mayo. The bun was a little burnt. And I couldn't taste any of the mixed in jalapeños. Also I kinda wish they had whole lettuce rather than chopped just because it kept falling out of the burger. But other than these issues the burger was pretty tasty. Definitely not a McDonald's burger like one person posted. But also not the best burger ever as many other posters swear by. Definitely glad I went. But don't know if I'd be willing to spend another $20 on one of their Burgers either. They're closed on Sundays according to Google maps which is old school nice to see.

As soon as we were seated Zoe hurried to our table to take our drink orders and since it was our first time, she gave us a little history about the restaurant and walked us through the menu and her favorites, she even offered us a tour of the place. I was truly amazed by the attention she gave us. The food came out extra hot and fresh I ordered the Double Cut Pork Chop 18oz, my hubby had the New York Strip 14oz and my daughter had Sliders from the kid's menu. The Pork Chop was so juicy, tender and full of flavor, I just loved the smokey flavor. The building was originally built in 1902 as a hotel, brothel and saloon. It turned into a cafe in 1949. The floors are original and you can see remnants of the past all over the place. Some say it's haunted! The whole town has character and this place fits right in. My friends and I came for dinner on the weekend. Reservations are not required but recommended as it is a popular spot in Old Towne Spring. We were seated right away off in the back in what looked to be a dining room. We were the only ones dining in there throughout the whole meal. Our server was a nice, young gentleman, but service was slow. We had to ask for basic things repeatedly. My friends started off with some cocktails which they said were good and strong. I opted for iced tea as it was a work night. My friends have been here a few times and said we had to get some of the famous beer bread. I was expecting a dark loaf of bread, but instead we got a cake like loaf that was very dense. It ate like a cornbread but tasted like beer bread. It was very good. Next up was Southern Style Deviled Eggs. Nothing to write home about, but they were good. Last for the apps was the Wunsche Pork Bites. These were delicious. They were bite sized pieces of a smoked pork chop that was fried crispy and tossed in a sweet chili sauce and topped with crispy onion strings. These were addicting. The entree that drew my attention to this place was the Double Cut Smoked Pork Chop. There's a popular chain that has an impressive pork chop and I wanted to compare to the one made here. The pork chop here was just as good, if not, better. My one and only gripe was the compound butter on it. It was a maple citrus apple butter. For my taste buds. if it were just a maple apple butter, it would have been perfect. The citrus component threw it off a little. I would substitute it with another compound butter or none at all next time. For desserts, we went with the Chocolate Whiskey Cake and the Buttermilk Pecan Pie. These were both excellent. I am usually not a pecan pie guy, but this was very good. Overall, though this place is no where close to home, the drive out here was worth it. I really liked this spot and would most definitely come back if in the area.
