i mainly am giving this place a one star, due to the fact that they hire, keep and allow bad employees to work here. waitress, young kid, filipina, could hardly understand what she was saying, barely spoke english, had to repeat what we wanted to drink, cuz when she repeated back to us what we ordered, could not understand what she was saying, and sounded totally different from what we asked for in our order. took a very long time for the food to be served, and once served, the food was barely warm, not hot off the grill, like its suppose to be. i had ordered the big steak omelet, so i had asked for steak sauce, she said she would be right back, and after waiting for nearly 15-20 mins, and still she hadn't brought the steak sauce back, i got up to go ask someone else behind the counter, since no one else was on the floor, and low and behold, there was my waitress standing there with three other employees, chit chatting and giggling about i dont know what, because they were talking their language, so i just said excuse me, and stepped in and grabbed the steak sauce that she had right in front of here sitting on the counter, and returned to my seat. a couple minutes later she shows up at my table, and says 'sorry sir, i was just trying to clean the bottle and the counter,' this made no sense at all. from then on, she never came by ask if we needed anything, or nothing. was not till the end of the meal, she shows up with the check. then asks if we needed any more drinks or anything, and thats when i told her, not anymore, however, i did need more drink earlier and more butter and for my pancakes, but too late now, because i needed it earlier and not at the end of my meal. anyways, if any of you visit this place, i strongly suggest, if you so happen to get this waitress, to ask for someone else. read more

My family and I had a terrible experience, firstly we were sat by a smelly men's bathroom and I guess the had no deodorants for the smell. Then before I even opened my menu our server can over twice asking if we were ready to order so needless to say we felt rushed, my wife didn't like the servers attitude at all, feeling rushed I ordered the steak but meal by looking at the picture only and not reading the description. When my food arrived it was the sweetest, chewiest steak I ever had and I blame d myself for not reading the description of the meal because surely it had to be teriyaki steak, and NO it was not teriyaki it was just a SUGAR STEAK in which tore my stomach apart and I only ate 3 pieces and I spit them out. I had the most positive experience today at this IHOP....I came in on a Sunday from out of town and asked if they could accommodate a party of 11 on an hour....These people went above and beyond to accommodate us...and the service was outstanding. Went to grab a snack with the hubby . I gotta say the service was poor we waited for like almost eight minutes until we apparently asked if anyone has helped? Takes our order and still over charged our ticket. We replaced one drink for a milkshake and she forgot to take the soda off and forgot about our side of sausage. My wife and I had not been to this IHop for many years, but we were pleased with the service and food today mid-morning. We both had the +Senior breakfasts, including a pancake, bacon, potatoes, and an egg. It was all I needed, and my wife took some of her food home. Heidi happily welcomed us at the front door and helped my wife (with her temporary walker) get in and out of the door. First off let me say the only reason they didn't get a full 5 stars is because some of their booths are falling apart and taped up to stay together as well as the bathroom has leaks so their owner needs to invest in new seating and check into the plumbing. But as for the staff & food I am floored. My classmate and I had the biggest test of our career on a Friday so we chose our night study spot to be this IHOP. The staff & management were amazing. We sat off on our own in a quiet area for hours each evening. We didn't order a ton of food during that time however the food that we did eat while there was exactly right each time. We did tip our server according to the time we were there as if we were eating as well. (Always take care of your service industry people regardless if you're dining if you're taking up space) Thankfully we did pass ours test, so a big thank you to Taylor for taking care of us as well as management allowing us to be there long term! read more

This is usually the best IHOP I have found in the greater Houston area. I actually have two IHOPs that are closer to my house and still drive to this one instead. While it's not the best breakfast restaurant, it's a great late-night option when everyone else is closed. I usually get the crepe combo with Swedish crepes and eggs over medium with bacon. Swedish crepes - 5/5 these are my favorite. I think if IHOP got rid of them I would just stop coming. Eggs over medium - 5/5 luckily this location has gotten over medium eggs right every time- something I can't say for other breakfast places Bacon - 3/5 I'm not sure what it is about my request for extra crispy bacon, or why I still ask for it, because I have never gotten crispy bacon here. I guess I just hope that one day their cook will let the bacon keep cooking until it's not a soft, floppy fatty piece of meat. Service really varies. The visit tonight wasn't great. Our waiter didn't seem to have people skills. He wouldn't even wait for us to finish talking before he started to walk off. It was just kind of weird. However, the visit before I had one of the best waiters ever. He was a younger man who was super attentive and sweet. I think I worried him a bit when I asked for the manager but I think good service should be recognized just as much as the bad. My wife and I have been long time customers of this location, and have had many wonderful memories and visits, both late at night and early in the morning. The food is great, the kitchen is responsive, and the service is top rate. Our favorite server, Nestor, has become a good friend. However, all of our enjoyment came to an end this morning. Let me explain: Last week, my wife and I were enjoying a meal at our favorite place when our server (not Nestor) told us about something called Pancake Day. Intrigued, we asked about it. The idea sounded fun, so we asked when it was. "Wednesday the 13th" they said. Now, my wife and I are very busy, and we trust this IHOP, but we wanted to make sure. So we asked "Are you 100% sure it's Wednesday?" The server looked ya in the eyes and said "I'm absolutely sure. It's Wednesday the 13th from 7am to 7pm." When we arrived today, we were told that was not the case, and that Pancake Day was Tuesday the 17th. The host made no attempt to uncover what had happened, nor to get a manager. We were simply told we were wrong. Most issues, we willing to forgive, but not being lied to. I understand that some people will think we're overreacting, but it's the one thing that will make us walk away completely, regardless of how good things were in the past. This is it. We will not give this IHOP our business with this hanging over our heads. It's not about the pancakes, it's about being lied to and then dismissed. Do what you will with this information. read more

This is the boy's favorite place to eat. When we ask him where he would like a meal, he had been saying IHOP. Overall, it is an economical place but it is almost always packed. Waits can be as long as 45 minutes during the busy times. Once we get seated, the food normally comes out quickly, and the waitstaff is very attentive.
