Ordered the Smashburger Classic and smash tots online. When my order arrived saw that the tots were less than half full. So we tried smash burgers years ago and it was awful. We decided to give it another try. I had a double bacon smash burger, crispy brussel sprouts, sweet potato fries ,onion rings and bbq chicken wings. Well, the burger is really good but it's not a smash burger to me. The bacon burger really lives up to its name. This is truly the only burger joint I have ever been to that actually adds BACON to their burgers that claim to have bacon on them. Usually it's a little chip of bacon even if you add extra bacon you get another little chip lol but this burger was loaded with bacon that was really good bacon. I guess you are wondering why 3 stars. Ok first, we waited for the food which was fine for me. I rather wait on hot food then fast cold food but the wait was pointless bc for whatever reason all the sides and wings were cold. That was pretty disappointing. The sweet potato fries were awful, the onion straws were decent, the brussel sprouts were ok but needed seasoning. The brussel sprouts should be fried and then hit with salt and pepper right after they come out of the heat. The wings were mediocre but it's a burger joint so I wasn't expecting anything different. I also had a strawberry dragon fruit drink. That drink was . So tasty. I also tried the Mandarin cardamom drink. This one was a little awkward but addicting lol. Didn't really love it but kept drinking it lol. I usually use cardamom for baking‍. The restaurant also needs a little updating. People were sitting in there (some waiting on pick up orders and others eating) but there wasn't really much space to sit down and be comfortable. I sat on the booth and was literally sitting extremely lower than the table. This lets me know they really need to update things in the dinning area. The staff were very nice and friendly. Again I wouldn't call it a smash burger bc the meat is thick but overall a good burger with real beef and great bacon. read more

Every time I've eaten at Smashburger it's been on point. The problem I have at Smashburger locations is when the fries are not up to par; however, had some Smash-fries and they were on point as well. This was my first time trying smashburger and I really wanted to like it however, some things just can't be overlooked. I ordered the classic smash burger with fries and a shake. When I received my food the fries were cold, the shake was a bit watery, and my burger was undercooked, very pink!! I'm hoping this was just a poor first time experience. I do plan on trying them again later in the near future to give them a chance to redeem themselves. I will say I gave them 2 stars because the lady at the counter was very kind and patient with me since it was my first time ordering, customer service to me goes a long way! I am sad to say Smashburger was below par tonight. Strawberry Milk Shake had no taste manager advise himself to be the proud maker of it. My order was wrong. I don't do beef so I requested turkey with gluten fee bun, You know they gave me beef. mushroom burger was lacking in flavor also. My dog tooted his nose to it. I do fault myself for not checking before leaving area. I am usually an Uber eats client and it's always perfect. It's always lackluster when I dine in or order to go. I've been a loyal devotee if the Smashburger menu for many years now. What's not to love? The Spring/Cypresswood location. It was so disappointing. The wife and I are on the Keto regimen and well, we love the sprouts but were given half an order, having paid for the full. To make matters worse that half order was half Brussels sprout burnt husks. Though we live half a mile away we will avoid this location like the plague. Onto the avocado: black, near moldy. Anytime I go to a Smashburger restaurant, two things are going to happen: 1) My hungry is satisfied and 2) My stomach is thankful that I have good taste in food! I've been to about 5 different locations in the Houston area and they've all given me consistently accurate orders with a smile and prepared my burgers with all the fresh veggies I desire! YUM!!! Even with the small smashburger (which is the kid's burger), I was FULL for hours!!! Those sweet potato fries they piled on my plate didn't help any either. They were just too tempting to leave on the plate--especially when they're fresh and hot. Only complaint that I could mention is that the bench seating is too low for the tables to be comfortable. The seating either needs more cushioning to raise the height of the seat up to a reasonable level to the table, or the tables need to be lowered. Nonetheless, whose going to let some awkward seating interfere with devouring a smashburger???? Certainly not this carnivore! Once you start eating, your mind WILL NOT be bothered with how low the seat is! Spotty service and quality of food. Sometimes it is way to salty, others times it has little seasoning. If I go alone the food is excellent but when I go with my wife, my burger is always over cooked and my wife's order is always wrong no matter what she requests. Last time we went there the counter person ignored us after taking the orders of the 3 customers ahead of us. She said I would be with in a minute then never came back leaving us standing at the counter for more than 5 minutes. She took care of all the orders in front of us then walked off and started cleaning tables never once looking back. We walked out and will never go back.
