If possible do it before your Birthday to get a little surprise as well. It's April 25, 2026 and I just recently joined so will have to wait until my Birthday next March but oh well... lol. So I'm here for a last minute/late night ( Midnight snack) as my family and I would say... I was scrolling earlier and realized some of my welcome deals were expiring tonight! Luckily they are open until 3:00 a.m. and accept online orders until about 2:45 a.m. The App is user friendly, my order was ready ASAP, the employee that took my name & handed me my order was friendly, professional & accommodating. I requested a complimentary water ( ice only) cup & he was like sureee, no problem! :-) Sooo in BIG BACK ENERGY style... I've pulled over at this Shell gas station that's in the same buisness area with Checkers & a place called ( Golden Chick). I tried some fries first ( absolutely yummy), I checked out my Big Buford burger that I customized & my BBQ Bacon Buford burger and everything looked exactly as I ordered! I'm eating one now saving the other for later-lol. So I had to bite into the BBQ Bacon Buford burger and it did not disappoint!!! I think it's a good size, delicious & worth the price ( well especially when you use the buy one /get one offer)- Thanks Checkers! I absolutely loveee honey mustard sauces in general so I ordered 1 to try out with my fries.... so yes y'all should try it! 5 stars in my humble opinion... of course I am kinda low key HUNGRY at the moment but it's soooo good! Oh and shout out to them for giving customers napkins without us having to request some like I experienced at other food chains. Last but not least, the attached receipts come with a "Tell us how we are doing" survey type deal where you get a coupon for a FREE SANDWICH with purchase of a LARGE DRINK. The deals keep happening and we love FREE, especially in this economy these days. I will be doing the survey for another day. Supposedly the place closes at 3am. Pulled into the drive through at 2:30 and was refused service because they were "already closed". Definitely bad business and I'll for sure never eat there again. I'll make sure to spread the word to my friends to also take their business elsewhere read more

Last night I went to checkers and got a 5$ meal. Everything was cool, until I instantly started feeling sick. So I threw the food away and just fell asleep. If I could give no stars I would. I went to this restaurant to pick up a Grubhub order to be delivered. The manager said that the order was picked up and the customer never received it before I got here. The manager said it was picked up over an hour ago. I LOVE CHECKERS! Every time I come to Houston I have to stop and get me a burger. They don't have this in Dallas but I grew up on these when I lived in Nashville. The fries are amazing! Customer service was nice but it sucks these places are next to or attached to gas stations. Some of them don't even have it to where you can dine in but that's ok. Drive out 15 minutes away and get to the drive through at 1:30, when they're closing time is 2 .. to the cashier outside smoking and on the phone , completely ignored us as we looked at the menu right beside where she was .. drive up to order a few minutes later just for her to say they're closed .. are you closed ? Thought I would try a different burger place than my go to off Wendy's. I ordered the Baconzilla. The burger was very juicy but not much flavor. Doesn't taste like any seasoning is used on the meat. I didn't finish the burger. I think I'll be sticking with Wendy's. read more

Good place only thing it's only a togo spot, line moves slow but foods great and cheap. The lady who took my order at the drive thru seemed impatient (only because it was my first time here and was asking simple questions about the food) the cashier lady was nice though. Sunday afternoon I decided to try Checkers for the first time. And let me tell you their baconzilla burger, is amazing! It was delicious and the temperature just right, piping hot Fresh Off The Grill and the french fries were the bomb.com!! The Coke was strong and cold, just like I like it! Checkers is a staple of American fast food. Its delicious garbage. I would be surprised if you could actually say anything bad about a checkers burger. Its messy, cheap and wonderful. The pricing is fantastic for what you get and those chicken nuggets are amazing. The Checkerburger was great- tasted way better than some of the other burger chains. I like the sauce, and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. There were 5 cars ahead of me and I waited about 15 minutes for 3 Checkerburgers. Although the line was slow, it was worth the wait. I will be returning. Make sure you confirm your order and read it back to them because the woman taking orders thought I ordered 1 burger until I repeated my order for 3 burgers. It would be a shame to wait that long in line and then they mess up your order. read more

Typically I get great service when coming here, but today I went and ordered a cheeseburger combo and asked for no onions and no tomatoes. When I got home ready to eat a great, cheap fast food burger , I was greeted by a cold sandwich that clearly had the tomatoes and onions taken out after it sat out for a while. The burger was cold and warming it up in the microwave couldn't save it as the bread had already been soaked by the tomato that was on it. The fries were still hot and fresh! And I usually get great service from here, but still a little disappointed about this time. Great and cheap place! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AWFUL FOOD!!!So disappointed, because Rally/Checkers is one of my favorite fast food restaurants. But this location is by far the worst especially after 10pm. Placed an order through Drive through but cost at window was higher than the amount should be with tax. When asked was their an additional charge for something I was advised no but couldn't get an explanation why the amount was higher. Both drive through workers were unprofessional while the cooks we're lalagagling instead of actually preparing orders. I've never known that asking for fresh food was such a hassle. If you're not customer friendly then you shouldn't work serving customers read more
