The 2nd sandwich I ordered.was the truffel michrrom cheese burger with a chicken paty as well. I asked for there be extra mushroom and truffle sause on the sandwich and grilled onions. And tryed pickles. When I got home I realized they put the mushrooms and onions in a cup and did not put any extra truffle sause on my sandwich. Thr whole thing was dry it was awful. The food was fine but the service left a lot to be desired. The boy up front did not smile nor did he make me feel welcomed in the least. He had long hair that he kept playing with, which is not good around food. One of the employees came out of the back to help make my food and was not wearing her mask properly. She never fixed it. Brand new location across the street from Fiesta Mall and it was fantastic! Food was perfect! I had the Buffalo and Blue Burger and buffalo style fries....just amazing! Finished with a signature milkshake -perfect end to a perfect meal! Employees went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok! We were only customers as the location just opened and definitely need to get the word out. Don't forget to sign up for their loyalty program and Smash Burger Club. Make sure you have condiments and extra toppings. If you request cheese, you won't get cheese. I've been disappointed every time I order from this location. I have even ordered my food online, called to make sure they have the correct add ons, picked up my food and NO CHEESE. Today my pregnant friend and I ordered chicken sandwich, both with cheese and hers had some additional specifications. Neither had cheese and hers was just as it comes with no requested alterations. It's not bad but it is disappointing when you're excited about your lunch. Again, if this was a one time thing, no big deal. But this happens EVERY TIME. Came in today with my service dog in training and they were great! I ordered a Fido burger and they knew what I was talking about and even offered me a bowl of water for him. My dog tried to pick up the water bowl before it was empty and it dumped on the ground and Adrian was understanding and patient and even offered us another bowl of water. Was really excited that they built a new Smashburger not only right next to my apartment, but right across the street from In and Out Burger meaning I could pick and choose between the two! However, I've been to this new Smashburger place a total of 3 times since it opened and have gotten sick 2 out of the 3 times I went there...and the first time I didn't get sick, but happened to find a black hair in my burger....like actually inside the burger....not on top or falling off the side....actually INSIDE the burger. The worse thing is I never get sick in general, so the fact that their burgers made me sick says a bunch....I don't think their employees take the proper precautions or obey food laws for all I know.....fuck this place. The management and help need to learn about customer service. Check your order before you walk out. We always get great service and good food at this location but I have to say that Danielle went above and beyond to give us amazing customer service this week! We often stop here late on Wednesday nights after a class at the gym and last week the tea machines had already been emptied and cleaned when we got there. We didn't complain but casually mentioned to Danielle that we were disappointed about it. When we got there this Wednesday night not only was tea still available in all of the dispensers but Danielle had put 2 to-go cups of tea aside for us "just in case". I love Smashburger! This is a great place for those with gluten allergies. I love their gluten free buns. Food is affordable and tasty.

This is the best Smash Burger I've visited. I've been twice, and both times, the staff has knocked the ball out of the park. The food is excellent and prepared correctly, and the staff practically falls all over themselves to be polite and helpful. We went once at noon on a week day and it was empty, and once on a Friday night and there were only two other parties so it will be interesting to see if they can survive in there but we will patronize whenever we can! read more

Got a flyer in the mail for the new Peppermint Crunch Shake. It costs $4.29, which seemed kind of expensive, but I love milkshakes and peppermint, so I thought I'd give it a try. Worst shake ever. First time trying smash burger was ok. I got a bacon cheese burger and smash fries. My burger tasted really good, the buns were just a bit soggy so it fell apart. They also gave me regular fries instead of smash fries and the were room temp so that sucked. Definitely want to go back and give it another try, mistakes happen. The service was very friendly and pleasant including a smile and the food came out very quickly and was very hot and delicious. Today was my first visit to this particular Smashburger. I work only 2 min. away and decided to get lunch here. I ordered and paid online so I could get in and out quickly. Upon arriving I went to the area marked "online order pick up". I could see that my order was ready and waiting for me. At the time there was only one staff person working the order counter and there was a line of about eight people there. I continued to wait for about 10 min. and nobody came by to help me. I waited for a break in the other line and asked the girl if she could get me my order, which she did. As she was handing me my food she said "next time if you wait in line you would get your food faster". ?!?Really?? Besides the fact that she was being sassy with me, what is the point in calling it in ahead if I need to wait in line to get it??? I only ordered a burger, the ticket on my bag was printed at 11:50 and it was 12:15 when I got it. To me that is poor customer service. I will most likely not be returning to that store. read more

I had a wonderful experience here on Friday night. I ordered take-out and paid for it, but then discovered I'd accidentally ordered an extra burger. I was super excited to try this place for my first time. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed, I get my food, & I basically took a bite of salmonela! My chicken was so undercooked, I felt extremely sick afterwards. I am not the type to make a big deal, so I just didn't eat it . While sitting there staring at my salmonela filled chicken sandwich, (I was wasting for my friends to eat their meal), I notice the kitchen is a disaster, clearly a tsunami rolled through & left everything on the floor. On September 14th I ordered a chicken sandwich, burger and fries through the DoorDash portal for Smashburger. And I get that it's a tablet and you take the risk of getting a wrong item. So when my DoorDash arrived I checked the bag and it was two pretzel bun double patty burgers nothing close to my order upon inspection i noticed the bag had my name on it but the burgers which clearly were not mine had an order ticket attached to it with the name Jeremy. Again why would I know all this info if it wasn't true so I called the store and she said they can remake it and I can drive but I didn't want to so the nice young girl who was working took my name down and my order that was wrong and said she would put it on the books for the next time we came in. So fast forward to today October 27th decide I want a chicken sandwich so when I walked to the counter I explained to the girl that I had a mess up order and wanted to redeem it but also spend more money and purchase another item. The girl looked at me and said uh I need to ask my manager. Not an issue I get it. Comes back up and says "well my manager said he can give you a free burger" at this point my blood was boiling I couldn't believe that they couldn't actually take the time to look at their iou's to see that I was not lying. And also what is the point of taking someone's info and order if you aren't going to replace it. Mind you I was going in there to spend more money and contribute to their business. I did not want to become mad at the girl up front I know she is doing her job, she tried and said are you sure I can give you a free burger but that wasn't what I wanted I wanted the chicken sandwich I originally ordered but for the "manager" in the back maybe try to act like your customers matter. Maybe look at the ious maybe try to make it better. I was also the only person in the restaurant besides for the women who walked in after I started to order. I ordered a meal to-go from a different location across town and didn't realize until I was close to the Alma School location that the burger I received was completely different from what was on my receipt. I called the Alma School location to see if they could help rectify the situation and manager Matt told me to come on in and that he would take care of it -- and he did! Matt was so helpful and nice about the whole situation! He remade my order to match the original receipt, gave me a cup for water while I waited, followed up with the manager of the original location, and was so kind about the whole thing!
