This was my second time going to this location on 9/3/2022 and I took my family for the first time as I had loved the burgers there the first time. We got there at around 6:20pm and upon arriving and walking to the front we were told "Sorry we are not taking any orders at the moment" I asked "why?" The female braided redhead with an EarPod in her ear and red sweater said "We are really backed up" I said "So you are not taking orders at all for the rest of the day?" She said "It would be about a 30 minute wait". At this point we said okay and we proceeded to sit at one of the tables. I set a timer for 30 minutes. As we were waiting more customers were coming in and were told the same things to which most immediately left. Even though they were not taking orders, they were still making food for online orders and sending them out for pick up. This was the first red flag, as I believe customers who come in person and choose to eat at the establishment should always have first priority. As the face of the company, you should never refuse to take someones order right as they walk in. That is how you lose business. There are no excuses as to why online orders were being taken and ours was not. And to be clear, when we arrived, there were already people eating at the tables. There was one customer, however, that came in and walked up to the same female redhead and was told she can order to-go. The cashier took her order in front of us. This was very upsetting as we were told we cannot have our order taken and we were waiting in front of the cashier the entire time and we were never told when it was okay to order. So we got up, stood in line and took our order next. We were told it was only to-go but we didn't care we just wanted to eat so we ordered anyway. That is very ridiculous to have to say that to a customer. The location of where the food is eaten should not matter. After we took our order and waited, more customers would come in and, again, were told no orders were being taken and they would leave. When we received our packaged meal, we decided to eat it at one of the tables. Other customers who were there before us were also eating at the tables so we didn't see a problem. In the middle of my family eating, the same female redhead cashier proceeded to come to our table and said "So I literally told him that you can not dine-in because we are only doing to go orders so we can't have you guys eat in here." At this point I couldn't believe the unprofessional attitude and lack of respect from this worker that I knew I would have to file a serious complaint. We told her we were not going to leave and that we would clean up our table afterwards--which we did, check the cameras. She continued to say her manager told her to say this and that "we are trying to get as many people out of here as possible". Closing time was 10 or 11pm. It was 7pm. There was no sign on the door saying any of these things either. We asked why the other customers were allowed to dine in and she said "because they we here before you." We didn't care and finished our food, enjoyed our conversation and then left. To me, this felt like harassment. How can this establishment allow people like that to become management or be the face of the company when people walk in? The first time I visited this location I saw a blonde male worker in the back of the kitchen vaping around the food, and now this? Even now as I am writing this, I realize these workers knew what they were doing, as to-go order receipts do not have the store number or order number. Ours only says "Chandler 9/3/2022 6:56pm check: 20074" and the order name was under "Jacob" Thats it and it is not enough to have because the company complaint website asks for more than just those details. Well played but I am not letting it go. We are so disappointed. And to be clear, we will never step foot in that location ever again. read more

Smash burger was an afternoon delight ! So fresh so juicy so delicious. This particular location was very very busy ! The line was long with 2 cashiers running the show, the seemed to be pretty fast and very friendly. They cranked out the orders with errors on our take out which was a pleasant surprise. Not pricey very average & reasonable $6-7 range They have a great variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, regular fries, smash fries ( Rosemary & sea salt ) hand spun Häagen-Dazs ice cream, and a few craft beers. They use egg buns which are fluffy & soft. It's a good size burger not huge not tiny just right sounds like a burger fit for goldilocks ! Went here about a week ago. I ordered the Avocado club regular size and Smash fries. The person who took the order had a good attitude and took his time as we said it was our first time there. The order came out really quick. My wife's and my burgers were cooked perfectly and juicy not greasy. The smash fries were a tad on the oily side though it does have olive oil drizzled on it. My wife ordered the sweet potato fries and they were really good which I usually don't like them. The size of the burger was really good for the smaller option. The bun was out of this world. I don't think I've had a bun that was so fresh and perfect. The burger toppings were extremely fresh also. They let me try the truffle sauce and the smash sauce. I was warned of the strength of the truffle sauce and was not disappointed. The smash sauce was really good until my wife reminded me its everything that's in egg salad with out the eggs. Still good though. This is currently one of my favorite burgers. The only drawback is due to the price. While the only thing in and out has over it is in price the other competition in the area doesn't even come close. read more

Well, I'll start with I've visited this specific store for well over two years. I'm not sure if they e recently come under new management, but the service is lacking. Last time I went they messed up my order. No big deal. But then today I stopped in and was practically given the "we're too busy" speech, and pushed out the door. Girlfriend and I order our food, notice the woman behind the counter serve one of our orders to the wrong table, 5 minutes go by and she then realizes her mistake, no big deal. She then decides to put the order back in the window while our other order finishes. My issue with this is that the food sat at another table with other patrons, god knows what happened during that time, especially with COVID right now. I asked the lady if she could just make a new order and she said sure. The cook decides to put the order behind the counter and 5 minutes later, puts it up in the window as if he re-fired the order.... My husband and I had never tried a food delivery service before and decided to try one last night. We've also always wanted to try Smash burger so decided that's what we'd have delivered. That being said, I'm not sure whether to blame our cold not fresh food on the restaurant or the delivery service. We order the smash fries which were ice cold and not fresh tasting at all. Very disappointing. Our burgers were good but also not as hot as we'd liked them to be. My hubby had the mushroom burger which he said was just OK. And I had the classic smash burger also ok but probably would have been better had it been hotter. Willing to give them another go but will probably go in and see if that makes a difference next time. And next time we try delivery it won't be burgers and fries. read more

This was only my second time trying Smashburger. I was not disappointed. The "build your own" was awesome and my burger came out just as I like it. The shoestring fries were fresh and crispy, something that can make or break a classic 'burger and fries' experience. My daughter and I each got a burger and shared a large order of fries. That was more than enough food for the two of us and we even had fries leftover. The manager, Alex, stopped by our table to see how everything was. Great food & amazing customer service! The person who was serving me got my order wrong, they forgot to give me a burger, had to come back to get my burger. To add to that, once I got home my soda was the wrong size (it was a small instead a large) and finally, all the burgers were all smushed. Overall the food was good just bad service. read more

I have lived in the Fiesta area going on 2 years now . The only reason why I tried it because I received coupons ( which were excellent). The burgers were very delicious, homemade, upscaled fast food. The guy Jeffrey and the other young lady the night of April 8th was very nice . I would definitely come back to this place . The line was not long, but it did take a while to order . I work in customer service and sometimes circumstances come up, so it didn't bother me. Keep up the great job you guys/ladies !! read more

Fantastic burgers, perfect fries, and great management (Wayne :D). Make sure you dine in for the best experience (delivery and take-out orders sit out longer resulting in a soggier bun). The food continues to be goodHOWEVER their food costs are crazy. A $6.00 shake is the same size as a small adult size drink. $3+ for an Oder s small fries. I give up. My boyfriend and I came here on our way home to grab 1 vanilla Malt and 1 strawberry shake. There were 2 people in front of us and the guy at the register did not know what he was doing as if it were his first day- which is fine but where's his trainer?? We waiting about 10 minutes to put our order in which he didn't even know what a malt is. After we ordered we sat down and waited 20 minutes for our 2 shakes! I rarely eat fast food but as life works out sometimes that's what works. I ran out the house without my Credit cards that I keep in my phone case. I was happy to see they excepted Apple Pay but alas it would not work. I was very frustrated with my phone the manager said no worries those things give problems some, it's on us! I was very appreciative of that so I decided to come back again. This time my Apple Pay worked fine but I waited over 10 minutes for my food. I've been to this Smash Burger five times now and every time I'm here my meal is delicious. I didn't give them five stars but their food deserves it because their food is really superior to other fast food burger restaurants. I like the clean feel of the restaurant. If anything keeps customers from coming here or it might be the price point it's just a touch higher than the competition. However, that doesn't really matter because the product you get here is really superior. First time at Smash and I thought the burger was great! Had the mushroom/Swiss burger W/ the smash fries. Burger was cooked perfect! Slightly pink in the middle and the Char flavor was great! Mushrooms done well and cheese nicely melted. The fries between regular and shoestring were very crispy and seasoned well. All in all a great burger experience. I placed my order online with ease(Beside fighting myself on what burgers sounds better). The location is visible from the street but has a nice back entrance and is fairly clean around the parking lot. The lobby is very clean and well stocked with ample room to be spaced out apart for covid restriction if you choose to dine in(available at the time of this posting). The staff upon picking up my food were very kind and helpful. Both of them made sure i had everything i need to enjoy my meal @home. I came here about a year ago with my husband because my uncle actually recommended eating here. The customer service was great and the staff was friendly. The restaurant was very clean and smelled very nice. However, the prices are a little high in my opinion for what you're getting. The burger was average. Almost like an in-n-out burger but overpriced. The fries were seasoned very good but the fries were severely oily and were soggy within a few minutes. Overall, it wasn't a bad place. I called in my order on the phone to pick up at the restaurant. I get there and stand in the designated line for "pick up your to go order" for a few minutes and no one noticed me. So i asked if i had to wait in the line that had about 14 people in it, and he said "well you have to pay for it so yeah". Clearly understaffed for the amount of customers in line. Three people working at 4 on a saturday? Not to mention I see my food in the bag sitting there on the counter, not under the heat lamp the entire time i am waiting. I don't understand why they have a sign with an arrow pointing to where you pick up your to go order. Might as well get rid of the sign since i had to stand in the other line. I went here just before they closed and let me tell you it was the freshest new I have ever had. I was expecting that it was gunna be just okay since they were closing but it was so good! The best part about it was it was my firsts time trying their turkey burger, which I had got on the chipotle bun, and man, it was something else. And snagged some of my parents' fries, which were better than the tots.
