I love Taco Bell, especially the cantina bowls. Unfortunately, this location in particular always gets the orders wrong and I end up needing to contact customer service. I usually do drive through here but the 2 times I've gone in, the experience is hit or miss with the kiosks being the primary way to order vs interacting with a human. The interior is modern and I like the updates Taco Bell has done (in general). I hope they can work on the quality control and accuracy. Absolutely horrible. The Mexican pizza had a scoop of burnt beans and dried out meat about an inch in diameter in the dead center. There was nothing else but hard tortilla. The two bean burritos were completely dried and hard as a rock, including the beans. The tacos were cold and barely filled with any meat, lettuce and tomato. Absolutely god awful. Employees are rude. We walked up to the counter because we had a coupon to user upon walking up to the counter we were ignored so we asked if we could order at the counter. An employee looked at us and said that "we are busy go use one of the self checkout machines" we told her we had a coupon that wouldn't work on the machine. It is laughable how bad this Taco Bell is. We ordered online thru the mobile app, we showed up, they confirmed my order. I get to the window, they ask me if I'm someone else, to which I correct them. They then continue to hand me the wrong drink for someone else's order, and I correct them AGAIN. A different person comes up and asks me to go park around the side (so I could just get out of their drive thru) so I do. They then bring me out someone else's order and say it's mine, so I take it back inside. The employee then starts cussing at their coworker for giving them the wrong order. They proceeded to give the order to the right person (which is a massive health concern, who knows what I could have done to that persons food?). They then hand me my two drinks with no ice and then ignore me for 10 minutes. Then they give me my order and got the customizations on half the items wrong. I was so fed up at this point that I just left and put in a complaint through the app. I'm not even hungry anymore. The more I try Taco Bell food the more I get Taco Bell regret ;p. I can't fault a chain for the actual food unless it tastes totally different from what it's supposed to be like. Food aside, this location was sparkling clean when we went in and we got our orders in a short amount of time. Hot sauce packets are to the side so you can get as many or as little as you want. This location is also a bit unique in that it also has Pizza Hut food for purchase. I want to see a taco pizza on the menu so I can order a Pizza Hut taco pizza with a Taco Bell Mexican pizza ;). Typically, I leave missing at least one item I have ordered (even if I only order two items); however, this location off of Dobson/Southern in Mesa has never let me down. Four cars in front of me and two cars behind me and I said to myself I'll be here forever. To my surprise the wait was only a few minutes.
