Love the Colorado burger! Love the green chilies SO good. But to be honest the overall quality wasn't quite up to par with the Smash Burgers I get in Dallas. Only three customers(2 from my party) inside so not busy. Had plenty of associates working. I ordered the mushroom truffle burger and smash tots. Food took about 15 mins. My friend ordered first and hers took longer than mine. My smash tots were just plain and my burger had no cheese and no sauce. The taste was good with both items just wasn't what I ordered. My friend had the chicken sandwich she said it was good but it was just the chicken on the bun no toppings or sauce. read more

I'm in the process of trying to figure out if it's gluten that turns my insides out. It's not my choice to be a tough customer, but in the interest of not feeling massively sick, it's pretty important to know what's in my food. The cashier and the manager standing there assured me that there wasn't any gluten on the sweet potato fries. I gleefully ordered them, but went ahead and checked on their website to make sure. I love Smashburger in Denver.... I know this isn't designer cuisine but their turkey burger and Brussel sprouts are awesome. This place---chocolate shake was water; salad missing ingredients; packaged to go even though it was for here; served cold. It happens. But the one star is for the six bags of trash sitting in the main eating area. Just stacked right there full of food and trash next to where you get your drinks. Just yuck. read more

Last time I ate here I was sitting in a booth by the food pickup window. I noticed a burger that was placed under the heating lamp ready for pickup. This burger sat under the heating lamp for several minutes. Meanwhile the store "manager" and couple of employees were standing by the cash register talking about the party the night before. Normally I wouldn't care about the above but it turned out the burger under the heating lamp was mine. Don't understand why it sat there for as long as it did with 3 employees standing almost right on top of it. Most disappointing burgers ever. Can't tell difference between reg and big. Asked to substitute cheddar cheese for bacon on my burger. Got charged .70 for one slice of cheese instead. Wow. This has by far been the worst experience I have ever had at any Smash burger location. The amount of time that it took to even receive my FRENCH FRIES was ridiculous. Family of five that loves In-n-Out burgers and has recently become fans of Five Guys (for different reasons than In-n-Out) visited the Smashburger in Dillon and had a good experience, but not for the obvious reasons. Good: All three people who ordered the chicken really liked their meals which included grilled chicken and crispy chicken sandwiches really enjoyed their meals. Gave Smashburger enthusiastic 4 stars. Milkshakes were good as well. Fries were average. Not so Good: The two people who ordered the burgers enjoyed the ability to customize their burgers, but were disappointed by the hamburger patties themselves. The patties were overcooked and dry, and really detracted from the overall taste of the burger. Is there a state law or company policy mandating well-done burgers? Gave Smashburger 2 stars. We would return for the chicken, but not the burgers--unless there was some way we could be assured of juicy patties. read more

I came here during dinner time after going to the Ice Castle on a Saturda night. Now I understand that it's prime dinner time and as people were leaving the mountain and trying to get something to eat, the place was super busy. The line was by the door when we entered and moving slowly. We thought they were super busy but the place wasn't entirely filled, just a long line. Turns out the line was moving super slowly because they only had one cash register going and the person behind the counter was SUPER SLOW. She seemed to be hard of hearing and understanding. We tried to help her out by being exact with our order (and to avoid any mix ups) but she would ask her questions even after us trying to be precise. For example one of our order was a regular cheeseburger with fried egg and grilled onions. She would ask is what size and what onions, even though we told her precisely what we wanted, which prolonged the ordering process. I could tell the couple behind us was getting annoyed as we were. In the end, she still messed up our order and missed a burger (5 total). We saw it on the screen and confirmed the order and a burger was still somehow missed from the order. We had to speak to a manager to resolve the issue where he comped the burger for free and had it be up next on the order. With the busy rush, they definitely needed the second register to be open and less people going around cleaning tables. Better yet, they need to put someone more efficient behind the counter to get people moving and orders correct. Or order came out one by one, burger was dry and lacked flavor. Fries were cold. Fried pickles were salty. We were better off going somewhere else. read more

NEVER AGAIN!! Sat and waited FORTY MINUTES for our food! After 20 minutes I went up and asked what the problem was and he told me that they were backed up 30-40 minutes which the guy who took our order never bothered to tell us or we would've left. When I asked after 20 min that guy told me 8 more minutes. 20 minutes later our food finally showed up with no offer of any compensation at all. Has to be the most poorly managed place I've been to and we will never return! *Haven't eaten our burgers yet but I assume they're as good as all the other locations, just HORRIBLE SERVICE! read more

Don't bother with the smash fries. I really love Smashburger burgers but I will never understand why anyone eats their french fries. First of all the seasoning is just ok, it doesn't really add anything to the fries nor does it detract from them. However, the fries themselves are really thin which results in them alway being cold. Every single time I eat here my fries are cold 10 seconds after they come out of the frier. Also, they are so greasy. I know french fries are supposed to be greasy, that's part of their awesome indulgance quality but this crosses the line. Maybe if they were hot I wouldn't notice as much but they're not. Eating Smashfries is like eating cold styrofoam soaked in cheap oilve oil. Avoid the fries! But try the burgers, I recommend the colorado burger. read more

Stopped here during the Holidays it was beyond packed The staff was amazing , while it took a few extra minutes it was worth the wait for certain the gentleman who delivered our shakes returned with our lunch minutes later it was spot on he even asked if he could replace our children's chocolate milk due to the added wait time, now that's service !!! We have been to this restaurant before with mediocre results .... now we are sold thank you to everyone who made us feel like we were the only people in the room ( not sure what the mangers name was but you can't miss him shaved head and a smile from ear to ear) read more

This restaurant is filthy. Food was good, but we finished eating and I never received the milkshake I ordered. I had to go to the register and ask twice for my milkshake before I finally got it... to go (about 40 minutes). Not impressed at all! We had eaten at a different smashburger and it was good. This one not so good! When we first walked in they were reupholstering the chairs in the middle of the place where everyone could see and employees just standing around. I ate 4 bites of my cheeseburger and threw the rest away because it was so greasy. Not only was the food not good but the place was filthy. The floor was slick I almost fell. At least 3 employees walked by the trash cans and let the baskets and cups just sitting there until there wasn't room for anymore. I will not be going back to a smashburger again. The flagship location downtown still my favorite but the Mountain location has been a great substitute. The milkshakes are all handmade with Haagen-Dazs and no strange ingredients. I love the Colorado Burger and their shoestring fries sweet potato fries and fried pickles. Service is normally quick text about 5 minutes from ordering for delivery to your table. The staff is always super helpful if you want some suggestions and going above and Beyond to make the experience the best it can be. Smash Burgers prices are a little bit higher than I feel they should be but with regular coupons and two for ones it all washes out in the end. Smashburger is definitely still not in and out but a personal favorite for chain burgers in Colorado. They also now have delicious chicken sandwiches and possibly turkey. Don't forget to order it grilled or fresh depending on your preferences. read more

Cathy, our host, went above and beyond to make our visit great. I have a dairy allergy and she made sure my order was made to accommodate my special request. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Although our visit was during Covid we felt safe to eat in the restaurant as there were designated areas open & closed for seating and hand sanitizer at the entrance. All in all we had a great meal and would definitely recommend Smashburger and come back for another visit. read more

We have eaten at a lot of locations and the service she provided and friendliness in which she conducted herself was so refreshing and truly rare to find these days. Hey your burgers are great. Always enjoy coming here and our son digs the chicken strips. Never had an issue. Until tonight... still no issue with the food but posting this purely for the management FYI. In here enjoying dinner with the family and your staff is complaining full volume about their grievances about being too busy (for the last ten years.) Several people moved to tables away from the counter to get away from it. They don't seem to be aware their conversation in front of guests is unprofessional. read more
