I enjoy the food at Smashburger but, the service varies. They often make mistakes with orders and the manager likes to refuse to correct the order or give a refund depending on the manager of the day. In my recent visit I was upset with their lack of training on PPE gear. For example, they use the same gloves to make milkshakes and collect cash, the chef is touching the counter tops with the same gloves they prepare the food with, the person that packages the food is touching everything in sight in addition to your food. I enjoy Smashburger but I really need they to give their employees training on sanitary measures. read more

You wait so long for someone to respond to you so they can take your order. The tables are filthy and you have to clean them yourself: that's terrible. The waiters bring your food to you after talking all over it and that's terrible in my opinion. The food is subpar and expensive. This was my first time at SmashBurger. The cashier was friendly & welcomed me. It was very crowded (Saturday afternoon-figures) but the line was moving and the staff was on point. I ordered the Smash Burger with fries and it was delicious. I can't wait to go back again. The staff was attentive and welcoming to everyone. Who ever is managing this place is doing a fantastic job. Don't go there on a Sunday. I waited 35 minutes for a burger. When it came out, it was burnt. I meant crispy black burnt. And it was cold. . . Omg so after shooing at the mall in gateway. I wanted a burger. This place is great !! The service was amazing. I actually sat n ate there. They came three times just to see that everything was okay. The prices are great. I thought it would be expensive but it wasn't. I had the bacon cheeseburger with French fries. The fries are thin n seasoned with olive oil , garlic n something else. The one thing that separates Smash Burger from the others are their Smash Fries which are thin and full of flavor. I wait almost 30 mins for 2 milk shakes and a small order of sweet potatoes fries. While I waited I painfully watched the girl assigned to milkshakes refuse to complete steps a-z. Instead she filled up the blender cups and by the time she had help, which she kept saying was needed if people wanted their shakes because she wasn't doing the whole thing, there were about 8-9 blender cups just sitting there with ice cream, zero shakes had been complete in almost 30 minutes. Came here on a Saturday night. This was my first time at a Smash burger. I chose the create your own option. I tried the pretzel bun with the crispy chicken, lettuce, tomatoes and BBQ sauce and fries. They bring your order to your table. My sandwich was missing the BBQ sauce but I decided to proceed my meal without it. The crispy chicken was really good. The pretzel bread was good. Not an overpowering taste. I liked my experience. The good: The food is good, burger, chicken sandwich, fries or tots. The bad: I always go order in person and take out. I have never been to this location and not had to make a second trip because they either messed up my order or left out an entire meal from my order. The ugly: I have never gotten to enjoy a hot burger from this place because I always have to run back out back to the store to get the missing piece of my order. As a Bobby Flay, Jackson Hole and Five Guys burger fan I know a good burger when I taste one. Smashburger is a great addition to these places and even closer to me than all those places. From the home-made taste of the angus burgers and their juiciness, to the sweet potato fries, this place is awesome. They lost 1 star on my rating 4 star due to their customer service. I chose to make my own, which included egg bun, aioli, cheddar, cucumbers and lettuce. I made it through about 80% of the burger before I started tasting it. F******G bacon in my burger! I was raised not to eat pork. I'm drastically disgusted, nauseated, and emotional about this ish. The manager came out to apologize with vouchers for the future and I received my money back, which is the right way to go about this but I still really upset about it.
